Once again Sharon and her team have made another stay an amazing experience and will not be hesitating to return to this fabulous hotel in the near future. From its perfect location, cleanliness and recent swimming pool refurbishment you will not be disappointed, and would recommend this hotel without hesitation. (Keep up the good work)

Had a brilliant stay at Grand Azur. There was a wide range of activities and entertainment. I particularly enjoyed the DJ class with Tuhan, he made it very fun and enjoyable and was very encouraging towards the group. Overall the hotel has everything you’d need, all the staff provided exceptional service and I would recommend.

We spent a week here. It is a superb hotel with excellent amenities. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The food is superb and, if you are staying for 5 nights or more, you get one free visit to the a la carte restaurant which is on the top floor with super views and food to match. Our room was very comfortable and well equipped. Our only slight grumble is that the room had an interconnecting door to the adjacent room. Great if you have children with you but we didn't and we did get some late night noise from our neighbours on a few nights.

Dear Robert275 - thank you for reviewing your recent holiday. We are delighted to hear that you were impressed with the service and also enjoyed the food we offer. We do not have many connecting rooms at the hotel. For those who are considering staying with us, we are happy to be contacted directly, either by email or on our social media platforms and we can advise. It's also worth knowing that it is possible to choose a specific room within the booked category by using the online 'select your room' service. Details are available on the BLUE app. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and hope we'll have the chance to see you again. Warm regards, Sharon Ay General manager

Just back from an amazing weeks holiday. The hotel is beautiful. We booked a limited sea view room which was fabulous. Food excellent, staff are all excellent, by the second day they knew what drinks we were drinking, We walked to icmeler one day 3 miles each way, another day we got the water taxi both ways, 200TL each way. WE ate at the Levante restaurant which was excellent, grab and go self service snacks and coffee really great, cakes between 3 and 5 in lobby area. A shout out to Cemre who we saw in the bar in the evenings, a really nice member of staff. The hotel shop was expensive between £ 18/20 for sun cream , best to go prepared. The airport at Dalaman is really strict with luggage weights, its £16 per kg for any excess luggage. Very slow getting through the airport check in / security, you get checked again as you arrive at departure gate. Duty free at airport trying to oversell on cigarettes and tobacco. We had a fabulous holiday and would return in a heartbeat, hoping to go next year.

This is a great hotel with wonderful staff who work tirelessly to make your stay an unforgettable experience. The restaurants are spudboy with endless choices of food which is well cooked by the talented chefs at the hotel. The accommodation is modern and clean with all the usual amenities expected. The staff are cleaning constantly which was lovely to see. The pools at the hotel are freezing, although the indoor pool is supposed to be heated, it’s not. The two-outdoor spa pools are also freezing so are unused, which makes them pointless. On the private beach they post red flags which internationally are known for do not swim it’s dangerous. The hotel has signs stating this. What the hotel is saying however is that there is no lifeguard on duty, the same flag system is used in the pool. Either discard the flag system or extend the hours of the lifeguards, you shouldn’t allow swimming in an area under a red flag. The hotel app info on pools and services is not updated, for instance the indoor pool on the app and text messages says daily it opens at 0800, in fact it opened at 1000. The board at the spa said 1000, the info board near the restaurant says 0800. The beach bar was open till 0000, reception said 1800, the app didn’t say anything. This review should have been a 5 star review, the staff and facilities are brilliant let down by some poor management process.

Dear Andrew P Thank you for sharing your detailed review of your recent holiday. We are pleased you were happy with the facilities and equally impressed with the dedicated work of our staff. We understand your disappointment with some of the communication methods around the hotel and thank you for bringing it to our attention - we have revisited and corrected. The beach bar is normally closed during April and as the weather has been so unusually warm we decided to extend the opening times – we have communicated this to our Front Office team. The pool is warming up nicely as is again usual for the opening months in this region. Our indoor pool is heated and a digital board displays the temperature. We are sorry to read you felt you had to penalise us because of some of the misinformation. We hope this didn’t greatly impact your holiday and the great temperatures made for a very enjoyable low season visit to the hotel. We hope you will choose to visit us again. Warm regards Sharon Ay General manager

We've truly had a wonderful stay in Tui Blue Grand Azur. The most important point to mention is the staff and how hard they work to ensure that the guests have an amazing, hassle-free time, their waiting times are minimised and that they feel welcome. The waiters were very friendly and efficient, our special shout-out to Vahit who was just fantastic and very friendly, making us enormous amounts of Turkish tea. It’s worth-noting that we came to the hotel during Ramadan and many staff members were, I believe, fasting while still providing an exceptional quality of service. I was amazed at how kind and patient everyone was. I do hope the management of Grand Azur realises how hard their staff work and offers them fair working conditions. The food was just amazing. As someone who lived in Turkiye for a couple of years, travelled quite a bit and made it her mission to try as much local foods as I could, I was really happy to see all the Turkish foods I loved and missed including Cig Kofte, Manti, Pide with different toppings every day, Menemen, Ashure, Sutlac, Dugun Corbasi and many more. I haven't tried all the Turkish meat dishes as I try to cut down on meat consumption but my husband said they were excellent and cooked to perfection. I hardly tried any 'international' foods as I wanted to take full advantage of what's local but there was plenty and it looked fantastic. Thanks to the TUI Blue App we were able to book activities throughout out stay: lovely morning yoga on the jetty with Elif, cocktail classes with funny and sassy Baris, a DJ's class with Tuhan who is clearly knowledgeable and passionate about his job but also very humble, olive oil tasting class and, last but not least, indoor cycling with Hassan that I discovered a bit late-I’d have joined all of the indoor cycling classes if I had known how amazing they were! I wish there was a cooking class or a Turkish food class to talk about the Turkish dishes served at the restaurant. The hotel interior, the beach, the pool area, the garden-everything was just amazing. In the luggage room, we saw a CATalogue-book about all the cats living on the hotel premises. What a great idea but we’ve noticed it wasn’t updated-would be lovely to see an updated version when we come back (hopefully soon)! Just one other minor thing-the hotel pools are lovely but were a bit too deep for me as an adult non-swimmer. I know it's not something the hotel can do anything about, I just need to learn :) Thank you so much to everyone at Tui Blue for making our holiday unforgettable.

Dear Barbieeee_k - Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful review. We're thrilled to hear that you had such a fantastic stay and that our staff made such a positive impression on you. They do work hard and everyone is a valued member of the team. We're delighted that you enjoyed the diverse range of Turkish cuisine we offer and that you were able to indulge in the local flavours. It is also great to hear your enthusiasm for the free activities we provide and found the BLUE app to be a convenient way of booking them. Thank you for mentioning the CAT-alogue, which features some of the cats we look after at the hotel. We will update the information as soon as we can. It’s on the BLUE app and we’ve also put one in the luggage room next to a donation box for those who might like to contribute to the animals’ welfare. Thank you once again for choosing TUI BLUE Grand Azur for your holiday. We hope we get the chance to welcome you again for another memorable stay. Warm regards, Sharon Ay General manager

We have just got back from 7 nights away at the Grand Azur, couldn’t fault a thing! The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly - we befriended Mehmet and who became our waiter for the whole stay - the beer just kept on coming! Stunning location about 35mine stroll to Marmaris centre or an hour the other way to Icmeler. Taxi back cheap at approx. 250/300TL. The food was varied and incredible every night, you were spoilt for choice with a wide variety of local and international dishes to choose from. Just to note that cocktails are not inclusive so you will be charged €6 per drink. Same with any branded whiskey/vodka etc which is to be expected. Remaining drinks are included. The inclusive G&T’s were strong and delicious! There is a supermarket and other shops just across the road including a cash machine. Onsite hairdressers, Jewellers and shop. Evening entertainment was fabulous and varied, lots to do for adults and kids! Balconies very spacious and safe. I would recommend making use of the a la carte restaurant which you can book via the app as it is on the top floor and provides stunning views. Once you check in, you can download and sign in via the TUI blue app on high fives you a daily schedule of all activities and bookable options too. For those who prefer a more active holiday, there is plenty of choice! There are plenty of cats but most are very friendly and some will even come for a snuggle on a quiet evening by the outdoor bar area :) We’re not ones for coming back to the same spot but without a doubt will be booking this hotel again, thanks to all the staff for a truly relaxing and wonderful Easter getaway X

You will not be disappointed with this hotel, even when we arrived the welcome we received was like we were famous! They greet you as soon as you get out of the coach we had about 5 staff welcoming us stood in a line. They get you welcome drinks and take all your bags. We arrived around 9pm, very quick check in and they told us we could go for dinner and they will bring our bags to our room when we was finished. When we got to our room it was very spacious, amazing pool and sea view, huge bed which was very comfy and mini bar was stocked with water. The whole set up of the hotel is just amazing, the pool is very big with a lazy river, and plenty of sun loungers. You are unable to reserve beds which is a good thing as you don’t need to run down early in the morning just to get a bed. In general the facilities are really good and it’s a very relaxed atmosphere with plenty of things to do in the day. The staff also don’t constantly ask you to do things there’s no pressure. The restaurant has a good selection of food and is so tasty! If you are a breakfast person, try the Turkish eggs they are incredible! You get one visit to Levente A la carte restaurant and wow!!! It’s like being in a very expensive restaurant with the most amazing food, drink and views. I’d recommend you book a day bed on the Jetty. We booked one for a birthday & it was the best day. We had our own waiter service bringing us drinks and food, we didn’t have to move all day! The one thing that stood out for us was the STAFF. Every single one of the staff were just so welcoming and couldn’t do enough for you!! Never let you go without a drink and constantly asking you can they get you anything else. They build up such a lovely relationship with you which makes it very hard when leaving! Thank you so much to all the staff here! 5 star service all around. Overall, if you are want a relaxing stay with friendly staff, incredible views and incredible food and drinks this is the place for you!

This hotel is really great and we would love to stay here again. Everything was spotlessly clean and staff were visible constantly cleaning. The food was really good quality and there was a ride range of choice for every meal, also changed every day. Staff were handling food with good hygiene at all times and were happy to try to help where they could. There was always a 'plain' choice for the more picky eaters such as fries, plain chicken/steak, white rice, bread etc. The waiters in the restaurant were attentive and quickly filled up your drinks and took plates away. They also remembered what your preferences were which is amazing with how many guests they serve. The grab and go was good for a quick bite and the patisserie had amazing cakes which tasted really good. The pancake hut was a nice touch and changed the flavours every day. The room was to a high standard and the beds and pillows really comfy. Our only gripe here was that the air conditioning didn't work, and when we enquired we were told it doesn't get turned on until May. Our room was boiling at night as it was 28 degrees outside in the daytime, so we ended up sleeping with the balcony door open. The bar was good, however there were a lot of drinks that were not included and had a further charge for them which was disappointing. The drinks that were included though were strong and mixed properly, rather than being from a pre-mixed jug with a touch of alcohol in them. Night time entertainment was good. The singers could actually sing and we had a great time. The reps were trying to get people up and dancing, but would leave you alone if you didn't want to join in. The outdoor pool was FREEZING, and the indoor one wasn't much warmer, but both were immaculately clean and the lazy river was a lovely touch. Sunbeds were spaced out, so you weren't on top of each other and you were not allowed to reserve beds before 9am. There were plenty though, so this wasn't an issue and was nice to not have to be up and worrying about it. The beach was a bit gritty and had lots of stones just as you got into the sea, so you really need water shoes to be comfortable. The hotels patch of beach was very clean and decorated beautifully, however the bits to either side had quite a bit of rubbish on them, and the same all along the promenade which ruined the location a bit. If you stayed in the hotel you could imagine you were anywhere and felt special, but if you walked towards Marmaris it was a bit of a dump, the opposite direction however was much better. Overall we had a great holiday. This was our first time to Marmaris and we weren't impressed with the area, but we decided that this could be down to being out of season and a lot of hotels being renovated. The hotel was one of the best looking on the promenade and I am very pleased that we chose it.

Dear TN10QJulieB - Thank you for taking the time to provide such detailed feedback about your recent stay with us. We're delighted to hear that you found our hotel to be great and that you would consider staying with us again. It's wonderful to know that you appreciated the cleanliness of our facilities and the dedication of our staff in maintaining a hygienic environment. We're glad you enjoyed the quality and variety of our food offerings, as well as the attentive service provided by our restaurant staff. It's fantastic to hear that you found our Grab & Go options convenient and that you indulged in our delicious cakes from the patisserie. We're pleased that you found your room to be of a high standard and the beds comfortable. During the dates of your stay, we experienced unusually warm weather. Our centrally controlled air conditioning system is switched over from heat from 1st May onwards. Due to the unusually high rise in temperature, after the first week, which we knew would continue, we made the decision to switch over early. Our all-inclusive bar menu is available to view on the BLUE app and in the bar. As part of our all-inclusive concept, locally branded alcoholic drinks are included and we have no less than 18 cocktails to choose from. Imported drinks are chargeable and this is very clearly explained. We shoıuld highlight for anyone thinking of booking - if they are looking for imported drinks and all cocktails included, we do not offer this here. It’s great to hear that you enjoyed our evening entertainment and that our team made efforts to engage guests without being intrusive. Our evening entertainment runs until 11pm. You are correct in saying that some areas of the resort around the hotel were still under preparation during your time with us. We opened earlier than most hotels and worked hard to ensure that all our facilities were up and running – this includes our stretch of beach. I will, however, share your observation with the local authorities as they always talk about an early opening so they will be interested to read your thoughts. We are very pleased you chose us for your holiday and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future for another memorable stay. Warm regards, Sharon Ay General manager
