I stayed at Casa de Maris for 8 days for a girlie holiday with 6 friends. It was all inclusive.
The staff were great, very friendly, the entertainment team work very hard and Anastasia was enthusiastic and lovely and always had a smile on her face all hours of the day.
The entertainment was good, there were activities round the pool, yoga, aqua aerobics, darts, boccia and step aerobics
We loved the location of the hotel, you can walk out of the hotel by the beach and turn left and walk along the promenade to Marmaris which takes approximately 1 hour for shopping, or turn right and walk into Icemeler for 40 minutes. There also shops outside the hotel at the front.
The food was great, plenty of choice, something for everyone, we had vegetarian and gluten free friend, the vegetarian was okay, but it was harder for our gluten free friend. I think the labelling could have been better.
You get a free a la carte restaurant visit per holiday, which was either Turkish or a fish restaurant, we had fish and you have 5 courses, which was all very nice and in a nice al fresco setting.
We loved the drink choices, premium drinks, Gordon’s pink gin, Smirnoff vodka, Schweppes tonic, bottled Coca Cola, barcardi, fresh cocktails and shots. They do great coffees and lattes etc too.
We had 3 rooms on the first floor with a sea view, they overlooked the pool, there was tea and coffee making facilities, a mini fridge, which was free and topped up with beer, water and soft drinks. There were complimentary toiletries, we had an open plan style room, where the sink was in the bedroom and the shower and the wc were separate, but with sliding glass doors.
There was a free safe in the room which was easy to use with a code you put in. You get beach/pool towels which you can change whenever you want.
All in all we loved the hotel and everything it had to offer, we would definitely recommend it, our only gripe was the sun lounger saving around the pool, you had to be up before 7am at the latest to get a sun lounger round the pool, as everyone puts there towels out. We loved the private hotel jetty off the beach as it was chilled there, no noisy music and a lovely breeze and the sun loungers were easier to find. We had a great bar waiter who looked after us and brought drinks all day from the pool bar to the jetty from 10am to 6pm, his name was Venbi and he worked very hard and made our holiday more enjoyable.

This is our second time to this hotel and definitely won’t be our last. The rooms are lovely and spacious and each room has its own balcony with a table and 2 chairs. There is a safe in each room and a mini fridge which is topped up daily, at no extra cost, with Efes beer, water and soft drinks. You can choose to have your room cleaned daily or not by pushing a button to light up the maid symbol. The meals are buffet style and there really is something for everyone, breads, salad, meats, tiny mixed dishes and main courses which vary daily. There is also fresh fruit and a large dessert selection. There is a snack bar serving food from 12pm to 4pm, salads, pizza or burgers. Bottles of water are freely available. There are 2 bars, one by the pool and the lobby bar, the cocktails are delicious and the bar people will serve what you ask for. The waiters are brilliant, Enes, Selahattin and Emin are the ones that stood out for us, nothing is too much trouble and they really help make your holiday great. They work tirelessly to ensure you get what you want, an absolute asset to the hotel. They will also get drinks for you by the pool, which is great.
The one downside is the beds by the pool. There are signs stating no towels to be put on sun beds before 7am, but if you go down at 7 there are none available at the end where the sun stays the longest. These are being reserved for people that tip the pool guy, and are not always used, this is a bit unfair and really shouldn’t be allowed.
The location of the hotel is great. It’s a 45 minute walk to Marmaris and about the same to Icemeler. You can get a water taxi back if you want or the Dolmus, which is a bus & costs 30TL (around 66p) each.

Not long back and after selecting this holiday based on the location and reviews , I have got to say we were not really disappointed. The hotel is situated between Marmaris Marina and Icemelar , away from all the hustle and bustle of both towns , so we expected peace and quiet at night which we got but we were shocked to be awakened by people cleaning floors with industrial cleaners at 5am most mornings below our window and also the sound of cockerels across the road which was not the hotels fault but annoying all the same.. On to the food.....trying not to be too critical ....there was a great selection so not hard to find something to eat but at times the meat and fish dishes were too dry ( overcooked ). Great little snack bar was a godsend for many people . On to the drinks, the usual Effes beer on tap and international spirits .soft drinks and coffees all freely available 24/7.... not much else I can say.....cocktails available but some staff unable to make many. Entertainment was just your typical hotel acts ....same all over Europe....we tended to go out most nights so can't really comment too much. Biggest problem for myself was the room cleaning....we arrived through the night at 2 am on a Thursday morning and cleaners were in every day......we were in room 1113 and we can honestly say the floor and balcony were never swept and washed till the following Monday .also quite dusty on shelves...speaking to others I think it all depends on what cleaner you have but the boy that cleaned our room was clearly cutting corners. Overall I would say the hotel and staff are lovely but they have to watch their standards if advertising as 5 star....I would say a 4 at best.

This is our second year coming and we have stayed 10 days rather than 7 last year. Food is good and the curry is definitely one option to try. Pool is good size but there are limited sun beds although the upstairs area is better but less windy so gets hot. Staff are lovely and very attentive. There are lots of options for attractions that you can arrange through the hotel including travel transfer. It is literally across from the beach where they have their own private section with sunbeds. There is waiter service on the beach too. The sea is warm to swim in and once you get past the little pebbles it is smooth sand under the water. We visited the spa for a foam massage and it was amazing only £14 for 15 minutes which is good. There is a variety of entertainment each night including bingo, live acts and song quizzes. The hotel is very accessible and we would stay again for a third time. If you are wanting to go shopping into town or out for food I would get the buses rather than taxi as they are cheaper (30L per person) and very frequent. You can get the marmaris bus.

OK, so we went to this hotel with very high expectations as ranking one of the best in Marmaris. I've been to Turkey 6 times and have always loved it but I would not return to this hotel.
Hotel Location The location is good, lots of shops and restaurants and a nice walk along the seafront into the main part of Marmaris.
Rooms We paid for an upgrade to a sea front room, which was lovely. The room was very clean, though having a sliding toilet door does not allow much privacy - especially considering we were both ill whilst here. Fizzy drinks in the mini fridge is a bonus that I really liked. The air con is capped at a certain temperature (bizarre) meaning that in the sweltering July heat, the room was still warm. I've never known this anywhere.
Service I found the service at the hotel pretty shocking. Plates weren't cleared at meal times so I would be eating with dirty plates on the table still. Drinks were rarely asked and I'd have to flag a member of staff down in order to ask for drinks. Staff never made effort to talk to (some) hotel guests, which surprised me as I've always found Turkish people very friendly and welcoming - I did not feel this at this hotel. It was extremely clear that the returning guests and big tippers received preferential treatment, which was very disappointing as this holiday cost us over £2000 for the week and did not feel good value for money.
Food We really enjoyed the food and had no complaints - good variety and the only redeeming feature of the hotel.
Pool Dreadful. Absolutely tiny and not a single sunbed available. We came in July and even the Jetty was packed. Everyone is crammed in next to each other with no space or privacy - just awful. Beds are reserved from early by the lifeguards for favourite guests - it's very disappointing. Some days we would have to dump our bags in a corner somewhere and sit in the pool. The pool area is very slippy as well, meaning a few people fell whilst walking around.
Entertainment Really poor. We went out most nights and some of the other hotels had AMAZING entertainment, we were so jealous.
Overall The hotel was clean and food good. However, it was such poor value for money. The reviews are very misleading. Please know that I am not fussy in the slightest but this hotel was just so underwhelming. I was really disappointed and Marmaris as a whole was SO British, it felt like Blackpool abroad.

This was our first time in Turkey and we didn’t quite know what to expect but from arrival to departure we had the most amazing time, food and drinks were excellent and the hotel environment and decor was superb with great attention to detail. Marmaris is lovely, especially around the old town and marina and the Turkish hospitality is second to none.
The hotel is perfectly situated just off the beach midway between Marmaris and Icmeler with its own section of the beach and a private jetty. The standard of decor is exceptional and it’s immaculate throughout. Because it’s a relatively small hotel there were no queues for anything, we always found a seat in the dining room no matter what time we went down and, despite the early risers who selfishly put their towels out before sunrise, we always managed to find a couple of beds either by the pool, on the beach or on the jetty. We’re beach people and loved the amazing view of the bay from the jetty where we enjoyed first class waiter service with drinks served in glasses rather than plastic cups.
Food choice is always difficult for me because I’m both gluten free and dairy free (allergies to both) so I was a little concerned, but I needn’t have been because all main dishes were labelled with the ingredients (although there could’ve been hidden allergens because some were described as ‘meatball mix’), the salad bar was amazing, so fresh and varied, and the chargrilled meats and fish were a clear favourite for me. I didn’t expect to be able to eat the deserts so it wasn’t really a disappointment as there was a good selection of fruit, although sorbet or jelly would have been good.
There’s a huge afternoon cake bar which looked amazing but again there was nothing I could eat, perhaps a gluten free option could be added for when we come back next year please?
Drinks were superb quality, cocktails were freshly made, I loved the margaritas and bloody marys, and I even had piña coladas made with soy milk. With a 24 hour all exclusive bar with branded spirits what’s not to love.
The entertainment wasn’t always up our street but we spent nights out in Icmeler, Marmaris (around the marina), Roxy’s (hilarious) and up the road at No Name Bar so it would’ve been lost on us anyway. What did see on the nights we stayed in was good, especially the acrobatic dancers followed by the music quiz.
Our room was large and comfortable, we had a side sea view which overlooked the mountain side, with a mini bar that was restocked daily. Towels and bedding were changed frequently and the aircon worked perfectly. The only suggestion I’d make to cut down on single use plastic would be to fit refillable soap and shower gel dispensers.
Last but by no means least was the spa. We had a wonderful Turkish bath, massage, facial and bronzing oil for £60 each which was amazing, those ladies really know how to work it!
This was one of the best all inclusive hotels that we’ve been to, it’s so good we’re booking a return trip next year but for longer, a week just wasn’t enough!

Thanks to all the staff at Casa De Maris. Excellent price-quality ratio. We spent 8 amazing days at a hotel in Marmaris. The service was wonderful. Super animation, lots of games, activities, water aerobics, darts, zumba, super performances in the evening. There is a lot of different food. 2 ala carte restaurants to choose from (for those who stay at the hotel for at least 7 days). During breakfast, lunch and dinner, the waiters manage to bring drinks, clean and serve at lightning speed. A chic confectionery with a bunch of desserts, from about 12.00 to 16.30 additionally pizza, burgers, waffles, tacos are very tasty. Pizza fire. Despite the sanctions from the whole world, we felt how the Turkish staff loved the Russians. Most of the people staying at the hotel are British, there are few Russians, and few who speak Russian. But everyone is welcoming and very friendly. And therefore, I would really like to mention Dzhan, the main animator. He speaks excellent Russian, and in the evening animation he gives a lot of attention to the Russians, the first song in the evening is -2 Masha - Mom, I'm dancing. He is very kind, he will tell you and show you a lot of things. We loved him with all our hearts. He has 100 stars!!! The weather in Marmaris is beautiful, a hot day gives way to a fresh night, there is no feeling of stuffiness and exhaustion as in Antalya or Side. The sea is invigorating. The waiters bring drinks to the beach themselves, you don’t even need to get up from your sunbed. You just order and they bring it. The city center itself is 15-20 minutes away from the hotel by bus, running every 5 minutes. You can even walk there, but it will take longer than 40-60 minutes. There is a grand bazaar and a port with beautiful ships, and a street of night clubs and the old city, with a fortress, and old streets. We really enjoyed our trip. And even though there were few Russians, we were wearing vests, we saw each other from afar, we immediately got to know each other, and we still communicate. The hotel beach is in a beautiful bay and there is a turtle living in the hotel beach on the left side of the pier when looking towards the sea. We are pleased with our stay at Casa De Maris. Teşekkür ederim, sizi seviyoruz

We were pleased to leave this hotel for the first time and didn’t even want to go and extended it to another day. Everything was so beautiful. One review or two ✓Hotel overall very clean and tidy ✓The rooms are spotlessly cleaned daily linen change working sisters are very polite and tolerant ✓mini bar refreshing daily ✓the food was amazing every day other flavors were immense waitress a wonderful man chat with friends who are working on getting close. ✓Their waitstaff seemed to have been hand-picked with care. Everyone was very courteous. Especially Mr. Han was one of the most polite and most respectful waitstaff I've ever seen in my life. ✓I also appreciate the attention of the lady at the restaurant, so she thinks what you want to drink and you tell her. ✓The entertainment section of the hotel was very good and there were different entertainment foam parties at night there were other entertainment dance shows Turkish night karaoke night. We didn’t step through the hotel door thinking we’d be bored out ✓The pool and sea were beautiful too, beachside sand beachside drinks were available and they bring whatever you want I've been to many hotels so far and haven't seen any service and friendliness like this thanks to all the employees everything was amazing the only hotel I'd like to go back.

We were here for pretty much the last week of the season. We came home on Saturday, I think they close on Monday. The hotel is lovely, however it is looking a little tired. The rooms are plenty big enough and the beds are comfy. Had to ask for extra pillows but they brought them within 5 minutes of asking. Wifi signal very good, you could even pick it up from the beach. Housekeeping was really good and the room was cleaned daily, however the mini bar was never replenished and we had to chase this through housekeeping even though it wasn't her job. A couple of niggles that we had were: The quality of the food deteriorated as the week went on. You could tell there was a lot that had been reheated from the day before. The food was barely warm, the dishes the food is in doesn't keep it hot. The drinks were watered down, and some of the drinks were the cheap local equivalent. The malibu was very syrupy. The waiters were very attentive to the big tippers and barely acknowledged us. We like to tip at the end for good service. You shouldn't have to tip to get the good service. The entertainment wasn't very good, bingo not entertainment for everyone especially at £10 a strip. The entertainment staff lured people to the clubs and charge £10 but it is actually free to get in the club, they also tried to get people to pay £150 for a bottle of vodka in the club. A la carte restaurants were closed. If you aren't' offering everything advertised because it's the last week people should be advised of this when they book. Despite the niggles we did enjoy our stay

This hotel is in a great location, a 2 minute walk to a beautiful beach and a 30ish minute walk to Marmaris old town (which can also be reached via the local bus service!). The hotel itself is beautiful, very clean, and the staff go above and beyond! The beach staff are fabulous, making sure you are never without a drink and will bring your drink to your sunbed! The bar and restaurant staff inside the resort are brilliant too, they are polite, entertaining and really do make an effort to make your stay as memorable as it can be. There is a massive range of food available for breakfast, lunch and dinner, my only comment would be that the desserts are all made of similar sponge and fillings etc so they all taste quite similar. The only few downfalls we experienced were that only one key is given per room, the design of the shower area really wasn’t for us, the WiFi did dip in and out a little, and the rooms are quite noisy in that when breakfast is being served that morning, it was very loud inside the rooms (along with the lovely cockerels that live next door and like to sing out at around 5am!). Overall we were very pleased with the hotel and their staff, we would most definitely return! The above are just small things to consider if you’re thinking of booking a stay here. Thank you!
