Cook's Club Adakoy is set on the waterfront, looking across a bay towards Marmaris, on Turkey's Lycian coast. Set against a backdrop of forested hills, the hotel has a marina and its own beach. The port city of Marmaris is a short drive away. Here you'll find a bustling harbour and a stretch of beach running the length of the town. The hotel sits in gardens dotted with trees and leading down to the water. At the centre of the hotel is an outdoor pool that's surrounded by a sun terrace. There's a poolside bar that stays open late and, if you get hungry in the afternoon, there is a all day menu in place with light meals and snacks. Tea and coffee are served all day. Cook's Club Adakoy has a spa offering a selection of massage and beauty treatments. If you're keen to stay active you can enjoy a game of tennis. Alternatively you can try your hand at beach volleyball or table tennis. Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel's public areas.

Cook's Club Adakoy Marmaris garners high marks for its exceptional service, as the staff's friendliness and attentiveness consistently enhance guest experiences. The hotel's cleanliness and stylish rooms with modern amenities are repeatedly commended, though some guests suggest the lighting could be brighter. Its Bohemian charm is a hit, reinforced by the relaxing and lively tunes. While the hotel's secluded seaside location with a private beach is a standout feature, offering stunning views and sunsets, opinions on value vary, with some questioning the cost of food and beverages.

Me and my partner stayed here last week and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, it has a rustic/boho vibe but still feels very modern. The bedroom was spacious, the bed was super comfortable and we had a balcony with two sun loungers and a table and chairs with a view out over the garden and pool. While the lighting isn’t ikea levels of bright, when the sun shines in it is plenty, the lighting in the bathroom was brighter for doing my hair and make up. The lighting actually makes it perfect for sleeping at night.

The food was excellent! We didn’t have one bad meal, everything was so delicious! I am a fussy eater but there was something for me everyday. Everything is cooked fresh how you would like it. There is no buffet style which is a refreshing change from other all inclusive’s we have visited in the past. Drinks wise, cocktails aren’t included in all inclusive however they are around £10 each and are insane!! We didn’t hold back on them and weren’t shocked or upset with our bill at the end.

The probably the best thing about this hotel is Sevki the manager and the activities he runs everyday! Hiking, canoeing, stand up paddle boarding, fishing, yoga… they are amazing and free! We also did the evening boat cruise which was great. I would recommend you book them when you arrive as they go quickly. The hikes are medium-hard but so so worth it for the stunning views!

The staff at the hotel were fantastic! They really do go above and beyond.

We got a sunbed at the pool everyday and we didn’t have to get up that early. Just like any hotel people do save sunbeds for themselves. The beach is pebbled but it is beautiful to sit down on and the ducklings are very cute and entertaining!

The hotel is situated in a National park, which means there are bugs about but the views more than made up for it!

We would definitely go back to this hotel!

We have just returned from our first holiday together as a couple. Club Adaköy was the perfect location for it. We hadn’t realised it was so separate from Marmaris. There were no shops or restaurants on the island, so It was intimate and secluded yet to get to the hustle and bustle in Marmaris it’s just a 20 minute water taxi away costing £3 each (each way), best of both worlds. We really felt as if we chilled out, yes there were some sun bed battles going on but we didn’t join in. We were happy to get a bed by the warm, clear beautiful sea away from the pool and the loud eclectic mix of music. People watching was great, there was a real mixed bag of people, older couples who love a chat, lots of lovely gay couples, then Instagrammers posing away! We made some lovely friends who we are still in touch with. The water sports were brilliant and reasonably priced. We tried the jet skis, paddle boards and hired a speed boat for 2 hours to drive around the island, which we loved. The food was lovely and fresh and varied, we didn’t feel as if it was rationed but portions were small so we normally ordered a few. We had our temperature checked before every meal and there was hand sanitiser everywhere. The Tui rep Michelle was very approachable, we had a blast on the 4x4 sunset cruise, it was hilarious. We loved Bono restaurant in Marmaris, fish platter, steak and 4 alcoholic drinks each, just £55. If you want to explore the island, there is a very steep walk and some incredible caves to see and an observation point where the views are amazing. As most reviews point out, all inclusive didn’t mean everything was included. You do need to pay extra for some drinks and cocktails plus decent coffee and ice creams so be prepared for that. It would have also been good to have a text from Tui beforehand (their communication was great throughout) to advise that all soft furnishings have been removed from the rooms. It was a shock initially that the room looked so bare and like a hostel but if you’re going to travel during a pandemic it’s to expected, just would’ve been good to have a heads up! We also needed extra things like towels and extra pillow/sheet, the staff were very accommodating when asked.
All in all, we absolutely loved our stay here and we were genuinely sad to leave, thank you for the beautiful stay and amazing memories x ❤️

Just returned from a week at Club Adakoy. We were the first guests to arrive after lockdown and it was immediately clear that the hotel is going above and beyond to stay clean and safe for travellers. Everything was spotless, towels and bedding were changed every day, your temperature was taken at each meal time and face coverings were required in the public spaces. I understand the hotel has also just been independently audited and now holds a Safe Tourism Certificate. So, worry not about COVID-19 at this hotel.

Aside from that it was just lovely. The pool was a welcome break from the high 30 degree heat, the beach is a stone's throw away too. Food was incredible and the new cooked to order buzzer system works well. No more buffet!

The location is perfect if you're looking for a secret hideaway amongst the trees and mountains. Marmaris is a short water taxi away costing only around £3 each way and taking 15 mins or so. This service runs 0900 - 2400, with timetables in reception.

We will definitely be back. Thanks to Anil and his team at Club Adakoy.

Me and my partner have just came back from here. Let's go over the positives before the negatives.

Beautiful views
Friendly staff
Excellent food
Active loud area but also quiet area at the private beach
Resort and rooms are clean
Outside cinema nights
Private water taxi
Non judgemental (I'm fat and I wore a bikini not once was I judged - rare)
Private mini shop (not market)
Widely available hand sanitiser and masks
Temp checks
WiFi all over resort

Negative points
Majority of drinks are not included with the all inclusive
Travel to resort is very long 2-2.5 hours
Some staff don't understand English which makes communication extremely difficult
Ice cream is not included in all inclusive either
Some younger people 18-26 will cause a scene and will upset the quiet at the private beach where as the pool area is the party area
You're almost guaranteed not to get a sunbed at the pool as people wake at 5am to place towels down

Other thank these small negatives the place is very well kept and friendly and I would highly suggest if you're wanting a relaxing holiday go here you're guaranteed relaxation as long as the young ones behave.

I visited the hotel with my daughter.
First impressions was the setting is amazing.
Stunning pool on a small marina with views of the surrounding mountains.
Once we were taken to our room I was disappointed to note that the room was basically a poo colours cell.
We upgraded to a junior suit, which consisted of a king size bed in one room with no soft furnishings( I understand due to covid restrictions that cushions and soft furnishings are to be removed) but the room was exteemly bare with inadequate lighting. The lighting was so poor in the dungeon room (the small room next to the bedroom with a small bed) that we had to use the torch on our phone to get ready in the evening.
However on plus side was the view from the room was stunning.

The food was adequate but then we are fussy eaters so we tended to eat in Marmaris,in the evenings. You can catch the water bus over to Marmaris at a cost of £3 each way, we tended to catch the water taxi over and a taxi back for a cost of approximately £7.
The biggest down side for both of us was the hotel states all inclusive when in fact that is not the case.
We both rarely drink alcohol and were left having to pay for juice (you can have juice but it's cheap sugary squash).tea and coffees are included but latte and any other luxury coffee and teas including iced tea are £3 each, double the price of in the resort.
It's a,bit annoying that we could have alcohol for free although limited but had to pay for soft drinks appart from coke snd lemonade and speciality coffees.
It's certainly not the all inclusive that I have experienced at other hotels.

Most of the staff are friendly but there are one or two that seem as though they don't want to be there especially the young lad serving teas and coffees in the morning, I felt as though it was an inconvenience to serve me.

The bed situation is ridiculous around the pool.
People actually put their towels on the beds early hours of the morning so unless you want to get up at 5am each morning you have got no chance of getting a bed around the pool, having said that there are plenty of beds on the beach and jetty.
Would I visit agaun... if the all inclusive option was addressed and the rooms made slight more comfortable then yes in a heart beat.
Like I said the setting of the hotel blows your mind as it's so stunning.

Dear guest, Thank you for posting your review and sharing your opinions regarding your recent holiday. It is great to read that your overall impression of our hotel was amazing and you loved the location of the hotel. For our rooms, the wall colour was chosen by the architects which is compatible with the overall concept/decoration well before Covid-19, but the interior decorations had to be reduced in line with the Covid-19 precuations. Our restaurant caters to a wide range of cuisines, also specially prepared for selective guests seeking vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free, all of which are freshly cooked and receiving high appraisals. Our All-Inclusive details are accurately described in the TUI brochures and web sites, also stating which services are at extra cost. Thank you for all of your feedback and we do hope to welcome you back in the future. Best Regards,

The hotel is lovely to look at and has amazing views. The food is amazing and cooked really fresh, did not have a bad meal ever!
With covid everyone is required to wear masks when walking around the hotel and ordering drinks and food which is good. You don’t have to wear them when eating or around the pool/beach. There is sanitiser all around the hotel and signs promoting social distancing too.
Drinks are limited and cocktails aren’t including with all inclusive, you have to pay extra. We went in a group of 6 (3 couples) and the bar staff made a rule of only 2 drinks per person when ordering and were refusing to let us order for the group which is safer during Covid-19. There were a few occasions where bar staff were being difficult but then the manager rectified it and allowed us to order for the group which was better.
Room wise, we all paid the same but one room was particularly smaller than the others and there is NO storage (drawers) in the rooms at all. There is a small rack to hang up some clothes but it reality you will be living out of your suitcase for the holiday. We did move rooms which was loads bigger with help from our TUI rep Michelle who was great!
TIP: if you order sangria you will be charged for a cocktail but if you order red wine, orange and lemonade you can make it yourself for free!

Please read until the end as you need to be aware of one big flaw with the hotel which is otherwise perfect. I stayed here for 10 days with my partner from 30/08. Overall, we had the best holiday we have been on. Club Adakoy is in the most idyllic location and we felt completely at ease the whole time. We were all inclusive - the food was delicious and there were many drinks options. Snacks at 11pm were yummy too! However, the cocktails (which aren't included anyway) were not good and I would not recommend trying them! We both tried a few different ones and even the espresso martini was somehow messed up. The bar staff and waiters were very friendly, the restaurant staff less so but not to an unacceptable level. There is one gentleman who does give you an unpleasant look if you attend the restaurant with any (acceptable) amount of cleavage showing, however I do appreciate that there are different beliefs and views about dressing from different religions so I let this slide (however I did feel quite uncomfortable and preferred my partner to order food from him). But just something to be aware of if you are female and like to wear nice dresses at dinner time!

The big flaw of this hotel, which not only me and my partner experienced but at least 5 other couples that we spoke to, was when arriving at the hotel we were given a room of a lower standard than we had paid for. We had paid extra when booking to a have a double room with mountain view and balcony/terrace. When we had been taken to our room we were shocked to have the most standard room with neither a balcony, terrace or even any kind of view (it was just of some stairs.) We returned to reception and told them the issue, to which there was little help and were merely told the hotel was fully booked, all rooms were taken, and they would see if they could change our room the next day! There was no offer of compensation for being given a room that would have cost us less. We were later surprised when another couple at the hotel told us the hotel had given them a double room, when they had paid for a suite! The hotel had actually told this couple that the hotel was not fully booked, so we were lied to by reception staff about this issue. To give credit where it was due, when we returned to reception the following day after others had checked out, we were quickly shown to another room which did have a balcony and that was the end of the problem. But there was no attempt to offer us a refund of the money we had paid, nor even a complimentary glass of champagne as apology which would have been nice.

Therefore, if you stay here please make sure you receive a room which is to the standard you expected and nothing less. If you complain they will change things the following day. I think it must be a regular occurrence that they try to get away with putting people in cheaper rooms, after hearing of multiple other people having the same problem. It is not a good way to start your holiday, and I wanted to write this review so the hotel might see this is unacceptable and change their methods.

Overall, we had an absolutely amazing holiday and we would definitely return, as well as recommend it to others. The pool and private beach are just incredible. It is just a great shame that there is obviously a flaw in the way rooms are allocated to guests when checking in.

Dear 329brookef , It’s great to noted that in overall you have enjoyed your holiday at our resort. In this hard time, all our staff remain firmly focused on delivering the highest standards of friendly and efficient service. Also, we are very proud that we are welcoming many guests who have chosen to visit us again and again particularly in this unpresented atmosphere. We would like to clarify some of the issues that you have raised; - Unfortunately, cocktails are not included in the All-Inclusive board package/calculation since ingredients of our original signature cocktails contain expensive import drinks as well as fresh items from which compromise cannot be made. We are very sorry to hear that our signature cocktails did not appeal to your taste as they have been very popular with our guests according to high appraisals that we have been witnessing from their assessments. - We have extra ordinary hygiene standard in effect in our indoor restaurant area due to the Covid-19 restrictions at where all the fresh-cooking and preparations takes place at the seven stations in front of the guests, upon their order. Therefore, at the restaurant, entrance dress-code check takes place besides Covid-19 related checks in such extent that guests are not allowed to enter with swimwear or alike dressings. We believe your rejection was due to this reason but nothing else as you have thought of. - We have 2 type of standard double rooms; one with mountain/land view and the other with the side sea-view. Furthermore, all of our rooms have balcony or terrace. Also, due to special architecture and the layout of the hotel, none of our rooms are the same. Consequently, our room allocations are made according to the reservation sequence, but we are trying to please our guests to meet their room change requests in the same category, subject to room availability. However, we have to charge for upgrading if higher standard room type change is required. So, we are really sorry to note your misunderstanding or misinterpretation of our goodwill to assist our guest to make their holiday as pleasant as possible. We feel, it is fair to say that one should receive a standard/type of room which is paid for, but not desired for! We hope, we have clarified the points that made you uncomfortable with our above explanations. Please be assured that you are more than welcome to our resort and hoping to see you again. Best Regards,

I've been going to Adakoy for over 13 years. It has changed hands several times. Originally it was a Nielson Beach Club, and all the water sports were included in the price. Now it is run by Tui and the sports activities have disappeared. The cost is a lot lower than before though. The hotel has been extensively refurbished over the years and is at a very high standard. The food is a particular highlight. All freshly prepared and always something to tempt you. The staff are very friendly and they are taking Covid very seriously. Tables are sanitised as soon as guests leave, and masks must be work while ordering and collecting food. My only criticism is the music that they play by the pool from 10am. Its often nightclub music, and the DJs do like to have a very long backing track that's at such a level that it's impossible to ignore it. There is nowhere by the pool or on the beach where you can get away from it. I personally wouldn't go there again because of this, but it will suit some people. The music should be mentioned in the brochure. In the end I borrowed some noise cancelling headphones to try to get some peace.

I've been going to Turkey for many years and Club Adakoy is in my opinion one of the best.
For practical reasons, I needed to change my room. It was arranged in minutes with no fuss.
Every member of staff is polite and helpful with far more English speaking than I have encountered before. The rooms are great even with most furnishings removed to help to keep clean due to Covid-19, which is being dealt with in a efficient manner....temperature checks every time you have a meal, masks worn in all indoor communeral areas, hand gel everywhere you look to name a few.
These precautions are not spoiling my holiday. I find it reassuring that the hotel is doing all it can without restricting their customers, so it's welcome and commendable.
Food is fantastic for a all-inclusive! I've been to 5 star hotels that Adakoy beats hands down. Only one small point ...if you need to eat very late it is not so good, but you can't expect all freshly prepared food at that time of night.
I'm there now, so will I be back? Definitely! (If there's any holiday company's still in operating after Covid)

My boyfriend and I booked this hotel very last minute after several cancelled holidays and almost giving up on travel in 2020. Thank goodness we didn’t. From start to finish our experience at Club Adakoy was nothing short of perfect.

Where do I even begin? The hotel grounds and views were absolutely breathtaking, you could have been anywhere in the world and every day waking up there felt like a dream.

All of the staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough to help with anything you needed. In regards to Covid, they followed all the guidelines, the staff wore masks at all times, there was hand sanitizer placed on each table, the restaurant was fogged down after each meal, your temperature was checked each time you entered the restaurant and there was regularly cleaning.

I have never been on an all inclusive holiday before so I was a little apprehensive about the food however my mind was instantly put at ease. Everything was made to order and for each meal time there were various choices - all absolutely delicious and nothing was repeated in the 10 days that we were there!

The hotel itself isn’t in walking distance of anything but to me, this is why it was such a beautiful experience. The hotel do offer a water taxi over to Marmaris (20 min journey and £3pp each way) where there are some beautiful restaurant and bars.

I could go on forever about how much I loved this hotel but I will stop now. Thank you Club Adakoy for such a memorable experience, we really hope to visit again one day.

Hi, our resort is equipped with ramps for guests with limited mobility to easily access the entire resort. We also have adapted guest rooms for their accommodation needs. We have various room types at different locations of the resort.

There is nothing by the hotel at all. But the night life gets very loud and animated there each night. That's not our thing so we went to bed before it started, so I cannot comment on what it was like. Some nights they show a movie on the beach at around 9.30pm before the music starts. There are many many bars across the water. Again, no first hand experience of them late at night but I imagine there is no shortage of vibrant energy there.

I went there solo also, it depends on what format of vacation you expect. If you want to spend quality time with yourself, with the sea and nature - this hotel is suitable for this. It seemed to me that there were few solo travellers in the hotel, mostly couples.
