Efe Hotel is a small friendly place, brilliantly situated to walk to the numerous restaurants. The rooms are simple & compact, not that you'll spend much time in them, given the AMAZING swimming pool and pretty gardens. Every member of staff is helpful and the whole place was just a joy. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing holiday, whether it's for a couple of weeks or a couple of days. this hotel is so well placed and convenient, whatever your needs.

Stayed here for 2 nights after a 2 week stay in Hisarönü and so pleased we picked this hotel. Location is great, only a few minutes walk to shops, restaurants and the harbour. The rooms are immaculately clean, the bed was really comfy and towels are changed daily. The staff very friendly and service was second to none. The pool was spotless and huge, the gardens so well kept and just beautiful. Breakfast was Covid friendly and saw us through until dinner which we had in one of the many stunning restaurants in Gocek. If you’re looking to stay in this area then this hotel is a must, we will definitely return.

Flying visit for 3 nights to a town we know well. First time here, and would heartily recommend it. Very clean, good food (only had breakfasts), and so very friendly, from maids to the owner. Nothing is too much bother. Adapted an extremely good practice as a workaround to the pre-COVID buffet breakfast, leaving you well nourished for the rest of the day. Would have no qualms staying here next time.

I made a booking over 4 months ago for three family rooms for one night in August this year, and received an email confirmation for each room booked. After a number of unanswered mails to them in the past month wanting to reconfirm our arrival time, I received a mail informing me that they were subsequently over booked and had cancelled my reservation. They now do not answer my mails. This hotel does not act in an ethical manner, and they cannot be trusted.

We are a couple who have stayed in Gocek many times. The Efe hotel is warm, friendly, efficient, clean, good value for money and quite simply a relaxing and lovely place to be. The breakfast served on the terrace is delicious and there is a good choice. We hadn't planned to stay here. We left another hotel across the road and just turned up at the Efe early morning. They did their best to make us feel immediately at home and we stayed feeling that way until we left a week later. Highly recommended accommodation. Clean and quiet with a lovely pool. The hotel is within easy walking distance to the marina. Beautiful! Thank you to all at the Efe who made our stay just lovely.

We stayed there twice in August. Its close to Dalaman airport so convenient if you arrive late. The staff are very friendly, the rooms immaculately clean and it is very centrally located if you want to go into the town or the Sunday market(about 2m walk). The pool is big, well maintained fantastic, our kids really enjoyed it. The breakfast is good. Its very easy to find...whilst its not rated as 5 star, I think the service, location and pool give you 5 star service at 2 star prices. Its just a great, friendly place.

We spent one night here after a late flight from Manchester to Dalaman. Taxi 35 TL Staff are very friendly, room was clean, comfy and quiet. Feels like a family home rather than a hotel. Good choice at breakfast, lovely swimming pool and pleasant gardens, very convenient for the town centre and promenade and Marina. Plenty of places to eat and quite upmarket town. We were able to leave our luggage after breakfast and told we could use the pool and grounds until our son met us at 8pm. He works in Ankara so we had to wait til he flew in! Would happily stay here again and especially after a late flight. Lots to see and do in the area. We visited Fethiye, Oludeniz and Dalyan. Had a great week. plenty of water sports, gulet trips etc and near the Lycain way and some interesting carved tombs in the rocks. Dalyan and the river trip down to turtle beach are worth it. We also visited a pomegranate farm and an abandoned village. Traffic or should I say Turkish drivers are a bit mad!

We stayed here for 1 night prior to going sailing for 1 week and then again for 1 more night on our return. After a week on a yacht this was the perfect place to "re-group", have a real shower and totally relax before heading off again. We should have stayed 2 nights! The Manager and his staff are great people. The hotel is very clean and well managed but best of all is the pool and outdoor facilities - so relaxing. Gocek is also a fantastic place, very smart, beautiful harbour and plenty of places to eat; the hotel is a 5 minute walk from the harbour.

This is a wonderful find and we will most certainly return in the future…………..
We stayed for the last 2 weeks in June in a suite which was comfortable and air conditioned. The Manager and staff just can’t do enough for you. This is only rated as a 2 Star hotel but the service is 4 Star as are many of the other little touches.
Breakfast is traditional Turkish fayre, plentiful and well presented with fabulous fresh squeezed orange juice – and the bonus of being available from 0730 until 1130; allowing for both early and late starts to your days.
A good local and international menu is available for lunch and dinner. We enjoyed a few lunches but preferred to select from the many excellent restaurants overlooking the fabulous marina for our evening meals – as did most other guests during the time we were there.
The beautiful gardens and half size Olympic pool really make this hotel. Most of the time we were there the pool area was quiet as only a few couples were in the hotel. Occasionally we were joined by families but there is plenty of room for everyone to enjoy the sun and the shade. Most afternoons the staff brought us chilled fresh fruit which was refreshing as it was very hot!
We had a warm welcome although we arrived quite late - and when we left the manager and staff lined up to say goodbye in their charming traditional Turkish way.
Although the Efe Hotel is situated away from the town centre, the area is peaceful and it only takes 5 minutes to walk to the main street and the marina.
Gocek is a small sophisticated town aimed mainly at the yachting fraternity. Eating out is good with plenty of options but is not as cheap as we were expecting. While we were there we chartered a 27ft sailing boat for a few days from Budget Sailing based in the main square. There is great sailing to be enjoyed in the Bay of Fethiye and beyond. Lots of guests seem to use the Efe Hotel as a base before and after their sailing trip.
Whilst there, we also enjoyed a day on the hotel’s Gulet – La Nonna which was a wonderful experience and a great introduction to Gulet sailing.
As we said at the start of this review we will definitely be back.

Once again we had the delight of spending a couple of days at the Efe before boarding our gulet. The hopitality was as usual exceptional. On arrival we were given a very spacious room, with air con. Around the pool in the afternoon we were treated to wonderful frozen grape kebabs. Whether you are staying for a couple of days or longer, then the Efe suits all needs. Looking forward to returning next year.
