Stayed in August - not the best month to visit as the daytime heat prevents day long explorations of the landscape surrounding the hotel. But what an amazing landscape. It is one of the most beautiful places I have ever walked and I would love to return in a more temperate month and spend my days tramping the surrounding hills...

This lighthouse is probably not to everyone's taste, but if you are searching for a bit of relaxation away from it all and have an open mind as to what to expect, then you could have an amazing time, as we did. The rooms are decently sized and all are beautifully presented. The whole place is very rustic and full...

Yedi is not for everyone - if you like 4 & 5 Star hotels, plush carpets, marble bathrooms & corporate anonymity, chances are you won't like Yedi. You won't even like getting there: a metalled road gives way to an unmade road that heads into the mountains and then leads-out over a rocky escarpment along a rutted track. The Lighthouse...

Let's be honest, aren't we all looking for somewhere different with a fantastic location that's small, intimate, friendly with fantastic food and service. That's what you get from Yediburunlar Lighthouse. But don't forget that here, there's no front of house/ backroom, kitchen separation because you're right in there with your fellow guests. And you know what! Most of us know...

I could echo what other reviewers have said about the excellent food, views, hospitality all of which I totaly agree with, however I would also add a few extras which so far haven't been mentioned. Firstly a big thanks to the helpers that Leon has. On our visit Semra was away and I believe most of the food was cooked...

We stayed here in June 2009 and had a fantastic time. We were a little put off to start with when we found out it was mainly vegetarian, but we were delighted with the food, which included fish and meat during the week, and the veggie stuff wasnt bad either! The views are stunning, the owners Leon and Semra are...

We visited Yediburunlar during the third week of June 2009. Yediburular sits 600 metres above sea level on the hillside with stunning views, overlooking the sea and adjacent hills at the end of a track near the tiny village of Gey. Amazing veggie cooking with meat and fish twice to suit non-veggies. Lunches extra but great choices of good food....

We sepnt a week there in early June, it is very very isolated so if you want to eat out or much nightlife then it isn't the place for you, however the food there is incredible, mostly veggie which worried me as I am quite a big meat eater but it is all of such a good standard you wont...

We absolutely loved our holiday at the lighthouse, it has been said elsewhere that "...it is similar to visiting a private house where hospitality is offered," which sums it up perfectly. It has a wonderful rustic charm, every meal was a culinary delight. Leon and Semra's welcome was such that it almost felt like staying with friends, although we never...
