Dervish Otel is 200-year-old renovated Ottoman house. This cosy hotel is located in the city centre of Konya and 3 minutes walk from the Mevlana museum and the Bazaars of Konya. It offers a large garden and comfortable rooms with air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. With matching curtains and bed linens, the rooms of Dervish Hotel are elegantly decorated with traditional furnishings. All rooms have private bathroom and LCD TV with satellite channels. Each morning, an open buffet breakfast is served in the dining room of the hotel. Konya Airport is 15 km from the hotel. We have 7 rooms, free parking and traditional Konya Garden. In the same spirit as in a traditional Turkish home, we kindly ask our guests to take off their shoes before entering. We provide slippers for the whole stay. This way, we can preserve the atmosphere of a traditional Konya home. Our hotel is the only hotel in Konya with a garden. Any questions about Dervish Otel are welcome.
It has been a very unique experience for me , felt like staying in a friends or a relatives’ house rather then a hotel. Cleanliness , friendly stuff but most of all ıf you expreience a famous Turkish hospitality this hotel is the address.

Gorgeous rooms with stunning carpets and furniture, perfectly clean bathroom, comfortable beds. But the main advantage of this place is its humanity and simplicity. Here you will remember the meaning of being human, and redefine the value of warmth, friendliness, rest, and marvel. Sing with the birds in the flourished garden, venture in the courtyard to have deep conversations with Muammer and his family, and if you like carpets, they have the finest ones, handmade, at affordable prices, each having a story to tell. Don't wait for too long, book this hotel.

This was the most pleasant hotel I stayed in during my last visit to Turkiye. It's high quality in every way, and quiet, with a large clean room and bathroom, and the breakfast was great. It had much more character and colour than the hotels I stayed in elsewhere. The Manager, Muammer, was very helpful and welcoming, and pointed the way to good nearby restaurants. I'll be staying here on my next visit.

My wife and I agree that Konya Dervish Hotel was our favorite stay during a two-week trip in Turkey. Owned by two brothers who both speak excellent English, the place felt warm from the moment we arrived. The spacious room had homey touches. The breakfast spread was a work of art. And the manager could not have been nicer, making us a reservation at an incredible nearby restaurant and guiding us beyond the nearby sights to a local fruit bizarre. Highly recommended!

We stayed here for three nights last weekend. The hotel is created out of a beautiful 200-year old house with a relaxing garden in a central but quiet position in the lovely city of Konya. The rooms are large, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfast is very generous and has a wide range of local produce including the delicious mouldy cheese which is a speciality of the area. The owner, Momed, is incredibly kind and helpful and very knowledgeable about the city. He arranged for his brother, Mehmet, to take us to Catalhoyuk at a very reasonable price and we discovered lots about their upbringing in the Tarsus Mountains. Mehmet is also a well-known local kilim dealer and produces kilims to traditional designs using natural dyes and local weavers. The brothers are both honest and trustworthy and they charge reasonable prices for the services and rugs that they offer. The real beauty of staying at the Konya Dervish Hotel is that you get to meet the owners who can answer all your questions about Turkey and tell you about their life - which is, after all, the real reason for travelling. You couldn't wish for kinder and more generous hosts than the owners of this hotel. If you are interested in buying a kilim, do read the story in the hotel's pamphlet about the very special rugs that they produced for a castle in Scotland - it will reassure you that you are dealing with one of the most reputable dealers in Turkey. Konya is a lovely city with some great sights and the Dervish Hotel is the best hotel in the city at a very reasonable rice.…

Konya Dervish Otel is a beautiful hotel with large rooms, comfy beds and decorated with the most beautiful rugs. It's in a great location, very close to Mevlana and the cultural centre where there is a whirling dervish ritual every Saturday. Muammer was so welcoming and helpful. He gave us great recommendations for local food and culture. We had an early morning bus and he booked a cab and sent us off with breakfast for the journey. Can't recommend this hotel enough!

Booked the hotel after recommendation and we were all not disappointed. The hotel is stunning and very traditional. The owner is great and speaks good English. The rooms are a good size with en-suite bathrooms. All well appointed and everything was very clean. Carpets are everywhere but not surprising as there is a carpet shop in the grounds. The hotel is situated in the old part of Konya and is near the museums. Lots of good shops and cafes within 5 mins walking. All in all a must stay

The area around the hotel is currently being redeveloped making the hotel stand out. It is within its own walls which are locked and has a parking area to the rear. There is a plunge pool in the pretty garden for guests to use along with seating to enjoy the wonderful greenery amidst the dust and rubble outside the hotel wall. The rooms are very traditional with wooden ceilings, beautiful rugs and welcoming feel. Breakfast buffet compiles of various cheeses, melons, bread, jams, pickles, cereals, tea and coffee. There is no restaurant but plenty locally within walking distance. It's good to be able to park your car within the hotel compound knowing it is secure. There is no lift. The staff are amazing. SO friendly and welcoming. Shoes are left in the reception area whilst you wear slippers provided. The decor is as you would expect and nothing like a modern, standard hotel. The rooms are very clean as are the bathrooms. Mehmet was able to suggest many places to visit and is very knowledgeable about the area and local transport which is SO helpful. This is truly a gem of an hotel and would recommend it to anyone looking for the traditional feel of a family run, boutique hotel in Konya. We wish Mehmet, his family and staff the very best of luck for the future and look forward to returning one day.…

Why you should come here: Location: 5 min walk to Mevlana hotel. 15 min walk to Aladdin Meydan (city centre) Minibuses called Dolmeces come here every 10 minutes as well so it’s a convenient location for public transport. Hospitality: the place is family owned and the owner is very friendly and willing to help. Breakfast buffet: the buffet has a enormous selection of food and I believe that it is also vegan friendly as well, as there was many fruits, as well as tahini and assortments of jams and even dried figs in oil. If you’re a vegan that is okay with honey, the tahini and honey on bread was to die for. Cleanliness: a very clean hotel. Has books on Sufism and Rumi as well!! This was an amazing hotel. Located 2-5 minute walk from Mevlana Museum. The location is safe as well. Not a busy street but very close to shops and the city, with only 5 minute walk. The result is that it’s a very calm place. This hotel is the last place in Konya with a garden! The hotel itself is like a cultural experience because it is very traditional. I think it would be a lot better to come here than to a normal, modern hotel that you can find anywhere else in the world. When I went to the hotel, it felt like home and the owner was very warm like family. Sitting in the garden, it’s very peaceful compared to the busy city centre, with birds and butterflies and bees. The hospitality is impressive. When I arrive they immediately gave me a map and recommended a nearby restaurant. Also because I was sick, the owner made me a lemon drink as well. It’s a family owned place, so please come and support local small businesses!…

Highly recommend staying here if you’re in Konya. Super-helpful, very friendly owner, who went over and above to help me sort out the bus back to Antalya! Very delicious breakfast. Excellent location. Well appointed, cozy rooms and high speed wifi too!
