Highly recommend staying here if you’re in Konya. Super-helpful, very friendly owner, who went over and above to help me sort out the bus back to Antalya! Very delicious breakfast. Excellent location. Well appointed, cozy rooms and high speed wifi too!

Arrival in this authentic Turkish town, the surroundings at first were bewildering. Once we entered in the Dervish Hotel, we felt that we were in the best of hands and in a beautiful home-like dwelling, decorated with exquisite taste. Mehmet, the owner as well as his staff, made our several days some of the best that we’ve had during all our travels in this amazing country. We couldn’t have felt more welcome and comfortable at the Dervish. The cultural richness and beauty of Konya was revealed (thanks to Mehmet’s guidance as well as a tour of the ancient site Kilistra) and I cannot stress how kind the staff and the people were to us. The breakfast was copious and heavenly. One of the finest places to purchase kilim carpets and accessories as well 😉 We hope to return!

The Dervish Hotel is lovely in so many ways. Firstly, it is a repurposed old building meaning that there are lots of the sort of local touches that you don’t get in new or chain hotels. The building has a courtyard out the front that is covered with hand knotted rugs and a garden with a shaded seating area under a grape arbor. Inside the building the wooden floors are also covered with rugs. There is of course no lift but the owner pro-actively carried my very heavy bag up the stairs. My room was spacious with a queen and a twin bed. It was simply but adequately furnished. The bathroom was small but with a good size shower alcove. There was a good A/C unit which was needed at night in the 30oC+ climate and the wifi was reliable. A fairly standard Turkish breakfast was provided in the basement dining room. The owner apologized for the paucity of the breakfast on account of my being the only guest in the middle of the Covid-19 crisis. It was, however, perfectly adequate. The hotel was also very quiet, which is no unexpected with mine being the only occupied room and the street outside also pretty deserted on account of the Eid holiday. The hotel is a convenient 5 minute’s walk from the main square and the Mevlana museum. The most outstanding feature of all was the helpful and interesting English-speaking owner. I will return to Konya in the future and would not consider staying anywhere else if there is a room available at the Dervish Hotel.

We stayed at the Dervish Hotel for 3 nights. It's a lovely hotel, clean, stylish, quiet. The breakfast was excellent, and there is a garden to enjoy too. The manager was charming and so helpful in making the best of our visit to Konya. I really recommend it!

We stayed at Konya Dervish Otel for 3 nights in September 2019. The hotel is situated very close to all worth to visit places such as Mevlana Museum, Mevlana Cultural Center , Sultan Selim Mosque , Allaaddin Mosque etc. Also a lot of restaurants are in a walking distance from the hotel. The room was quite large with a very nice garden view and the bathroom was also very large and very clean. A small fridge , some more space for storing the clothes and a safebox might add to the room experience. Breakfast with local products ,simple and in good quantities and variety. Very important to mention that people who run this hotel are very friendly/warm and willing to provide valuable guidance to Konya visitors. If we are to visit Konya again Dervish Hotel will be our first choice to stay
