I was incredibly impressed with the team at Renaissance Izmir. They were very professional, courteous and hospitable. I was celebrating my mother's birthday and they provided a wonderful cake with a beautiful and sincere message. We had a beautiful suite on the top floor. We enjoyed the variety in the breakfast and the unique styling of the hotel. The location was also excellent as it was no more than a 2 minute walk to the Aegean sea and there were restaurants within a very close proximity. Had a great time, thank you Volcan and team for the beautiful stay.
Having stayed before at all Marriott and Hilton properties in Izmir, I was impressed with the quality of the Renaissance. Very supportive staff, with a special thanks to Oytun Cetin for arranging a nice quiet room for me. The room was large, had a good bed and shower, and was sound proof. Breakfast was good, with friendly staff and a nice selection. Central location was convenient. This is one of those kind of hotels that runs a smoothless operation. Would certainly stay there again.
It was a good hotel, although the corridors are a bit dim, as well as there is some bad smell in the corridors. However, the rooms are spacious and clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The Skyfire restaurant had a good variety of choices of food. The check-in & check-out processes were very smooth. The hotel location itself is good overlooking the road and very close to sea side walks. Overall pleasant experience.
2 days stay for business. Large room with with nice furnishing and very good bed. Very well kept. The hotel itself is a bit "old", but both the lobby bar and the executive club lounge were good. Breakfast was also very good, and all staff were attentive and friendly. The disappointment was the spa. The entire spa facility looked dated and was not what I expect from a spa at a 5 star hotel. The 30 min Turkish bath I took was closer to 20 minutes, and was not at all good compared to what I have experienced before. Staff through was polite and helpful. I would stay again, but avoid the spa.
Stayed since opening in 2013 numerous times. In total spent about 75 nights in this property First years was great staff and service but the last 2 years it's aging. Most popular name for the staff is Trainee which sums up the service, knowledge of bonvoy programm and interaction with guests. More broken equipment in the gym which can be easily fixed (for a 5 star property). Menu in skyfire hasn't changed in years and outside starts to look dirty. One positive point, there is a dedicated lounge now for elite members. If you go to izmir it's an OK place to stay but there are better options now for this money and better service.
We visited this hotel in September 2021 while on holiday. The Renaissance is a beautiful hotel located in downtown Izmir, just minutes walk from the seaside promenade and dozens of fantastic restaurants -- perfect for sunset dinners. The hotel is clean, updated, and the rooms are spacious. The Lounge facilities provide a beautiful view of city life, and the evening reception has tasty local dishes, and (too much) wonderful Baklava. Hotel staff are vey attentive and helpful. Bar and restaurant facilities are worthy, and the breakfast service fresh, tasty, and very local. Finally, the Spa and Hammam facilities were a highlight of our entire trip! With hundreds of hotel room nights each year, globally, I'm pretty jaded: I'll go back to this hotel in a heartbeat!
Booked 2 nights a club room which I would say it was a good choice. Check in/out process was smooth and staff were helpful. Parking is behind the hotel but it’s free via valet in front of the hotel.Room was grand in terms of size with nice layout of bed/seating/cupboard areas and comfortable. Room clean and have good amenities including tea/coffee (capsule) maker and free bottled water. Also iron /board. Bathroom layout is amazing good shower pressure (shower rain) and within Turkish hammam setting and a separate toilet/ washing basin area. Breakfast spread and quality is good and you can set either out or in . Good fresh coffee and the staff are helpful and courteous. Visited the SPA also good not used because of time. Club lounge on the ground floor seating and food worth trying. All in all our stay was enjoyable. Thanks…
nothing to worry about during your stay. All taken care of by the front desj and all staff. one of the best location close to kordon street and seaside. hygiene and clean. nice turkish breakfast. comfortable bed.
I stayed here for five days and it was great stay. Room,in room dining, facilities, location, service, and restaurant were perfect. Thank you Mr.OYTUN CETIN for the great choice for rooms and hospitality. I highly recommend this luxurious hotel.
I would like to start saying that I was in four points by Sheraton and Hilton garden in Izmir in July 2021 and they absolutely can’t be compared with Renaissance. The staff is very professional, they are offering a valet parking, is definitely covid secure and is a very very good city hotel in the center of Izmir. The breakfast is high quality and the rooms are very spacious and very clean. We had club rooms so we also had included soft drinks all day long and from 17:30 to 19:30 there was in a space only for the club rooms alcohol and food let’s say a kind of “ aperitif time - aperitivo “. I was very satisfied by the location, by the quality and by the professionally way the staff worked.
