With the covid virus increasing so temperature checks taken, no bame or contact details taken. The upper level for camping was just bare earth and untidy with used masks and cigarette ends about. Rubbish bin not emptied and broken chairs. There was some artificial grass, but not in a good state. On the main lower level there was good grass and shade, but again we could not pitch tents just anywhere as they needed space for outside dineds using tge restaurant barbecues. Men's toilet and shower area needed a good cleaning, as was the ladies, although I did not check them! During the 4 night stay the tge toilet and shower areas were not cleaned and people had to ask for hand towels and toilet paper. Bins overflowing in the toilets with used paper is not hygienic. Electric light in one shower had a broken cover sitting on the side - a very dangerous state of affairs. Food seemed to be OK, but a little concerned to see that plates and containers of ketchup and mayonnaise were left outside on the table in full sun for several hours after people had left the table. The price is good, but staff and management should be doing more to maintain and clean the property. There was a common fridge available for customers, unfortunately there was no mention of a 10TL daily charge to use it! This good be a nasty shock for people on a tight budget. A simple sign to state the fact would be more than adequate.…
We went with 20 friends to Tepe camping and we rented a chalet because I had a back problem. The campsite is in a great location with stunning views across the valley. Our friends had 7 tents and 3 other couples had chalets too. the camping area was good nice and grassy with hook up to electric. Our chalets were on the edge of the camping area and very central to all that was going on. The breakfast was good and the owner gave us complimentary chips on the last day. The staff were cheerful. The reason i have given 2 stars is because of the state of the chalets. The floors were tiled and ingrained with dirt around the wardrobe legs was actual dirt build up the top of the wardrobe was thick with dirt and dust and dead insects we noticed this because the bed was on a plinth so we were above the top of the wardrobe, three insects crawled out from under the bed they were slow moving large and black and curled into a ball when my husband picked them up with tissue to get rid of them, the base of the beds were badly stained although the sheets and pillowcases and towels were clean, the windows behind the curtains were covered in cobwebs the windows above the beds were thick with dust and cobwebs the bathroom grouting was black with dirt one chalet had a crack so big in the wall you could see light through it, bins in the bathroom were not emptied at all. There was a creature in the roof that scurried around all night above our ceiling. We didnt use the outside showers or toilets but they were left without toilet paper and were not cleaned first thing in the morning until we complained and were generally unclean. It wouldnt take much for this team of 3 people to clean the chalets properly actually they need complete refurbishing. I would not stay in this chalet again I was glad to leave as I couldnt bear the uncleanliness any more. With a small investment these chalets could be stunning , update the furniture and add a kitchen area and fridge and you could double the price. At time of paying the bill customers were told there was a charge of 10 lira per day to use the fridge, customers should be informed of this on the website or up front, not when they are paying their bill…
Definitely one of the best campsites I've seen in Turkey. The views are amazing, the atmosphere very peaceful and friendly and the amenities are great. Everything you need for a perfect camp! We stopped over for one night with our motorhome before visiting Pamukkale and were not disappointed. The kids were happy playing in the play area and pool while we enjoyed a drink watching the spectacular sunset over the hills. The showers were clean and there was plenty of hot water. The management obviously care about giving good service and it shows. From the minute we arrived to when we left they were very attentive and helpful. It was so nice to find a campsite that I would say was truly international standard after some not so great experiences in Turkey.
This was the perfect camp site: flat soft grass, great views, big swimming pool, lovely deck with views, good hot water. I loved this spot. There was no wifi at my time of staying, and sometimes people need it, so check beforehand. It is a bit out of the way, but worth the drive for its lovely peace and quiet and incredible scenery
We followed a sign in the middle of the night. Up and up the mountain we went. We arrived and were greeted with tea. The grass was perfect. The stars were shining. The views were breathtaking. The dinner delicious.
This is the best campsite we've encountered after a week of camping in Turkey. A friendly family runs the business, and has a very large area for camping. We camped right on the edge of the hill and had a fantastic view. It also has a pool and drinks etc. Downside is it is quite a drive up a big hill so a car or taxi is required, and also they don't have wifi given the location. However we found it was worth it for the view we woke up to.
Clean location with grass space for campers next to Pamukkale. Campsite owner is nice and helping - he even cooked us dinner for a nice price. In May 2014 we paid €12.5 per night for a family and car with a carvan. There's no WiFi and you can eat every day in the restaurant with the owner :-)
Hi there, my impression of Tepe Camping: amazing service, helpful & nice people, english speaking, great pool, amazing view, barbecue food, you can bring your own food as well, very close to Pamukkale In any case, I would go there again!
