Four of us stayed at Kayakapi during the Easter long weekend. Right from the booking, it was a smooth and amazing experience. The travel agency manager, Nihal, was very helpful in getting our itinerary in place, starting with the airport transfers, hot air balloon ride, day tours etc. She was very patient with our queries and responded promptly. During the stay, we found the hotel staff to be very hospitable. The property itself is amazing, located at a hill, with authentic cave rooms with all amenities possible. We would love to return to the property.

Having spent thousands of nights in hotels, we can say with confidence that this was one of the most pleasantly memorable experiences we have had. The exquisite marriage of the authentic soul of the area with modern appointments make this a holiday we will not forget. The anticipatory service was delivered at every turn in a warm and genial manner and no element was overlooked. At every turn details such as heated floors and an in room Hamam (the blueprint for a future home renovation project) left us refreshed and relaxed.

This hotel exudes a real homely feeling offering 44 distinctly unique rooms. Spacious in size with separate sleeping, lounge and massive bathrooms and external terrace areas. The beds were comfy and it was peaceful in the evenings. We loved the breakfasts, offering a great selection of local and international breakfast favourites. The dinner selection was great as well especially their pizzas, pasta, and my favourite traditional Turkish rice pudding. The staff were all sincere, friendly and helpful. And the traditional Turkish service was exceptional all the time. We stayed in room 107, and our Friends in room 304, which had a great layout and a bigger terrace with better views than our room. We also enjoyed relaxing massages and the buggy service was available around the clock ⏰ especially early for our hot air balloon 🎈 trip. The pool looked inviting with great views over the valley. This hotel is worthy of visiting and staying in. Hats off to all the staff and management for providing us with such a unique, friendly service.

This is a great hotel concept. Beautiful bedroom with cave swimming pool. Hotel staff are very efficient, friendly and help in any way they can. Day tour of Cappadocia was with Melika who was 1000% amazing with beautiful English and superb local knowledge. Mr Shon (not sure how to spell) our driver was really helpful and friendly.

Amazing hotel! Best scenic view of Kapadokya. The rooms have a Turkish Bath that can transform into a steam room. The shower is not a stall, but an entire room with a rain/monsoon-shower head. The floors are heated throughout the apartment, and the toilet comes with a built-in bidet! The bed and the pillows were firm, but yet comfortable and supportive for the back and neck. The restaurant breakfast and dinner consisted of excellent food and beverages! The staff were 100 percent courteous and professional! Overall, great experience! Would recommend any day; this was my second trip to Kapadokya, and I wished that I would have stayed at this hotel during the first trip!

Views were spectacular, service was always top notch, food was great, and rooms very nice. We also had a great massage but missed suing the pool and gym. Would highly recommend as a bar for exploring Cappadocia. Only nitpick would be to make the writing on the shampoo bottles a bit bigger, and to seal the authentic rock in shower ceiling as it can peel if shower on for long time.

We spent three nights on Kayakapi Premium Caves, overall we had a good experience but wouldn’t consider it a 5-star stay. The caves are impressive, but are very dusty… so if you have any allergies you’ll have a bad time. Food and staff are great and friendly (would highly recommend the 8-course menu). The biggest disappointment was that they don’t put effort on pleasing your requests, you’ll get treated as the ‘kind policy’ suggests. Overall a good experience, but not enough for a 5-star review.

This is the kind of hotel you dream of being lucky enough to visit one day… somewhere so beautiful and unique that you will always remember it as one of your top travel experiences EVER! We started sending pictures to friends and family as soon as we arrived at the hotel. Everyone had to ask if the background in the pictures was real. Yes, it is that beautiful. No, you will never forget this special place. We had always wanted to sleep in a cave hotel. Taking our twin girls with us on the experience made it even better! the cave rooms were truly out of this world. We choose room #307 for our family of 4 and it was perfect! The outdoor space and that view, we couldn’t have loved it more. There was this large comfy swing chair on our terrace, it overlooked the most beautiful landscape, it was especially beautiful at sunrise and sunset. We just loved seeing our two little girls so happily swinging in paradise. The pool area of the hotel was amazing. We mostly had it all to ourselves during our stay. It was the perfect place to relax in every day in between outings. The setting was really special. The pool side service was top notch. The views were unbelievable. Dinners at the hotel were pretty special too. We had the lamb clay dish that requires 24 hour advance order. Highly highly recommend. We also had the tasting menu. Also highly recommend. Service was wonderful. Food was delicious. The breakfast was cute and enjoyable. With the right weather conditions, you will be able to see some balloons in the distance (but do not count on this as being your main balloon sighting for the trip). The balloon tour booked with Royal Balloon was THE BEST. We also booked a sunset jeep safari through the hotel and loved it so much. Overall, we rate our stay at kayakapi as one of our top travel experiences ever. The uniqueness of it all is unmatched. Take the trip here, you will be so glad you made it. Some tips: - The service at the hotel is as kind as it gets. If possible, recognize the hard working individuals by leaving a tip at checkout. We were sad to find out that no credit cards would be accepted for a lump sum tip at checkout. I really wish we had more cash at hand at the end of the trip to recognize such wonderful service from everyone. - You will find detailed walkthroughs for each cave room on their website. This way, you can review and request the room you like most prior to arrival, and it will be assigned to you at booking time if available. I really loved that we could do this. - The spa was fantastic and sooooo reasonably priced. The massage therapist was excellent. Oh and the sauna has the best views!! - For your departure time, if catching a morning flight, try choose a flight that would mean leaving the hotel at around 530 am. This will guarantee one last special sighting of sunrise balloons on your drive to the airport. This made it a really magical end to our trip.

Beautiful, historical hotel in natural caves. Wonderful rooms - clean, with heated floor, big jacuzzi, sauna. Equipped by all necessary equipment in the bathroom. Welcome in the reception was wonderful, the guy which checked us in was like open book, told history of the place and added extra miles as it can be. Weakest thing in the hotel are restaurants, especially breakfast. Hotel must improve with it. We tried as well tasting menu, but haven’t been satisfied.
