What is really a special surprise for this hotel is that it is literally carved in stone. However, the apartment had all the necessary comfort and cozyness. The breakfast was great ( special bakery and egs) served on the upper terace with a fantastic view. Great location on top of the city and close to the baloon ride. We would... More

The place to experience cave hotel. Excellent staff. Nice view of the valley. Good and fresh breakfast. We enjoy our stay in this hotel. Was exactly what we've expected from this kind of establishment.

Cappadocia has a myriad of cave hotels but seldom are they naturally formed caves and rather are man made buildings disguised as caves. This however is an authentic cave hotel with a genuine feel good factor. We stayed there for four nights and enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was sumptuous and had enough variety. It has great terraces with second to... More

We spent three nights in this quaint cave hotel and were very happy. We were there to hike in the Ilhara Valley and around Cappadocia. It was cold and snowing but beautiful and magical none the less. The breakfasts were excellent but we chose to dine out for dinner so walked down the hill to a delicious dinner in a... More

It was my first experience staying in cave house. Urgup Evi Cave house has nice cave room, great view as it is located up on the hill, very friendly and helpful staffs, and provides yummy breakfast. Highly recommended.

We stayed at the Urgup Evi in a cave room for three nights in September. The hotel is very quiet with beautiful views over the valley where you can witness both the hot air balloons in the morning and the sunsets at night. For a hotel with no a /c, no TV, no safe-box, and a weird shower we really... More

Urgup evi is a good option if you want to stay at a cave hotel. Staff are friendly (albeit English is a little limited), rooms are comfortable / well appointed and the hotel is well positioned above Urgup with views of the surrounding countryside. A fixed menu dinner option is available and is worth taking being various combinations of home... More

We had booked a different 'Cave' hotel through a tour operator but due to a misunderstanding we were transferred here and we are so glad we were. The location is fantastic with stunning views from the terraces, especially in the early morning when the hot air balloons appear. The hotel is 10 minutes walk from Urgup and there are excellent... The most beautiful place where we have been in 15 days around in turkey! And the cheaper one! Wonderful room, in a 500 years ago cave, perfect temperature without air conditioned in summer. Big and confortable bed, every day the room has been cleaned, every day a bottle of water, new candles and incense. Very nice furnishings with original carpets... More
