Great hotel in a marvelous area! We've been there just before a crowded season. So hotel was empty but in a hurry for newcomers. Even in that difficult period, we've been hosted with perfect quality. The room has a very stylish design, beds, pillows and sheets are clean and high quality, personnel are always kind and helping. Overall, it was a pleasure.
We've booked our room with bed+breakfast option, breakfast is not something unbelievable but it was what you'll expect from a good hotel. We had only one dinner in hotel restaurant. It was fine but I must say it was overpriced. I suggest you to have your dinners in some small restaurants around the hotel. It'll be cheaper and more diverse. And honestly, the local wines in menu can be cheaper, the wholesale stores are in walking distance.
Here are some tips about cave hotels. Because of their unique structure, the light in the rooms are dim, phone reception is a bit weak (connecting hotel wifi immediately is suggested) but if you're in Cappadocia region, it's an experience you should live. Utopia Cave is one of the best, in a very strategic spot. In your Cappadocia trip, you'll want to see many different Valleys, panoramic viewpoints, balloons. It's important that you stay in a hotel which you can access these easily.

October 2021 - two night stay during bus tour of Turkey. Quirky cool hotel. Built into a hillside with some cave rooms, most are made to look like cave rooms. No worries, friendly hardworking staff, clean comfortable rooms, many levels of property to explore, enjoyed cocktails fireside at the open air lounge. Nice selection for tour company and many other tour groups in residence. Food was very good but set menu servings for tour groups were very rushed service ( I like to finish my soup and appetizers before the entire meal is placed on the table). Staff was very friendly and made up for any property shortcomings during dining. Nice location for walk to main town square in Urgup. Overall good job Utopia.

As pretty as the hotel is, they are stingy on wifi. We were booked for two nights and a full twelve hours prior to check out the wifi disconnected and kept giving messages for top up ie at 12 midnight the night before checkout. Otherwise the hotel is clean, the staff helpful (if very limited in English communication) but they do try by whipping out the google translate service on their phones! Lots of steps! Not for people with knee problems. The foot massage in the spa was excellent!

From my 12-day trip to Turkiye, I think my stay at Utopia Cave Hotel was the most relaxed and best experience. The staff was very friendly and the whole place has a very nice vibe to it.
Initially, you feel a bit lost as you go through the maze to get to your room but soon enough you see all the signs at every spot to guide you to your room. I had a large room with a jacuzzi inside and ambient lighting inside gave it a very plesant feel.
You HAVE TO TRY the Turkish bath there, both the person who did it and the room ambiance was such a nice experience. Even the indoor pool by the spa looks different and amazing. Also having seen the rates of the massages and baths in different cities this was by far the cheapest one. Just keep in mind to book what you want in advance as there is only one person giving the massage (at least when I was there)
The Terrace is the next best place of the hotel. The weather when I was there was just the right temperature of not too hot and not too cold (even though the days were super hot) A view of the city and a bar on top helps you relax and chill into the night. Mind you if you are looking for a hotel that has a view of the hot air balloons in the morning, then this is not the hotel for you.
The town center with the market is about a 10 min walk in case you want to experience the local vibes in the evening or to get something for yourself.
My regrets were that I did not spend more time there OR should have ended my trip there before heading home, oh well maybe next time if I make it to Turkiye again.

Our stay at Utopia Cave Hotel allowed us to fully embrace the visit to Capadocia and immerse ourselves in the beautiful landscape. The front desk is outstanding and took great care of our large family group staying in multiple rooms but ensured that our rooms were located near one another. The hotel offers extensive Turkish buffets at every meal as well as a la carte dining and is a pleasant walk to the town center filled with more restaurants, cafes, and shops. From the moment we arrived, the staff was friendly, warm and welcoming.
The room was spacious, everything worked.
I was feeling abit under the weather but Betty the concierge was amazing and was soo friendly she even sent soup to the room for me to feel better.
Betty arranged a lovely private tour for us at a great price.
We will definitely be back at Utopia in the future.

This was an amazing experience, the experience of a lifetime. The hotel itself has top class ambience and the room will simply spellbound you with its interior. The breakfast and menu were top class and their customer service was flawl3ss.
