The adjustable heater in the room provides very comfortable temperature to our liking and comfort. The room is clean and comfortable. However, as a couple, we asked for a queen size bed but was given a room with two beds pushed and joined together. The bed and pillow and comforter are provide a good rest.

Like all 4 other Turkey hotels which I have been to this week, this hotel don’t provide basic complimentary toothbrush and shaving kits.

The lobby lounge provides a nice cosy place to sit and chat.

Value for money and nice ambience.

spacious and serene environment matching the color and sights of Capadocia local region.Has a big restaurant and the food is wide spread both in breakfast and dinner.
Rooms are relatively small. some of the rooms overlook the swimming pool. Only problem is that you don't get WiFi in the upper floors.

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The property is fairly big and the ambience good. Staff is very courteous. Food spread in the restaurant is nice, both at dinner and breakfast. View from the room was nice, the room size was not spacious though. Outside view was beautiful - it was snowing when we visited.

Location is isolated (nothing but the hotel is nearby - but would suit travellers with car or those with tour groups or those willing to use taxi or local bus service). It is a very large well equipped facility with architectural design to match existing environment and to cater for tour groups. If you want the village, cultural, cave hotel experience don't stay here. The room was very nice, good dinner and breakfast both included. With winter rates (60euro for 2 people per night), is pretty good.

Our issues were:
1. We had requested collection from the airport via shuttle when we did our online booking however we were no collected. We also couldn't phone or email to confirm because the contact information that we had from bookings.com was invalid. After talking to a local shuttle driver he was able to call the hotel to arrange for us to be on the NEXT shuttle which meant we had to wait over 2 hours at the airport and missed the included hotel dinner. Please note it is impossible to leave the airport without a pre-booked shuttle and the airport information staff and telephone facilities are difficult.
2. One of the staff members on the reception desk booked (on our behalf) an overnight bus to pick us up at the hotel in the evening following checkout - the bus never arrived. An hour before the due departure we asked and confirmed with another reception desk attendant about the booking and he reassured and further confirmed. At the same time we also asked if we could have dinner since we didn't have this opportunity on our first night because of the 2 hour wait at the airport, we were told this would be an extra charge. When the bus didn't come and we enquired with the staff member again he showed little concern that we were nearly forced to stay another night in Cappadocia (and had to chase the bus dangerously by taxi which cost 45TL). This staff member who most significantly impacted on our experience at his hotel and our resulting review and rating could be described as having no problem solving skills or competency.

In summary and to end positively - if you want value for money, great rooms and food, you have confirmed airport shuttle arrangements well in advance, don't mind being away from the action and don't need to rely on staff to assist you with your travel arrangements - this is the hotel for you!

We had the misfortune to stay here for 3 nights , whilst the rooms were warm and clean the food was absolutely dire. The first night we went into the dining room and there was only chicken wings on offer with a few fried potatoes. A member of the party asked for more potatoes and was told ...no sorry finished.....it was 7.30 in the evening and they served til 9!! . The salads were lovely but it was cold and we needed hot food. The next night was the same and then another couple of coaches came full of French and Germans and suddenly the food became plentiful and good. He who shouts loudest etc.

Both myself and my husband stayed at Lykia Lodge Kapadokya from 11/06/2014 to 18/06/2014.

The hotel is well presented with all expected amenities such as pool, indoor bar, tennis courts, table tennis area by pool. snooker room, gift shops (3) situated in beautiful grounds the location is central for all local tourist attractions although it is out the way if you are looking for night life, whereby you will need transport or taxi to travel out. Goreme, a beautiful town about 8km away is a must visit. We managed to walk back from Goreme to the hotel one afternoon and it was one experience that we will cherish. The views we came across on our trek were unbelievable and we would have missed out if we have taken the local bus back.

The local buses stop right outside the hotel every half hour. You can catch a bus from here into Nevsehir, jump another bus to the main bus station (Otogar) on the outskirts where you can catch a coach to all main locations. We did this to travel up to Gobekli Tepe in Sanilurfa (a gruelling10 hour bus trip one way) but well worth it.

Our room (305) at Lykia lodge was clean and with sufficient space, nice bathroom with shower.
Housekeeping did a wonderful job and we had no complaints.

Reception staff Tugba & Jacob did a wonderful job in assisting us with our discovery of this beautiful region. Special thanks to Tugba, She is a credit to the hotel. She was available with help and advice at all times and always with a smile. Tugba arranged a surprise birthday cake through the restaurant with my hubby for me and when I say it was probably the best cake I have tasted I truly mean it .Nothing was too much trouble, ringing taxi companies and bus companies for prices and times for trips we wanted to do ourselves rather than through tour operators. She even rang our hotel in Sanilurfa where we were staying one night in between our stay at Lykia Lodge, to confirm our booking and late arrival.(We had a hug when we left).

Jacob did some enquiring around and chasing up for us on a trip to Derinkuyu which we very much appreciated and organised a last minute balloon trip for us through Urgup Balloons at £215 for the two of us. This paid for collection by mini bus at hotel at 4am, drive to balloon comp where coffee & croissants were provided, then taken to balloon lift off site where approx 100 balloons lifting off ready to catch sunrise in the air. 1 hour experience over rose Valley and then decent and champagne toast and certificate then drop of back at hotel. This is a must do breath taking experience.

The typical guest at this hotel is with a tour coach staying one or two nights, as we were staying for the week and travelling by ourselves the staff made a massive effort to make us feel welcome and were always ready to help us with a smile. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone.

Well what can one say about the food, other than it was outstanding. Buffet style with ample choice. All freshly cooked and all extremely tasty, hardest decision was what to choose as it all looked and smelt gorgeous.

Breakfast chef Sadi was one of my favourite people... every morning he greeted us with a big smile, he looked after us like there was no other guests there. His fresh banana milkshake was fab and I looked forward to it and seeing him every morning. All the other restaurant staff couldn't do enough for us. (Sadi also got a big hug when we left).

The guys at the bar served us coffee at all times of the day & night as well as my birthday celebration cocktails. They looked after us round the pool with cool drinks when we required them.

A warning about the pool, it was super cold if you get in before late afternoon. Don't let this deter you from getting in as once you're in its a wonderful relief from the hot sun.

We didn't see or use the spa or gym so we are unable to comment.

Well the only thing left to say about the hotel and the staff is that we would not hesitate to recommend staying here. The people in this hotel make you want to come back.

If anyone has any questions about the hotel we will be more than happy to help.

The facilities here serve a majority of tour groups, myself being on a tour (twice in Turkey our group books with this spot). I didn't care for it much the first time, and was equally disappointed the second. Primary objection: location. If you don't have a car, there is NO WAY to get into the sites that make Cappadocia special: Outdoor museum at Goreme, etc. The property is large; there is a pool, and good-sized lobby, but that's it. No way to see the fantastic scenery of one of the world's more interesting tufa formations. Secondary objection: all meals are served buffet-style in a large, noisy space. Imagine the sound of hundreds of wooden chair legs scraping on terrazzo floors, amplify with no soundproofing, and toss in large tour groups from the US, from France, from Germany, from Italy. Bon appetit!

Our tour group stayed two nights in this hotel. Hotel design was US Southwest in my mind. Could be placed in Santa Fe, NM and it would probably blend right in. Rooms and grounds were very nice. Tennis court for those who play. Meals were at the top of the list for our two weeks in Turkey. Could not always get wi-fi connection in my room, but unsure if it was the tablet or the signal. Selection at breakfast included omelet was available with choice of a half dozen items. Great juice and fresh oranges.

(This hotel was previously known as Lykia Lodge Kapadokya)
Hotel is built in a style that blends in perfectly with the Cappadocia landscape.
The hotel is modern, nicely furnished with great facilities including bar, restaurant, pool.
We enjoyed 2 nights at this nice hotel. Our room, situated on the ground floor, was large with an outdoor (private) courtyard, nicely furnished with all the facilities expected in a modern hotel. Our only problem was that we could only get the air conditioner to blow hot air, but we overcame this problem by leaving the courtyard door open to let in fresh air. It did get a bit cool in the morning though.
On the two nights we stayed here we ate in. The hotel has a great dinner buffet. One of the best we have experienced on our trip to Turkey. If anything, the breakfast buffet is even better.
Free WiFi is available throughout the hotel.
Overall we had a great stay in Cappadocia. This was one of the best hotels we stayed in on our tour of Turkey.
