Argos is great in almost every way. Beautiful location. Excellent service, very good food. I almost wish I could rate it exceptional...HOWEVER it fails major on its ability to AIR CONDITION rooms. We did visit in August, which I imagine is hottest month, when we walked into the room at night it was hot and stale, at first they turned on the air conditioning and insisted it worked, there was the slightest draft of cold air coming from the vent. After 20 min they sent someone to "fix the AC" they then offered to put us in another room...which was equally bad. They sent drinks to our room and they were very apologetic but never fixed the problem....the room was so hot it was hotter in the room than outside (one night my wife tried to sleep outside). This should never happen at a hotel, let alone one that costs this much. If air conditioning dosen't matter to you, this hotel is awesome, but if your like me and 20-21c/70f sleeping environment is important skip this place especially in the hotter months.…
It was an amazing experience for us. Amazing ambiance and staffs. Especially thanks to Mr. Cem and Mr. Ferhat who is operating the Seki restaurant and helping to all guests with their hospitality. No need to think, Argos in Cappadocia is correct place.
Argos In Cappadocia is an amazing property, with excellent rooms and outstanding service. The hotel does an amazing job in all aspects of service and the staff is always willing to go the extra mile. They offer very interesting tours which are a must when visiting the region.
This is a very special unique hotel. I suggest you stay only in this hotel when you travel to Cappadocia. This is an experience by itself. Breathtaking views, excellent location, the design of the hotel is so unique, I think they have won some awards on it. The service is excellent too, the staff is so attentive and friendly. If I have an opportunity in the future to travel to Cappadocia again, I am staying in this hotel only. I loved everything about it. It was my daughter's birthday and the staff was so sweet they presented us with a cake and a bottle of wine. Thank you so much and keep it up.
Beautiful hotel and magical location. The hotel is situated in the best area of Cappadocia, and is unique and lovely in almost every way. My only small critique is to have a better fitness facility, updated spa with more services and an open pool with food, beverage service and music. That sounds like a lot - but because of the overwhelming landscape and wonderful service, this is shadowed in comparison to everything amazing about this hotel.
Excellent hotel. Great location, breathtaking views. Great customer service, rooms are fantastic, restaurant has a great view as well, you just be in good fit condition since you have to cling stairs to go to your room and at 1400 meters over the sea level sometimes it can get hard lol, however it is the best hotel in Cappadocia and a must to stay while you visit
ARGOS is nestled in the mountains and landscape of beautiful Cappadocia Turkey. The rooms are all sort of individualized cut into Rock. I don't know the design team or decorators but they deserve academy awards..even object everywhere sort of just fits..every inch of the place has thought and detail. The hotel and waitstaff stupendous. The guest relations young lady (adorable college student..staying to be an English teacher) toured us around the property was informational and fun. The wine celler and collection awesome. Food and drinks also good. The only missing piece is a spa which they say is coming. Not inexpensive persay..but everything top of the line and all details attended to. If you come , this is where to stay! Bravo Argos!
Service beyond excellent. Every attention to detail perfect. Beautiful cave hotel with fantastic views and rooms. So much history there. The food is excellent and most grown there. We will definitely be back since such a unique experience.
We had an excellent stay at the hotel. The staff was very forthcoming. The best thing was the staff knew english well so was easy to communication. The bar tender was excellent. He made us have very good and different type of cocktails. The location of the property was really nice. Our suite had a sit out area facing the caves with a mesmerising view. Over all it was a memorable stay. If going to Cappadocia should stay at this property only.
Argos is a place that I completely surrender to. The staff is present and responsive but also the property is devised in such a way that I always have a restful space and a feeling of privacy to recharge and recreate. The views in every direction are a masterpiece of design in nature. A deep bow to the gardeners and landscape artists. Frames are everywhere - be they the graceful arch of a passage way, an open window or door , or the natural ports of a cave- landscape architecture is high art at Argos. Textures, colors, sumptuous fabrics against rough stone, carpets and kilim bright against the dusty rose and mustard landscape. Sigh. The bedding and towels are always fresh, well appointed amenities, and the wonderful room staff always willing to refresh seamlessly. In the mornings the great sighing balloons fly overhead like passing whales and in afternoon the light plays on the vast surreal landscape. Yes like a dream. I can sit the whole day and watch the sky show. Why even leave when to explore the magnificent Argos property is an artistic experience of its own? Breakfasts are a buffet of delicacies and very fine coffee and cay. Seki Restaurants fare is Ottoman sublime. Have I gushed enough? It’s true. I love you Argos.…
