We had a great weekend at Argos, the service was amazing. Service is excellent and all staff is dedicated for the best of the customers. The hotel also takes the covid safety measures very seriously. We made baloon tour via hotel and were very satisfied. Strongly recommended.
Everything about this hotel is stunning. The rooms, the views, the common areas, the breakfast and the food were all exceptional. Staff was attentive and helpful. The design details and amenities were very well thought out: we had a lovely welcome snack plate and a bottle of wine from their vineyard upon our arrival and they made us hot coffee in a thermos for our early balloon ride. If you're going to spend a few days in Cappadocia, I highly recommend checking out this little gem. They were also super careful regarding Covid 19 protocols as we were traveling during the pandemic.
Argos is a truly stunning property. We stayed in a cave room last month and I could not have been more blown away by the visit. The breakfast each morning was spectacular and sitting out on the patio watching the balloons was so peaceful. The room itself was immaculate and we were so grateful to the staff that came and made a fire for us one evening. We had a late flight on the day we checked out, and they let us keep our belongings in a day room and book a two hour timeslot at their incredible infinity pool. This is truly a special property that is wonderfully managed.
I LOVED this property so much! I traveled to Cappodoca with my son for his 16th birthday and fell in love with Argos. Our room was gorgeous, with beautiful stonework, Turkish carpets, a wood-burning fireplace, and very comfortable beds. We arrived in the dark and had no idea where we were. We were pleasantly surprised to see the gorgeous views, hot air balloons all over the morning sky with caves in the rock formations. I can't explain in words how breathtaking the sights, sounds, and smells are! The entire staff are lovely, kind, helpful, professional, and COVID protocols are in place and taken seriously. Seki restaurant and lounge is lovely with such a great vibe. The food, cocktails, and wine are excellent! The views from Seki are astounding! We also enjoyed the Turkish breakfast every morning with the frisky cats. I left Argos, knowing that I will return! Thank you for such a wonderful time celebrating my son's 16th birthday! It was exceptional! I did not schedule my balloon flight or daily adventures with Argos, but I will next time! :)…
The views from the hotel grounds are lovely I would say the best in the area, you would only really need a few nights here max then stay in Georme which is more the ‘city’ of the area and home to all events, tours and balloon sight seeing spots (as they fly that way and depart that side of the mountains) Hotel Argos had two key flaws which we were let down with: 1. DONT book tours or transfers with the hotel they are outrageously expensive. Silly mistake we learnt on arrival the transfer one way from the airport was €130 = 1,300 TL! Couldn’t believe it, we instantly cancelled the return transfer and booked ourselves which was €30 = 300 TL. 2. The tours are substantially inflated, book yourself. The spa is inflated and in Gerome is 1/4 of the price for authentic hamman. 3. The beds! The beds are 2 single beds pushed together and was very annoying and you keep falling into the crack in the middle of them. For a €300 a night hotel I would expect a double mattress at least. Apart from the above, the pools lovely visited at the back end of covid and you book out 2 hour slots, this was nicer than what I would imagine it would be with anyone up there when they please as the pool really only supports 2 people due to its size, if there is 3/4 people you would be intrusive. …
