To stay in a hotel Turkish Cave House was the right choice! We were guests of this hospitable hotel for a week during the New Year holidays. When you come to this hotel, you find yourself in a family where you are welcome. The cozy hotel is beautifully decorated in Turkish style. Lots of interesting old stuff. The room that the host gave us was great! There is everything you need: a kettle, cups and glasses, tea bags, shampoo, shower gel, soap, slippers, Wi-Fi, TV, mini bar and, what is important in winter, heating. The room is decorated in the style of the entire hotel: interesting carpets, lamps, candlesticks, even a fireplace! A traditional Turkish breakfast was served in the hotel's restaurant. Large portions that we couldn't finish. Delicious dishes: croutons, pastries, egg dishes, olives, vegetables and various fruits, jams, honey, nuts, dried fruits, cheese, sausage, gozleme, tea or coffee. Breakfast is great! During our vacation, restaurants in the city were open only to take away, which is not very convenient. The host invited us to have dinner at the hotel, so we had the opportunity to enjoy homemade Turkish cuisine in the hotel's restaurant with a burning fireplace. The dinners were delicious and varied: meat, fish, chicken, kefte. Everything was served with appetizers in the form of salads, soups, bread and desserts (fruit, pudding or Turkish sweets), tea or coffee. The host tried to help us with everything during our stay, so that we were comfortable and well. The attitude is very sincere and respectful, which is nice. The hotel is located in the historical center of the city. There are shops, cafes and restaurants. Different interesting places. People are nice, unobtrusive. On foot, you can reach both the viewpoints and the Goreme Open-air Museum and the neighboring towns of Ibrahimpasa and Goreme. There are hiking trails with signs. You can walk all day! We thank the owner of the hotel Kadir for his hospitality and wish all the best to his family!…
My wife and I stayed here this week. The manager Mr Kadir was very friendly and helpful. It was our first time in a cave hotel and it was unique. Breakfast is included. The wifi is good. Hopefully more international guests can stay when the pandemic improves.
It was my second time that I'd stayed and both times were incredible. The first thing I must say is the owner(Kadir Bey)'s attitude towards us. He was quite kind, welcoming and talkative. He gave us all the tips about the city and touristic attractions around. The hotel was clean, has great location and the breakfast was also awesome. Thanks for this remarkable holiday!
This place is literally a cave house, so if you want to live like an authentic cave dweller then this place is for you; oh but don't stress there's wifi :D. Kadir was absolutely amazing. Whenever we needed something like booking a taxi or planning last minute tours he made a quick phone call and arranged everything without a sweat. The location is a little further from the happenings in Goreme however the taxi's aren't too expensive so it didn't matter too much anyway and the tour company's sent a car to collect us with no extra cost. The breakfast was authentically Turkish and fresh, we loved it. We really felt like we were at home because Kadir was awake early in the morning making sure we didn't miss the balloon ride and even stayed up late to make sure we came back safe and sound. We never told this to Kadir but we secretly called him Dad because he was so caring just like our parents and it was something that money couldn't buy. Thanks again for taking care of us! <3 PS. Tachin is the cutest dog ever!…
First, it’s a real cave house! Very nice decorated, mix of vintage turkish culture and plants. The service by owner (Kadir) was great. Nothing to complain about. Quiet, good internet, clean, hot water, laundry... everything.
