Disappointing, I paid for a Day use because in pandemic times the places are empty and guests started arriving. We were in the pool and the manager told us to shut up, said we couldn't laugh or talk loudly in the pool. When we asked why we couldn't laugh he sent us away from the hotel. Completely pitiful, a shameful situation as we were having a very peaceful time. I do not recommend any Brazilian to stay or use the day use there. I have never felt so humiliated in my life.

We found this place such a restful spot and it was great to have a pool to cool off it. Breakfast was wonderful, especially considering that we were the only customers during this post-covid season. Staff were courteous and friendly.

Friends of ours had stayed here a few years ago, they were very happy, and they strongly recommended this hotel. As a result, we insisted that our Istanbul based travel agent (Efendi travel) book us into the same hotel. Wonderful place. I cannot praise them enough. The room was small, but what the hell, it was a genuine cave (carefully carved out of solid rock, no dangerous sharp edges!). The room had everything: a comfortable bed, an excellent bathroom, very very clean, and best of all the view from the landing outside the room! Priceless! The hot-air balloons flew very low, directly overhead, you could almost recognise people in the baskets! You could get great photos and videos of the balloons from landings outside any of the rooms, at various levels. Talking of stairs, there is no lift, and there are a few stairs to climb to reach the hotel, and then again more stairs to access the various levels. So this is NOT a place for anyone in a wheelchair. Don't worry about your luggage, the staff will carry it up the stairs for you. Breakfast had limited choice, but the quantity was adequate. Wifi in the room was a bit dodgy, but it was excellent in the dining room, so this was not an issue. There is a fairly large pool, which would be great if you go in summer. The hotel's location is excellent, it is almost in the heart of Goreme town. The staff were superb: chatty, friendly, and very very helpful with tips, advice, etc... I have no hesitation in saying that I would be staying here if ever I visited Cappadocia again!

Room Tip: Get a room at as high a level as possible. More stairs to climb, but the views are out of this...

Hotel staff are very accommodating! I requested a birthday cake for my cousin and they prepared it, the cake was actually super nice and delicious. I also asked them to prepare a bottle of wine and they didn't disappoint me. Thank you so much Local cave house! Location of the hotel is perfect and rooms are nice and spacious. We had a perfect stay at the Local Cave House hotel on our last night in Cappadocia. The hospitality was on point, the room was unique and clean, and it was very quiet. Parking was safe under surveillance and everything in town was walking distance.
