I stayed here for two nights in Cappadocia. It was a great little place and a great value. I booked through AirBnb and they always got back to me quick with responses. The room was basic but clean and cool that it was in half cave-like. I would not say this is a five-star hotel but if your looking for a cool little basic room in a good location and great value this is the place for you.
Had initially booked another hotel in Göreme but decided to switch to Gedik Cave Hotel few days before the date of travel and I can say this was one of the better decision have made. To start with, Serkan was a patient host and available to answer our concerns and queries before and after our arrival. Pickup was smooth as promised. They also made arrangements for Red and Green Tour. The agencies and guides they arranged were fantastic. Nihat at reception was fantastic, always there to help us with a smile. Saifullah managing the breakfast counter was also quite helpful and courteous. Extra points for him because he could speak Hindi. He was also a fan of Shahrukh and Kajol. The rooms are cosy and the property has an appealing old rustic look and ambience. Highly recommended to stay here.…
We stayed at 3 different hotels in cappadocia and this was by far the worst. Very small room, there was dust on the bed, bedsheets had rips/tears, bathroom had mould around the sink (edges by the wall). However just to mention the good things as well; breakfast was ok and staff were friendly.
The hotel is cheap but that’s not the reason that they don’t ever change bed sheet!!! I found two short hair in my hotel room bed, n clearly is not mine, cuz I have long hair. I removed the bed sheet cover at the end of the bed, what’s worse is that there’s dust under which really disgusts me. U might say I shouldn’t expect more cuz I didn’t pay much for a night stay, but even a hostel will definitely change bed sheet after every single customer’s stay. This is hygiene related and it’s totally not acceptable.
Clean rooms, friendly staff, and a great view of the area from the terrace. I even took a nap here without anyone disturbing me! The hot air balloons were cancelled the morning I was there, but I'd imagine the views from here would have been spectacular.
