We are writing this review after checking out staying at a nearby popular hotel for “hot air balloon photo taking opportunity”. In comparison, Tulip cave was so much better in amenities, everything was in great condition with a great family run staff. It’s location was not far from the city centre (considering all hotels are all on the slopes) and although it’s not at the highest point (that means you climb less) it has access to a high roof terrace for fantastic view! For the price of the room we even had a balcony that the more popular hotel we later stayed didn’t have! Service was fantastic they even moved our heavy baggages from their hotel to our next hotel at no charge, yet our next popular hotel *cough cough mithra cave* bell boy patiently waited for tips with the room key until we paid him, after carrying the bags from reception to our room. Tulip, is by far one of the best steals of our Turkish trip!…
Stayed at this beyond beautiful 5th century byzantine church which has been converted into a a stunning hotel. The owners have maintained it's character, authenticity and charm. Above all you have panoramic views of the city. The staff here couldn't have been more welcoming and accommodating. They went above and beyond to ensure we had pleasant stay. This is the perfect getaway for anybody wishing to visit. I would highly highly recommend staying here when you visit and can ensure you won't be disappointed!
Nice place, nice view at night, very warm, friendly and helpful people from this hotel! Really good, fresh and healthy breakfast!!! We visited during summer and room is cold even without air-condition. Love their bed very comfy and soft! Tha place is really amazing!! You will feel like your in a fairy land!!
With the exception of Cave Suites Hotel, which is too far away anyway, this hotel has the tallest rooftop balcony and therefore the best views of the city. The manager is nice, the room is comfy and clean without a strong smell (which is hard to do in a cave). And it's location is great. The breakfast is amazing, try the cheese pancake. Really impressed by this hotel!
We stayed for 3 nights at Tulip Cave Suites and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The room was warm, spacious, clean, and had all the uniqueness of staying in a cave whilst having all of the amenities I'd expect in a modern hotel. The breakfast was fabulous - a great variety of local and international cuisine served buffet style with fresh eggs. The location is very central, but high up enough to afford enticing views over Goreme and the local area. Best of all was the service - from warm apple tea on arrival to helping us organise a hot air balloon trip and assisting us when our car had a flat tyre, the staff went beyond the call of duty to give us the best experience. Thanks all!
