Coco cave hotel and pension is in the tiny town of Goreme, where pigeons are still housed in lofts carved in the valley walls, where lemons fill the cellars and where the harvest of grapes roll home in horse drawn carts. A family pension where you will feel at home. Eko and Coco will welcome you with smile, even early in the morning. We have several prices for different budgets, from single, through dormitory (cave) to double, triple rooms.

The place has more potential than is being got out of it. We took a more expensive cave room and really liked it, the design was nice and it was comfortable. The only issue being the bathroom is not separated from the living area, only by a wall which stops a few meters from the vaulted ceiling. This can of course cause sounds and smells of the toilet to be shared freely throughout the room. It is far from ideal design. The shower looked great, sadly one of the shower heads was broken so the water only leaked out of the hose, and the the other had a loose attachment so it didn't want to stay in it's holder. The hot water and pressure was very lacking as well. It was quite sad because to fix this is really cheap, the cost of our stay would easily fix that issue multiple times.
Here you see the laziness of the owner, who can be quite overbearing and annoying. We arrived very tired and he just wouldn't stop speaking to us, despite us showing clear signs of just wanting to relax. He rambled on about walking 5-10 km, here then another 3km here, in each direction to find different landmarks, despite us telling him we already had a plan and only one day to do it. The breakfast was very good, and the a pleasant addition to our stay. The boy working there was much more pleasant to deal with
I would advice those staying here to take the cheaper rooms, which probably have less issues and just avoid the owner as much as you can. He's got his own agenda and shtick that isn't worth listening to.

Give me a break people who give less than 5 stars!!!
€35 per night including breakfast and super nice, attentive and friendly owners, brother and sister Busra and Metin - thank you !
Your bedroom is in the cave, clean, dry, bathroom amenities, coffe and tea amenities, tv, great wifi, hairdryer, towels and breakfast on the terrace overlooking the city.
Two minutes walk literally to downtown.
What else do you want!
Thanks for a great 2 nights stay.

Could not beat the price. Room was super comfortable with hot shower. Hotel has a beautiful view of the surrounding area. Reception are super helpful and very funny and made a great breakfast. They will also help set up a balloon ride for a very good price. Could not have had a better stay.

This place ruined my vacation.
Yesterday I woke up extremely thirsty and needed water to take my medicine. This location is pretty far from the town so I went to where they were serving breakfast and they said because I had the Hostelworld price I did not get breakfast. That was 100% ok, but could i please get a bottle of water or maybe they had filtered water to take some medicine with. The women said no because I had the hostel world price. She told me to drink the tap water- i was so desperate i did and got HorRIBLy sick. I had to stay another night at a hostel and they told me I was sick from drinking the tap water.
A bottle of water cost 3tl but they couldn't give me one. i am still sick. I would not reccomend here.

We stumbled across this place, and kept saying how happy we were that we did. The location is perfect, the room was great and affordable and most importantly as I said before the staff is amazing.. We'd stay up at night playing backgammon with them and drinking tea. They were always very accommodating and friendly. Sorted us out with all the tours we wanted or with any questions about hikes or the area in general. I highly recommend staying here. The terrace has amazing views as well. Just do yourself a favor and stay here. You'll be stoked you did.

First experience of staying in a cave hotel. The rooms are modest, but unusual. Very tasty and filling breakfast. The terrace offers stunning views of the balls. Very friendly owner. Excellent option at an affordable price.

We arrived in Goreme after a 19 hour trip from Istanbul. Needless to say we were rather tired and hungry. We got offered a cup of apple tea, nice indeed. It was much less enjoyable however having to listen to one of the brothers (was it coco or eko?) ramble on about all the possible tours he could offer. Feeling slightly annoyed already I interrupted him, mentioning we were very tired and hungry. This however to no avail (Let me finish my story please...).
The rooms on the upper level had a great view but a somewhat strange odour. The only toilet (smelly) is 30 meters down after a couple of steep stairs. Not great when you have to go to the toilet in middle of the night. Both of the brothers seemed rather dodgy and far from genuinely friendly. The only positive things I can say about this hotel are the good views and the friendly "lower" staff. All in all you can find a much nicer place in Goreme easily.

Here's the good: it's cheap and located close to the main street, restaurants, etc.
However, the room we stayed in was cold, damp, and smelled strongly of mildew. There were spots of mould on one of the bed sheets (fortunately there was a spare bed). Beds themselves were very uncomfortable - I think the springs were totally shot in the mattress I slept on. As mentioned in another review, the owner (or person who coordinated stays, it wasn't clear) was pushy about booking balloon tours through him, which we did not do. We found the people who worked there were not as friendly and helpful as the staff we had encountered at the other hostels and b&bs in Turkey.
Frankly, if we had done our research we could have found much nicer accommodations in Goreme for the same price. Would not recommend.

The hotel rate was good, We stayed for 2 nights and paid only 70 TL per night. The staff was helpful, He arranged the balloon tour and the city tour before we even reached. The breakfast however was quite limited but we hardly had time to eat it so it was fine.

The coco has super nice rooms with bathroom for a very little price, the view from our window was great and the owner helped us with everything, he picked up us at the bus station right away when we arrived, gave us lot of tips about the area, helped us to go back to the bus station with our luggage, really great. The breackfast was great as well. We loved it!
