The hotel was extremely comfortable and the staff could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable. It is a few minutes walk from the town centre, breakfast is good and the hotel’s in house restaurant is a very good standard. The girls in our group enjoyed the hamam and massage. Just 2 points. Breakfast is on the top most floor. It has great views but there are approximately 70 steps to get to it. So not for everyone. The hotel also offers to book the many activities and tours offered in Cappadocia. These are exactly the same that can be booked in any number of tourist centers and in our experience the centers were less expensive. Overall 5/5 is deserved.
Easily the best hotel I've stayed in, Gökhan at reception was great, can't praise him high enough. he gave us lots of great advice and offered us lots of tours and deals. The staff are all really welcoming and go beyond their job to make you feel at home and have everything you need. Our room was quite big compared to others we'd seen in the area and the breakfast on the terrace was incredible. The terrace is also a great spot to watch the balloons in the mornings. Overall I loved this hotel, it's staff and our 3 night stay and can't wait to go back.
We stayed here for 6 nights in August. I spent a lot of time researching and looking at cave hotels in Cappadocia and had originally booked a different one before I came across this little gem. I look for 3 things when travelling: cleanliness, customer service and good air conditioning! The hotel has easily surpassed all my expectations. I contacted both the owner and son before I booked and they were so warm and friendly. The virtual tour is great and allowed me to pick a room that suited us. I was travelling with my 17 year old son so I wanted a room that gave us both space whilst remaining connected. We chose room number 3 (gazelle dami) and it was perfect. It was massive! He had a room at the front which led into my room and the bathroom through an open arch. The air conditioning was good even though we didn’t always need it as the cave was cool. The hotel is so close to the main strip of shops and restaurants (2 minutes walk) yet remains peaceful. The staff are incredible! From breakfast staff to reception, they are so genuinely kind and helpful. When I needed to change some money and it was really hot, they drove me to get my money changed. They’re also great with local recommendations. They helped us find the best once to shop and smoke. Shisha/hookah. The breakfast is lovely and filling. Staff will offer suggestions. We fell in love with Turkish pancakes. One morning when we didn’t make it to breakfast they rang to check if we wanted anything. I’ve included pictures of the view of the balloons. This was from our terrace but you could go up another 2 floors and get better if you wanted. The hotel arranged our excursions and we had no problems at all, everything was well organised and no problems at all. Family hotels like this are so special. They have the personal touch. I am very fussy when it comes to where we stay. I call it ‘affordable luxury!’…
The hotel and its management are a real gem! Picturesque and comfortable accommodation with an extremely good breakfast and excellent service. They even gave us a gift before we left and drive us twice for free to our excursions! Such a great experience! Highly recommended!
My wife, daughter and I had a wonderful 3 nights at Aydinli. The hotel itself is tastefully decorated and the large suite we were in was wonderful. It’s a walk to everything you want to do in Goreme. The staff led by the owner Cem and manager Ahmad are all very helpful and attentive. The breakfast and views from the breakfast area were outstanding. We availed of transfers, balloon rides and tours from them and also had a nice time in the spa/ hammam. They were also kind enough to ship a jacket we left in the room onwards to our next hotel. Highly recommend…
We were at this hotel on 9th and 10th July. Location, cleanliness, food, service everything was just perfect. We took all tours from them... All are best. It's a family run hotel, all of them are very cordial. Especially at breakfast time the lady who prepared yummy breads in front of us was so sweet. Their restaurant also serves good food with many options.
Loved this Hotel. Cave rooms are amazing. Staff was super helpful! Thank you Ahmed, Hamid, and Hatdeje (amazing cook). Breakfast was delicious. They have a tunnel under the street to a to their restaurant Turkish Ravioli on the other side. Food here was delicious. We had terrific views of the hot air balloon passing overhead just after 5-‘ from the patio outside our room.
Frankly it is hard to say how amazing this place is. It is all about the family run business, the people and the support they offer their guests. Every one from Mr Mustafa the owner who welcomed us to his own garden, Mr Gem his son who was always there on breakfast to take care of us, Ahmed who took care of all our tours and bookings, Abdul Hamid who was there whenever we needed help, Hulya how took us to Avanos and showed us and around and Ayse Nur the lovely tour guide that took us on the Red and a green tour. The room is lovely, clean and spacious for the family. The breakfast is amazing and they offer local pastries to all guests. The ravioli Turkish Restaurant is nice and we ate their twice. The last day surprise was on the breakfast when they asked my wife to join the chef and do her own local baklava. We are planning our next visit just because of the family and the way we felt welcomed at home.…
I cant say enough good things about my stay at the Aydinli Cave hotel. They really went above and beyond in every sense of the word. Every team member was so attentive and polite. The size of the hotel and the attention they give you almost makes it feel like a bed and breakfast. My only complaint is the spray or sanitizer that they use to clean the rooms is a bit strong.
There are plenty of cave hotels in Cappadocia but none comes even close to the Aydinli Cave Hotel in terms of the rooms, service and hospitality, expansive breakfast, location and the amazing staff. The hotel is just off the main downtown area, and within 5mins walking distance to all the restaurants, shops and travel agencies. The staff at the hotel helped organize last minute tours for us - at competitive prices and with excellent tour providers. They also packed a breakfast box for us as we had to checkout early. Rooms are amazing and big, decorated wonderfully and everything worked. Overall, a superb hotel with an amazing staff that made the stay beyond wonderful. go stay there, you will not be disappointed.
