If you are really looking for the cave life experience this place is certainly to go to. The only thing that I would mention for travelers in summer, this place is missing an air conditioner. We were lucky that it was not super hot during our trip. But other than that, the place is adorable, and the staff was super friendly and polite!
Great hotel run by a friendly and helpful family. We felt more at home. Very delicious breakfast. We had beautiful room with a big window and its own terrace with an outstanding view. Onur organized for us an airport shuttle and activities like balloons and tours. It was a very good stay in the Village Cave House hotel! I recommend!
To begin with, since we booked the room, the hotel contacted us so that they pick up us from airport. Hotel staff provided excellent directions for things to do in the area. They even helped us book tours and horse rides. Excellent hotel staff, always doing their best so that we have a beautiful experience. Warm and cozy rooms, great breakfast, great view, fantastic location, we loved every part of it. In all the places we have traveled, we never had such a warm reception. Highly recommended, do not miss this one!
Stayed in during COVID time. So there were few probably not so normal things were there. First, the hotel is really in cave. Not just a name. Room is just like what you see in museum cave. Ceiling and wall are bare cave, and you will be able to have very unique stay in here. In front of your room, you will have your own little sitting area to enjoy views of cappadocia, and balloon flying in morning. Unfortunately, the room we stayed (room 13) is on the bottom floor and has tree in front of room, so didn’t have fantastic view. But we went up higher floor to see balloons flying in the morning. Due to COVID, there were few differences from normal times. No daily cleaning, but they exchanged to fresh towels each day. No breakfast buffet. But they will cook you fresh nice ones when you go in. So this was a nice stuff. We even requested some to be added. The room has very nice continuous hot water. But the shower place does not have any divider, so entire bathroom area floor can get splashed. Somehow it did not get flooded in all over the place. In the room, internet was quite weak. We asked to reset router few times. Also, it can get somehow good connection in sporadic areas in room. Need to find sweet spot for it. When we visited was very quiet, but we did not hear any people around the room, just occasional door closing sound from neighboring room. We really enjoyed this place. …
Village Cave House was beyond my expectations. From the very moment I arrived I felt like an honored guest. There was no question they didn’t answer and they truly went above and beyond. They are all so willing to help you book a tour, find a restaurant, etc. It is family owned and operated and you really feel like one of the family. I was sad to leave. Thank you Village Cave staff for the wonderful hospitality. ❤️
