Very lovely hotel in a fantastic town. Could watch the balloons every morning right from our front porch, or if you want a short 5-10 minute walk uphill to sunset point. Would highly recommend this place. A true cave hotel. Super friendly and helpful staff.

We stayed here for 4 days 3 nights and had a cosy and welcoming stay throughout.

The room is spacious and it feels cooling even in the summer. The perks of staying in a cave hotel.
The bed has the right firmness for me and comfortable bedding. Every night was a good night rest for me.

Communication with Mr Onur via WhatsApp was a breeze. It was easy to arrange airport transfer and it costs 360 TL per way for each person. The pickup service was a shared service with others from different hotels which are mostly close by.

The hotel is on an elevated hill which offers a spectacular view of the major streets in Goreme. The highlight of the hotel is definitely the different levels and types of outdoor seatings in the terrace to take in the breathtaking view.

On a side note, the toilet bowl was lacking water and ants were found building nest in the lavatory. Which the hotel was informed and I believe they will take further actions to resolve it.

Not forgetting the breakfast selection is decent and flavorful.

The hotel is quite close to the city centre, approximately 5 minutes downhill walk.

In all, the hotel is valued for money and a relaxing stay.

Excellent and authentic rooms that are actually real caves adapted for a pleasant stay. An ideal location ten minutes from the center and just as many from one of the panoramic views. Pleasant and very helpful staff. Even though the balloon flights were canceled due to weather conditions, they immediately responded to our request and booked us on a flight to another location (1 hour from Goreme). At the last minute, we asked to go on the red tour, to which Onur immediately responded and booked us places. When we asked for a rent a car, we had a vehicle available in 15 minutes. I fully recommend it to anyone looking for authentic rooms, beautiful views and very helpful staff.

We are delighted to have stayed at the Village Cave House Hotel. Our time at this hotel was simply fantastic. The location was great, offering the perfect vantage point to savor the captivating landscapes of Cappadocia. The unique cave rooms at the hotel were both comfortable and distinctive. The cleanliness standards were top-notch, and the staff was always ready and kind in assisting us with any needs. The food at their restaurant was outstanding, allowing us to sample local flavors. Additionally, the terraces provided an excellent spot for watching hot air balloons. I highly recommend Village Cave House Hotel to everyone; it offers an unforgettable holiday experience.

We had an oustanding 5-day stay at Village Cave House. This true family hotel located just below Sunset View hill boasts amazing rooms carved in the rocks with access to terraces overlooking Göreme. Owner Onur went out of his way to help us secure a balloon flight during our stay despite a weather-related cancellation on our scheduled date. He also gave us plenty of tips and explanations and what to do and see, as Cappadocia has a lot to offer beyond the main touristic points, like Soganli valley, Gümüsler monastery or Açik Saray in Gülsehir. Coming back at this hotel after a day of discoveries had a homy feeling that is worth a lot!

We stayed here four nights and felt very comfortable. Our motorcycle we had standing in front of our “cave”. The hotel has a beautiful roof terrace where you can watch a wonderful sunset. Also fantastic in the morning on the terrace the almost within reach balloons the over one. To experience driving away. We had a nice room “cave light” with windows as we get without claustrophobia. But even this room was fantastic and stylishly decorated. The bathroom with shower offered everything modern but was also authentic again by the sinks Niesche. Breakfast was served with much love every morning by Ayse. We agreed very well with Google Translate.
There were various cheeses, cucumber, tomatoes, olives, jams, fried eggs, fries and cakes, just a typical traditional breakfast. Ayse and her husband were fantastic hosts. He put a cover on our bench on two rainy days and was always helpful. We just felt completely comfortable.

As soon as we booked the village Cave Hotel we got a text from the hotel with lots of info re the area and things to do trips etc and thier wharsapp number for free contact. We were able to book an airport pickup from Kayseri airport and trips on two days. The room was beautiful with all mod cons - tea/coffee, shower, wirlpool bath etc. From our sitting area there was a perfect view over Groeme and at 7:30 in the morning the sky was full of hot Air Bolllonns, which was magical. The two brothers that run the hotel and their father were exceptionally helpful and friendly. nothing was too much trouble. We cannot reccomend this hotel highly enough it was excellent and made our trip to turkey complete.

If you plan to photograph the balloons this hotel is perfectly located. The exterior walls of the structure are covered with terraces which offer outstanding views. The balloons are front-lit from this side of the valley, showing their best color and they seem to drift right over your room. It's an easy walk to many good restaurants. Unfortunately the staff seemed unable to fix the faulty WiFi or to remember to ask the owner to reset the router. However, the thoughtful hotel owner provided “taxi service” to a second hotel in Goreme . (Local taxis don’t drive around town. 🤷‍♀️ )

We arrived in Göreme and had to find a place to stay. At the Village Cave, we were greeted very friendly by Onur and we were shown the room. Because this was the first hotel we visited, we looked around some more in the city, but soon decided to go back to the Village Cave and book a room for 4 nights.

The hotel is run by a friendly family and has everything you need and wish for. The cave rooms are clean and nicely decorated with carefully colected furniture, antiques and rugs and offer a great view over the picturesque village of Göreme and the unique landscapes of Cappadocia.
There is a cosy garden where you can enjoy the rich and fresh breakfast the Village Cave offers and relax under the aprocot trees while listening to the birds chirping everywhere around you. Alternatively, you can sit in the spacious cut-out cave dining room.

All in all a great base for exploring the astonishing surrounding area of Cappadicia-Göreme. This is definetly the place I would return to if I visit Cappadocia again!

Staying at the Village Cave House Hotel, Goreme is an unique and unreal experience. You stay in an actual cave carved out of volcanic rock. The hotel has views right across the town. You wake in the morning to the site of hot air balloons which you see right from your balcony. It is located right next to the walkway that leads to the viewpoint that looks over the area. The staff and breakfast are great. I fully recommend this stay for everyone.

The walk is a gradual incline, I would say about 200 mts from the main town street. I travelled with my mom who is a senior too and we would go up and down this road at least four times each day. There aren’t many vehicles on the road to be worried about so you can walk at a comfortable pace. Wish you a good trip :)
