This hotel is very clean and tidy, and centrally located. The Warner Bros. Trojan Horse that was donated to Çanakkale is about 300m down the waterfront and there are many restaurants and shops just around the corner on the main road. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet is delicious and full of variety.

I spent one night in the Hotel Helen and would not really want to spend more. Its biggest advantage is its location -- bang on the main street of Canakkale and handy for the ferry. Unfortunately this made for a noisy night -- there was a truck running its engine outside the room at 3 am, audible in spite of...

It's conveniently located around the central where you can find restaurants everywhere within walking distance. The room is comfortable as well and breakfast is okay too. Not sure if only we encountered not so friendly staffs in concierge but averagely everything is good.

I stayed two nights in the Helen Hotel and was very pleased. In previous trips to this gorgeous city we'd stayed outside the town in a waterfront resort, so this property stands in stark contrast with our previous experience in this area. The hotel is modern, well-equipped and very clean. However it is its location - literally a couple hundred...

Returned for the Hellespont swim having previously visited in 2011. The new part of the hotel (Helen park) now open and very comfortable. However, whilst the balcony was a welcome extra the air con wasn't as efficient. That said - the room was very clean and spacious, the beds comfy. Fridge in the room was also a great addition. The...

Short walk from the ferry port and very easy to find. Room very small and basic. Reeked of cigarette smoke- as a nonsmoker, not pleasant. Very noisy with all doors closing, toilets flushing and showers running been able to be heard through the walls. Central location for good restaurants along the sea front. Buffet breakfast adequate. Okay for a short...

We stayed one night..breakfast was actually great, full buffet. One receptionist was pretty miserable so cannot rate service based on one guy. Had problems connecting to wifi due to it beng an automated process when u check in. Rooms nice. All in all a good choice.

Picked up a cheap single room a few days out and was really happy with what they provided. Room was clean, service was good, the free breakfast was great. Great location close to the port, didn't need to look at a map you can see the hotel sign from the boat as you cross the Dardanelles. The complimentary pie and...

The bed clothes smelt of cigarettes, the bathroom equipment was faulty, and our room was at the front of the hotel so we got a lot of noise. In its defence, however, it bills itself as a three-star hotel. Unlike other reviewers, we found the breakfast buffet good.
