The hotel is located in a very nosiy area in the heart of a student district. The rooms are not clean and smell of smoke. The bathrooms need to be given a deep clean I didn't even chance a shower. Breakfast was very poor no tea to begin with as the urn was rusted. The rest of the food was not appetising.

I stayed at Anzac hotel in Canakkale after crossing the ferry from Gallipoli. After checking in with my passport picture on the phone and went up to my room, I realized I didn’t have my bag pack which contained my passport, money, credit cards, wallets. Panickingly I ran down to the front desk thinking I left it there while checking in. The front desk staff, Saliman and the manager, Emin help review the security camera and saw that I didn’t have my bag pack at check in. The Bellman help walk me back to the ferry and talked with the security twice but they didn’t find any bag on lost and found. Later Emin went back with me twice to discuss with the ferry terminal security and file the report. Finally, they called to the hotel and reported they found my bag pack!! It’s just on the other ferry which they didn’t search originally as we probably told them the wrong boat schedule I took. I was extremely happy to get my bag pack back with everything in it. They really took my problem seriously and go extra mile to help me. I truly appreciate their professionalism and compassion in their job. I’ll stay here again when I come back this way. The hotel also a walking distance from the ferry and close to the waterfront and everything in town.

Great little hotel with good location by the seafront and ferry port, plenty of local restaurants and historical sites to visit and great all you can eat breakfast. Also has some great images and homages to the Gallipoli campaign on the walls of the dining room and entrance. Tidy room and kind staff who will help you with anything. Definitely planning on coming here next year. Thank you for your time and services- Jed

We stayed here for one night before heading off on our Gallipoli tour. Very handy to the water front. Was quiet and warm. Breakfast was good. Staff were helpful. Good value for money. Our room overlooked the clock tower but still quiet.

I was left alone at this hotel by my tour operator fir my Troy/Gallipoli tour. No complaints about the hotel itself. I'm actually not sure which Anzac hotel i stayed in as there are 3 and one just around the corner. The photos of that one look like this one. This one is small and narrow. Anyway... good reception, good wifi, surprisingly good varied breakfast for a 3 star (i don't eat meat or bread), good hot water and rooms actually not too small. Only negatives for me were the very hard uncomfortable bed and the noise coming from a bar (?) at the back of the building until late (i had a back facing room). It's really central and close to the ferries. Great for a night or 2 when you are visiting the sites.

Not impressed at all other than location. The room is not large enough to even open my suitcase other than on the bed. The toilet seat is broken ( but quickly fixed) and I cannot breathe for the smell of cigarette smoke...

Stayed 1 night in room for 3 people. Front desk people spoke good English. Other staff so helpful - parked our car, helped with luggage. Location was great - ferry out the front and central location to eating places. Breakfast was excellent. Room was adequate but not huge. Bathroom was clean and everything worked. Decor was a bit dated - the place could do with a face lift but overall it was great value for money.

This is not a place we would ever stay again. The rooms were very small and the lighting was appalling particularly in the hallways. As for the safe a unsecured box in the bottom of the wardrobe. Easy to pick up and walk away with. Wifi was good but the TV had 1 station and that station had no sound. And the size of the TV - so small you would need binoculars to see it from the bed. Breakfast was a mash of various things some good but try and get an orange juice. - our of luck for any juice. We found the bed even though it was king size to be hard and the pillows useless. They wanted 4TL for a small water and 4TL for a large water. The bathroom was small with no face cloth - I am not surprised. Pleased to be out of there.
