Stayed one night. The hotel is HB based. As I titled this review the hotel is very old. Maintened by small patches, it certanly need a good renovation. But being old also means a lot of expirience of the staff and the owner. I think (not sure) that the hotel is a family business. Service is very good. Hotel is... More

Arrival on cold and wet day for a two night stay was not particularly welcoming. Double room on second floor was small, dark and cold overlooking a shabby property next door. Room decor was clean, but plain and lacking character. Food in the restaurant was poor in both quality and variety. Vegetables were over cooked beyond recognition. Hot food (actually... More

Shower only, spa is clean, and it had good food. A "A101" store is just down the street but just be aware that almost all hotels in Turkey frown on you bringing food or drink into the hotel with you. It's an honest experience, and I enjoyed it more than several of the resorts I visited.

Ayvalik is more typically Turkish, and is free from hordes of tourists. It is basically a fishing port- although not much fish was on the menu at the hotel. In December it was windswept and rather desolate, with many shops/restaurants closed. This hotel was the smallest we used on our tour, but it did have double beds, but no tea/coffee... More

After the pre joys hotel, the vista hill, this hotel was a lot smaller and a lot older. The shower LS ked pressure, the rooms small, and the taps would have enjoyed a make over. Having said that, it was more traditional Turkey - possibly how I initially thought it would be in Turkey - the reception and lounge area... More

A family run hotel which apart from the barking dogs, car alarms going off and the chant from the Mosque at 5:30 every morning isn't too bad. The food is like with any other Turkish Hotel nothing ever matches so you have rice and noodles and spaghetti but nothing to go with it. You could put up staying in this... More

Not a 4 star hotel as promised as part of the "5 star Cultural Tour in Turkey"offered by RSD.A Notice (one of many such) warned that"To bring foods from outside to hotel is important and not requested .Otherwise they would be taken by housekeeping and charged to your account.".This epitomized the welcome we received.Needless to say there were no drink... In our recent trip to Turkey, we stayed at six different hotels in various locations, and Billurcu was the only hotel we were not happy with. Even though the hotel was not full, we were given room at the fifth floor, telling us that those rooms had the best views. The thing is that the elevator went up only to... More

We stayed 4 nights at this hotel on September. The hotel staff was very helpful, friendly and they were doing their best to make customers feel good. Especially the reception staff were nice people. Even their warm attitude and smiling faces are worth to choose this hotel. Food was good and delicious. (Olives were not in good quality though. Ayvalık... More

The hotel was too hot even though there was a air conditioner in the room but you couldn't lower the temperature. Even the looby are was too hot when you walked in. The food was good, we did not get a spacious room that everyone is talking about, reception people were not friendly at all.
