The Sealight Resort Hotel is often celebrated for its friendly service and prime location near Kusadasi and the sea, attracting many travelers. Guests have lauded the hotel's cleanliness and the array of amenities, including diverse dining options, pristine pools, and abundant sunbeds.
While the rooms are spacious and tidy, a few visitors suggest they could benefit from an update and modern touches. Despite the lively atmosphere and activities such as Zumba and a kids club, some guests feel the hotel falls short of its 5-star claim, pointing to overpriced services and the need for amenity enhancements.

Relaxed with husband and child (10 years old) in August 11 days. This is my third visit to Kushadasa 🩷, my husband and child for the second time. At the hotel arrived at 8:00, left things at the reception, went to breakfast in the city (the hotel did not allow breakfast, although then we saw people without bracelets at breakfasts), at 11:00 we put on bracelets, gave cards for towels, at 14:00 we got a room. Room - cozy, comfortable, the view was garden/forest and partly to the sea, the balcony is lovely, the bed is just love, very comfortable. Nutrition - lots of things, varied, delicious, no one will be hungry. Apart from the main restaurant there are snack bars, both by the pools and on the beach, there is also enough food. The hotel has 6 a la carte restaurants. We were in Italian and Asian - very, very good! Things to do - animators are beautiful! Sinan is the soul of all hotel guests, Diliai is just a power charge! Every night show program, almost every night outside the main bar live music (we were delighted with the vocalists) There's a white party once a week, so get your wardrobe ready in advance. There's more than enough entertainment for kids, and kids' parties, and handicrafts, cartoons, mini disco... The beach is small, when entering the sea rocks, you can hit, especially if the waves. There's plenty of space on the beach, but if you want to be right by the sea, you have to borrow early. The road to the sea is a separate topic. 142 steps down - fine, up - already difficult, especially after a day on the beach and cocktails)) There's a shuttle running every three to five minutes, so if you can't fit, it's no problem. The pools are cool, there's plenty of them, there's saltwater, but then again, at 5:00 a.m., the zombie apocalypse of sun loungers by the pools started. As ridiculous as it sounds, it's a real necessity if you want comfortable seats, because after breakfast, catching three sun loungers side by side is unrealistic.
Holidaymakers are mainly Europeans and Turks, very few Ukrainians, Russians, Americans.
From the hotel to the city center there is a route (dolmus) number 5, a passage for an adult 20 lire, drive for 30-40 minutes, to the AVM (shopping center) better take a taxi.
Bring euros, outside the hotel all prices in lira.
In the hotel shop everything is very expensive, for example a large circle costs 1,700 lire, and on Lady's Beach the same 700 lire
And so, the Kushadas are love, a whole other level of rest!

We stayed all inclusive, second week of Easter holidays. Family of 5 as we brought my dad with us, so obviously my views are based on that
Really enjoyed our stay here with a couple of days left. Hotel is spotlessly clean, it’s an older hotel but has been done up recently and does look good. Sure you can get a better standard if you want to pay lots more but absolutely no faults with the condition
Staff are very good at reception, in the bar and guest services. When we checked in we were massing a bed for one of our kids, told reception and it was all sorted within the hour.
The only criticism of the staff is in the main restaurant and it may be caused by the time of year we are visiting. There isn’t enough staff on as tables don’t get cleared away quickly so lots of tables not being used as plates left on it. The biggest thing is that if you are all inclusive they will not offer you drinks. You can ask them but they are focussed on the non all inclusive visitors as they are paying for drinks. At one point they told us you can’t get water in the restaurant. We got round the problem by getting drinks in the bar before walking in which isn’t a hardship but may be for others
The main bar is pretty good but does get busy. Again, the time of year we are visiting means the outside bars are quieter as the temperature does drop a bit. In the summer there will be more people but they will be spread out between bars so I’m sure that will be fine
Food - can get it pretty much all day. Mix of international and local types of food. As it’s buffet if you time it wrong it may be a bit cold but it gets refreshed constantly but I can say that about any of the all inclusive hotels we have been to
Ours kids are 12 and 14 so don’t use the kids clubs or anything, but we have played a bit of volleyball and ping pong as staff organise times for games etc which was nice
WiFi is standard free hotel wifi, works most of the time but a bit slow but that’s what you expect
Location near Kusadasi is really good. We walked in to town via Ladies Beach which took about an hour, Ladies beach was about halfway. You can also get a local bus from outside the hotel and they come past every 5-10 minutes and drops you straight in to the town. It’s 14.5 Lira per person and would be so much cheaper than a taxi, and lots more fun. Kusadasi is a really busy town, lots of shops and bars, nice walk along the front etc so well worth going to

We have just spent 2 weeks at this hotel. This is a lovely hotel. The animation team ate fantastic they are working long hours interacting with people all day and evening. They work extremely hard. We have had some lovely chats with Furkan. The pool's are lovely so much space and so Clean. The dining area is kept extremely clean. The staff are constantly on the go cleaning tables. The food is nice, there is always something to eat. The rooms are cleaned daily bedding changed a couple of times a week. There is a kettle in the room and a fridge which has soft drink in there daily. If you are all inclusive there free. Also you can borrow a iron and ironing board from Reception Reception staff are very helpful. You get 1 al a cart a week. We had Chinese first week it was amazing. The second week we had fish restaurant again this was outstanding. Definitely recommend the spa the Turkish bath was great. To get into town it is only 15tl on the bus just a few mins walk from hotel. The buses run every 5 mins.

So the hotel at first glance looks like 5*, but only at first glance!! The rooms were forgotten to be cleaned 5 times in 11 days and towels were forgotten to be put in twice. The food was 90% of the time the same (breakfast, lunch, dinner). There are not enough loungers by the pool for all the guests to lie there. There were notes everywhere saying that it is forbidden to occupy a lounger with a towel in the morning, but nobody cared. The staff couldn't speak any German and some of them spoke broken English. There was no evening entertainment apart from a few shows from 9pm to 11pm. The cocktails weren't cocktails but something mixed together that didn't taste of anything and had nothing to do with a cocktail. You aren't shown anything that the hotel has and you have to find out for yourself where to get everything. The rooms were very simply furnished and for a double room there were only 2 small beds that you had to push together. The beach was catastrophically small, full of loungers and no room to walk (beach about 100m long MAX). Guests pay different prices for the same service (about 500-1000€ difference)!!! And you couldn't do anything with the hotel WiFi.

We stayed in this hotel for 10 days (2 adults, 1 child). The buffet (morning, noon, evening) of the restaurant was the same every day. The recipes have never been changed. We all had stomach aches and had to go to the bathroom often. The room was not properly made up when we arrived. We had to ask the maid for towels every day and the room was not washed properly. There was humidity in the room and fungus in the shower. Every night between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m. a gentleman decided to clean the hallway with a large machine on our floor. I sent an email to ask to stop making noise at night and I received no response. It was a lot of noise and no way to sleep. The swimming pool: the hotel management let people put their towels in the evening (night photo) and early in the night to reserve their deckchair and even when getting up at 6 a.m. there was not much room to enjoy the swimming pool . The tiles around the pool have never been washed.

In two words: we are disappointed. We chose the hotel with our family and friends a year in advance, encouraged by beautiful photos and many positive opinions, we had no worries or doubts. We finally have the long-awaited vacation - here we go. And here our disappointments began right from the hotel doorstep. We arrived from the airport to the hotel around 7 a.m. with small children. We have traveled like this many times and hotels have always welcomed us, inviting us for a meal and offering drinks. It was obvious for us to wait for the rooms to be prepared, but the information at 7:00 that the wristbands and the right to use drinks and food would be available only after 11:00 was a bit of an unpleasant surprise. Especially since the hotel is located in a remote area and it was impossible to use local restaurants. Well, it's hard, we wait, it will be fine. We got our rooms. We were supposed to get 3 family rooms with two baby cots and one extra bed. After 2 p.m. we found one room with an extra bed, the rest without any bed for children. After receiving attention, the cots were brought out. And here's another shock: dirty beds, broken parts, sand under the mattress, holes and dead bugs... After a fight with the resident, we suddenly managed to get clean and new ones (too bad it was only after the fight). However, the cleanliness of the rooms also left much to be desired. Drain clogged with hair. Dirty shower cabin. Dirty and smeared mirrors. Sand on the ground. The room was cleaned properly only once in 10 days. The food was good, but the cleanliness of the hotel restaurant was not spotless either. It happened that we had to choose a plate three times before we found a clean one. The food was not served about 40-45 minutes before the end of the meal, which was a bit unpleasant for an ultra all inclusive option and a 5-star hotel. Okay, I've complained about it - there were also a few advantages, the bartender service was great, wonderful, sociable people. Animators and animations at the pool and in the evening were also great. The hotel's infrastructure is a big plus, great beach, large selection of attractions for children, beautiful views. However, if a hotel fails in matters such as cleanliness, I do not think it is worth recommending. We won't go back there, which is a pity because we were set on a great place. Türkiye offers many other, better hotels, so I recommend looking further.

Spent the week here this month with 2 kids (12 and 9) on an all inclusive. Superior room is large and generally fine but needs a bit of facelift in bathroom. However they are clean. Food is good, lots of choice however very difficulty to see which products have nuts in (our son has a peanut allergy) and staff didn’t seem to know either. Resort is mainly families so pools naturally are full of kids playing water games with parents. Lots of in house entertainment eg pool Zumba, pool gym workout, volleyball. Evening entertainment is also pretty varied. There are a couple of stunning bars to admire the views and staff are friendly. Big tips - WiFi simply doesn’t work. Get a eSIM from someone like maya (£12 for 5 days 20GB). They say that you can’t reserve sun beds but people do and they will go by 10. Check out is 12 - they will charge 70E to have another room until 16.30. Only one plug in room - prepare to stagger your charging for your devices unless you want to charge in main bar area. Overall, a pretty decent resort and the airport security is fast and straightforward. On a final note, if you are having a beer in the airport bar on way home brace yourself for £10.60 a pint!!

We previously stayed at Sealight 9 years ago and was looking forward to coming back. We emailed the hotel before arrival and asked for a room with a good sea view on a high floor, which was provided and was spot on so this made a great start to our holiday. The room was lovely, spacious, clean and had a fantastic view.
We were travelling in a family of 6 (4 adults and 2 children) and on the second day we did not get up early enough to reserve a lounger and missed breakfast so we spent the morning at the beach bar playing some cards and waiting food to open. All the tables were for 4 people or 2 people so we had pushed 2 tables together (a table for 4 and a table of 2 that were right next to each other) to fit our family. As soon as food opened we went to get some crepes and ordered food but then it became a huge problem that we had pushed 2 tables together ? They were only picking on our family as other tables had put tables together and nothing was said to them ? It made us feel victimised and upset.
We made a complaint through email and also through the hotel rep, but no reply was given, not even an apology and we felt like we didn’t want to visit the beach bar again because of the rude staff and their attitude which is such a shame as the view from there is lovely.
It’s not a problem to push tables together in the main restaurant, they are very accommodating and a big thank you to Ahmed for making us feel so welcome in the main restaurant.
The Sun bed situation eased a little over our holiday, it was easy to get a bed at about 7am. There are also notices on the wall that towels before 7am will be removed, we didn’t see anyone placing towels the evening before which was good.
The staff at the main reception bar are absolutely brilliant, a big thank you to Eyup, yelda, ibrahim, kardelen, asli and Erkan. We also found the reception staff really good too.
Food is good at the Sealight restaurant for lunch, burgers, pizza, nuggets etc. Food at the main buffet typical all inclusive and does get a bit ‘samey’. We found an excellent restaurant at ladies beach ‘Blu Notte” the food is outstanding and the view of sunset beautiful. The ‘a la cartes’ also help to break it up a little, fried ice cream at the Asian (dragon) is the best we have ever tasted.
Unfortunately at least twice during our stay the pool was closed because of guests doing ‘a number 2’ in the pool. Be careful around the pool as it can become slippy when wet. The guy who does the aqua aerobics is an absolute star, you can tell he really loves his job and the aerobics are really fun.
The waffle machine broke on our first day and it wasn’t fixed in the 10 days we were there.
Loved the Turkish delight !
As a whole we had a really enjoyable stay, the views from the hotel are lovely, it’s just the table situation at the beach bar really spoiled it for us, as a family you expect to be able to sit together which is the reason for the ‘average’ review.

We stayed at the hotel with my wife between 19-25 August, it was a choice we made taking into account the comments here, and to be honest, it is a hotel that we are glad we went to, so I wanted to share our experience here. The welcome at the entrance was very nice, they gave us a room on the 3rd floor, 1 day from the entrance. Then it was my birthday, my friends in customer relations offered wine and fruit to our room for this, I would also like to thank you for this gesture, let's come to the hotel, the waiters working in the dining department are very attentive, the lobby bar works like a bee even though it is very busy, guys, everything you want to snack on is available in the lighthouse snack section ( lahmacun, hamburger, kumru, sausage plate etc.), there is also a lot of variety at Agaios beach snack located in the sea section, you can always find something to eat from breakfast until dinner. You can eat something sweet in the ice cream area, and they haven't forgotten the waffle lovers :) The food is quite delicious and diverse, the drinks are of high quality, I can say mixed for alcohol, there are well-known brands and others, they clean the rooms every day, the housekeeper lady helped us with whatever we asked for. Animation lasts all day long, the evening shows are generally good, animator friends come to you in their free time, chat and are interested. The sea is not very far, only the beach is a little small. There is a shuttle up and down every five minutes to go down to the sea. The brother who drives the shuttle is very friendly. I would like to thank him from here. The pools are quite adequate and there is a pool filled with sea water, which is a good alternative for those who do not want to go to the sea. The slides are quite successful, you should also try the water bucket in the children's pool :) In short, we were very pleased with the hotel. Whatever you say about the negative aspects, the only thing we didn't benefit from was the sea; it was a bit choppy due to the nature of the sea and not because of the hotel. I was a little hesitant when I read the bad comments here, of course everyone's experience is different, but we are glad we listened to our hearts, as f/p it met our wishes. I took pictures with a drone while I was there, maybe they will give ideas to those after us when making a choice, I will add them as well.

Starting with the positives. The animation team were first class. They worked hard morning till night for the entertainment of everyone. Sulaiman went above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome. The bar staff at the beach bar and the lighthouse bar also worked just as hard.
The beach was lovely as was the pool even though it was closed 3 times in two days due to someone doing the toilet in it.
Sun loungers we’re limited and despite the notices that if towels were placed on loungers before 7 am and were not used within 3 hours towels would be removed. Which never happened. We counted probably 20 loungers each day that had towels on them and no one was at them until 5 or 6 in the evening.
The negatives. Main restaurant simply didn’t flow. the restaurant was big enough, with enough staff to clear finished plates, just not enough staff to serve drinks at lunch or dinner. The food on offer was okay, not a great selection and by the time you queued for the limited hot food it was barely warm by the time you sat back at your table.
The reception staff were a hit or a miss depending on the time of day you arrived. We arrived just after midnight. and given the key to our room. Opened the door of the room to find only 2 single beds, considering we booked the hotel back in January this was a disappointment. When our cases were brought up. We mentioned the bed situation and it took an hour for them to bring the 3rd bed.
When we went to reception to discuss this we were told that this was the only room available and if a room became available the following day we would be able to move.
The hotel itself is dated. The rooms could do with a good clean and freshen up.
