Totally disappointed. I have travelled to turkey for the last 20 years and never had such a bad experience. The whole resort needs updating... The rooms smell of drains, bathrooms are terrible.. The food in the restaurant is poor... Staff are unfriendly... The photographer was very clever with the hotel photos... Don't be fooled The only good points would be the views over the bay, and the snack bar pizza!!

We booked this hotel based on the pictures we saw on here and the reviews mentioned good value for money. We arrived in the afternoon after a delayed flight so already exhausted we were hoping for a warm welcome at the hotel. At reception we received a cold welcome and were handed a piece of paper, a key and was left to it. There was no mention of what our room number was, we found it on the key and as we were situated outside in one of the old rooms we were walking around in circles trying to find it. The old rooms are not featured in any of the pictures on trip advisor and we soon realised why, very old fashioned, dingy lighting that wouldn’t light the whole room, hard beds with bunk beds, a box TV from the 90’s, mini fridge that was warm, the curtain didn’t even stretch across the door and was far too small, as for the bathroom... we had to keep the door shut because the bathroom stank so much, when we went in there we heaved many a time, the pipes would make a whistling sound every time the toilet was flushed and kept us awake. The shower was quite mouldy and it would take around half an hour to heat up on first use each day. The cleaning wasn’t the best, although they had plenty of rooms to clean and must be exhausted, our feet got dirty getting out of the shower, we had to wipe our feet getting into bed due the floor not being cleaned properly and sand building up over the whole ten days we were there. The food was bog standard and the same every day, I’m wheat/gluten intolerant and found it very difficult to eat there as they love serving bread and when I asked if they could tell me which foods I could eat, they were confused and didn’t know what I was asking, even when I had shown them the Turkish translation of my gluten card they were unable to tell me things due to not being sure on ingredients! I spent my whole time eating salad, cheese and rice (not all bad I guess) The beach area is absolutely tiny and barely enough room to move, the pictures make it look bigger, the pool was so slippery and quite unkept. Multiple people were allowed down the slides at the same time with no one monitoring so people could have easily been hurt, the lifeguard was only present and would only work when it suited him. The photographers were pushy and were slightly pervy, they would take photos of me in the pool after I said no and show them to the male in our group and zoom in on our boobs and laugh. The alcohol wasn’t great at all so we didn’t drink much, the snack bar was just basic carbs and nothing interesting. No entertainment at all but that may be because we went out of season. The hotel itself was very boring and dated, like a 70’s hotel. The gym was very basic and didn’t have any equipment for those who want to use weights, just basic cardio machines. The lady working in the spa was extremely pushy when I only popped in for a price list, urging me to book appointments for treatments and showing us around, we didn’t change any money up yet as we had only just arrived and she was still trying to force me to pay after telling her this, trying to force me to use my bank card. She then told me I’d have to return at 9am to make payment for treatments she was trying to force me to have when we wouldn’t have been able to even change our money up by that time! We were then offered a treatment for the exact same thing for half the price when the holiday rep came! She would give us dirty looks every time she saw us for the remainder of the holiday. We were also made to feel extremely uncomfortable by Marcus, who visited to tell people about the restaurant, Murphy’s. He approached us while we were relaxing on our first day sunbathing and proceeded to hang around for around 20 minutes after we said we’d think about it, the next day he returned and did the same but said he didn’t remember us, so went over the same speech about the restaurant which we listened to and said we have other restaurants booked but would think about it as we had 9 days left. The next day in town we walked past murphys to eat at a restaurant we had booked (casa Blanca) which was actually next door, Marcus shouted at us in the high street trying to urge us into his restaurant and when we politely declined and said we already had a table booked, he continued to shout at us as we walked away saying we were Nasty people, when we were sat down he continued to make us feel uncomfortable. Once he saw us at the hotel the next day he would ask us why we did not go to his restaurant and would make a point of ignoring us from then on. The hotel should not allow these people to hound you in thet manor whilst you’re in the resort! I would totally recommend eating out whilst staying. I love kusadasi but unfortunately would not return to Ömer.

I don’t normally leave reviews but I feel I should leave one regarding our stay here as the only nice part was our room and view off our balcony (room 5008)! The pool area needs some serious renovation, the floor around the children's pool is terrible, so uneven and all brick so horrible for young ones to walk on bare foot getting in and out of the pool. Both pools are cold but you can get used to it once you’ve been in a while. If you want a sunbed in the sun you need to be up at the crack of dawn to get one. It says no reserving sunbeds but everyone still does! The snack bar does the same food every day, pizza, burgers and chips - which you have to fight for. We had staff pushing in front of us to get food which I think is disgusting! The food in the restaurant is the same variety at lunch and dinner every day! I think we ate there twice in 2 weeks. Hardly any variety at breakfast, I lived on bread and butter. Hardly any entertainment for the children at night so had to make our own or go out of the hotel. Nothing is in walking distance, I read reviews saying it was in a good location which I disagree on completely. If you are looking for something easy and nice to eat if you go right out of the hotel and walk about 10 minutes, over the road there is a “pizza and pida” place, wish we had found this sooner than our last night as the pizza was amazing and worked out at 2 pizzas and chips for about £9! Some of the staff were lovely, we had 3 babies with us and they always got attention and cuddles which was nice!

Stayed here between the 7th and 15th of October. Upon arrival you’re greeted at hotel reception then whisked away on a golf cart to our room. We went superior and room was lovely next to the tennis court. Cleaned everyday, fresh towels and bedding. I will admit there was a lack of entertainment as out of season. Most sun loungers were gone by 10 o’clock so gotta be quick. Nice choice of sunbathe by pool with music or down on the beach, lovely and peaceful. Could always find a table at meal times although dinner time was a big rush of people so we would wait half an hour. Snack bar by pool did pizza, burgers and chips, soft drinks and beer, very nice. Food was lovely, lots of choice, meat dishes, pastas, veg, salads, fruits and breads. I would happily eat there everyday. Not many English people so with barrier language struggled to make holiday friends. Had a shisha bar, spa, little shops, hairdressers and doctors which was cute. Gorgeous views, so nice so have meals next to the sea. We went to Murphys twice for a meal out, lovely staff, 2-4-1 cocktails, food was amazing try the Mexican chicken, and free pick up and drop off! Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The resort is located in a quiet area , the bedrooms are not bad , but need upgrading, love it that is in the middle os the trees , wake up with smell of nature. Some of the staff could be more helpful and joyful. There is only two or tree that speaks english , but we manage (were there’s a will , there’s a way) ! Food a little bit repetitive, the turkish massage is very good . Entertainment staff are very nice .we had a good time , but need a bit of improvement!
