Blue Waters you offered an amazing hotel with more than we could have wished for. The whole area (and it was vast) was spotlessly clean, the staff very friendly, the pools immaculate, food good and the room more than adequate. On arrival our cases were delivered to the room and inside was a basket of fruit, wine, cookies, Turkish Delight and a fridge full of soft drinks. There were dressing gowns and slippers which was a nice surprise. The room was quite dark but then it keeps the heat out. Facilities in the resort were good with several bars and staff waiting on tables. Food was varied everyday and always very good with plenty of choice. The tables seated 8 and at first it was quite intimidating having to share with strangers but in most cases it opened up a conversation. We met people from all over Europe and fortunately the majority spoke some English! Brits were definately in the minority here! We absolutely loved the hotel but unfortunately would not return because of the number of children there. It was like being in the middle of a creche from 8am until 11pm! I have no issues with small children but I went away, without my grand children, for a peaceful relaxing holiday but we did not get that! Blue Waters you need to look after your guests that chose to travel without children and provide an adults only pool, adults only area of the dining room and an area of rooms for adults only. We would love to return but only if we could have some escape from being constantly surrounded by young children.

ALL ROUND DECENT We stayed for 11 nights and overall the hotel was very good. The food was excellent and service was good, very few times you had to be waiting for a drink. Round the pool was lots of sun beds to choose from, though as we went after summer time we can only imagine June / July being very packed and to note the sun beds are close together. One annoying factor with this hotel is they do not offer service round the pool. Evening entertainment is very good! Beach bar has bands play 4/7 times a week and the show they offer was incredible at times! Hotel is dominated by Germans. Not to say this is bad, just most guests have stayed before and staff members will predominately speak to you in German. Most people we interacted with spoke good English and was very pleasant, and the main restaurant has the table’s very big to ensure guests sit together and talk with other guests. We never had a problem with sitting with other families and had friendly conversations with most. No family we sat with was English. Myself being 25, was very keen for their activities. Throughout the day the hotel provides the same program day to day, the team they have running for the activities I wouldn’t say was the best. The team only spoke Turkish / German and was very difficult to communicate when speaking English… Also to meet other brits was near to impossible as I stated earlier the hotels is known to cater for the Germans. I still had fun with the activities though I would say this was a poor animation team if they class them as one. In my experience the engagement of getting guests involved has been very high in other resorts. This hotel would say Water Polo and then just stand at the pool. Then when past the time he would walk over to the darts to the sitting guests chatting. To conclude, I believe this hotel is fairly good and probably aimed for the children / parents. As mentioned they offer the same day to day program. Though if you want to do the other sports involved like football, tennis / table-tennis and maybe water polo if the same guy doesn’t round anyone up, then you can, I would just advise you have someone to play with… Also to note the cleaning and waiter staff was very good!

Well what can I say! Everything was just perfect. Travelling with a baby - I travelled with my husband and 15 month old baby. And was so worried about being able to have everything I need for the baby. This hotel is fantastic for families with children and young babies. We was given a cot in our room. Usually abroad the cots aren’t good condition but this was clean and comfortable. My daughter is on full fat cows milk now and the Akdeniz bar provided me with cartons of that milk for my room as often as I needed. In the restaurant there is a baby station where there is a bottle warming machine, microwave and blender. Wow I’ve never seen a blender in any hotel I’ve been in. So it was amazing to be able to go and pick my daughter up some veg and meats and blend them into a purée for her. They do also have a baby station with mainly boiled chicken and veg, porridge, mash etc. They also have a little childrens food hut by the kids club which is open at certain times when the main restaurant isn’t so you can always grab your little one something to eat and a drink of sugar free juice. The hotel is very accessible with a pram. Even going onto the beach they have a wooden walkway where we could conveniently take the pram right to our sunbed. As you have heard so far this hotel made travelling with a baby so easy! So thank you for that. Although I go into detail about the baby facilities this hotel caters for all ages and travel groups. There are plenty of areas where couples , elderly , young or singles can enjoy. Room - Our room 6137 was conveniently located just off the reception. It was a nice quiet room close to the bar and restaurant. Our room was very comfortable and cleaned to a great standard every day. Restaurant and bars- there was always plenty of choice for every nationality or diet. The food was always piping hot which stood out to me as usually in buffets it’s always lukewarm. I was impressed with how spotlessly clean the stations were. There was always a member of staff wiping spillages. There are several bars and waiters which will serve you at your table. The drinks was good quality. The lady who serves Gozleme on the beach is the best! We visited her every day! Pools- there are several pools and we enjoyed them all. Always got a sunbed. And everywhere was clean around the pool area and in the pool. Entertainment - very good. Always some activity to do during the day and evening. We particularly liked to visit the beach bar of an evening where they had live singers between 9pm - 11pm. Location - It is 10 euros each way to Side town. Takes approx 5-10 mins. The reception will call you a taxi which promptly arrived. On our last day we asked for a late check out as out pickup was in the evening and this was given. They gave us a gift upon check out and waved us off with our British flag. I work in the travel industry and I have travelled many places. I will definitely be recommending this hotel to all family , friends and customers. Thank you!

We’ve just had a fantastic holiday at Bluewater. We were greeted by lovely staff who welcomed us with smiles and warmth. We stayed in room 7309 on the 3rd floor. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The pools are so lovely, a perfect temperature. They have showers around the pools to use before going for a swim, which we like. We never struggled to find some sun loungers. The beach and pier are great. The sea was lovely to take a dip, always had lifeguards on duty. The hotel grounds are beautiful, and very well-kept. The main restaurant it very clean with staff constantly keeping it that way. The food was amazing, so delicious, and so much to choose from, even for vegans and vegetarians. The hotel complex is large, but it is very clean and well-cared for. Some complained of the fact that the hotel has lots of German guests and they weren’t happy with that regarding catering and favouritism. We never felt like that. The catering was multi-cultural. We never came across any favouritism of any particular nationality. Every nationality has the same treatment as far as we saw. We also had many pleasant conversations with Germans, Russians, Swiss, Dutch as well as our fellow Brits! The staff go out of their way to look after you. Nothing is too much trouble. All the staff were friendly, polite, welcoming, chatty and always had a smile. We were even greeted regularly by housekeeping staff, everyone just smiles, even ground staff. We would highly recommend Bluewater to everyone, couples, families and the less mobile (we saw older guests, guests in wheelchairs, a guest with a prosthetic leg, all catered for). Bluewater is definitely worth a visit.

We have just got home from a wonderful family break at Blue Waters. We were liked after so well from start to finish by all the staff and nothing was too much trouble for them. The pools are just the right temperature so refreshing. We never came down to the pool until about 11.30 most days and still had no trouble at all getting a sun lounger. The whole complex is huge but is absolutely spotless. We had a brilliant family holiday and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone

Our 7 day stay at The Blue Waters sadly ends today. I rarely leave reviews but we have been looked after so well here from arrival to departure. Nothing is too much trouble for the wonderful staff here, from reception, pool, restaurants, entertainment and those who cleaned our rooms. They all had the same aim, to make your stay as comfortable, relaxing and welcoming as possible. There is so much choice and variety of food in the many restaurants. We ate at the Club beach bar at lunchtimes, the head chef often greeted us with open arms and a huge smile, like old friends. There are 4 pools to suit everyone, from toddlers to teenagers with the waterslides and quieter pool for the guests who prefer a little more tranquility. The beach is beautiful and there are many sun beds so no need to be up early scrambling to put your towel out! We have particularly enjoyed the evening entertainment and the live music. I have no problem in recommending this hotel and would definitely return maybe with family and grandchildren. I would like to thank Tariq and Mahbi from the reception team, who met our requests for a seaview room on day of arrival and late checkout at no extra charge just purely wanting to make our first visit as memorable as possible. Thank you 😊

We had an amazing 10 days at Blue Waters Club in July and are just back from another 7 days. We couldn’t find fault in anything, both holidays were great.. Room, food (maybe savory choices in the snack bar not just cake would be good), facilities, activities, entertainment all excellent and animation team Gem, Kenan, Yusuf, Jamal, Salla and Engin amazing!! We met some really lovely people from all nationalities who we've stayed in touch with from both trips. We’ll definitely be back in 2023 🙂 Ali & Bev

This hotel exceeds our expectation. All staff members are very polite and ready to help guests. I agree with others comments about rooms' quality. But all other things are perfect. The beach and food are amazing. The territory is very big and it is very good advantage. So, I really recommend this hotel as a good place to stay. One more thing: if hotel management can organize some music on the beach then that can be great. Otherwise it is a bit boring.

Unfortunately, the hotel, and especially the room, definitely did not meet the criteria of a five-star hotel. The photos of the room, qualitatively below the declarations made by the Operator, serve as proof. Not as described and defects 1) sea view is a view from a tiny balcony in the direction of the sea 2) the door to the bathroom and toilet did not close systematically. Not only did they not close, but left a gap open. Attempts to intervene at the reception were unsuccessful, I was told that this is the case everywhere, it is due to "safety reasons" 3) the window in the toilet and bathroom did not open. This room was ventilated through the living room. 4) the air conditioning was top-controlled and worked very poorly. It could not be set up by itself 5) a two-room apartment consisted of a bunk bed in the vestibule opposite the toilet door. The things that irritated me may be less important to others: 1) the hotel is adapted to accommodate German-speaking guests and a German lifestyle: any breach of the rules is punished by the staff. As an example, I will give the following event: two young people are jumping from the pier into the water. The lifeguard forbids them and reprimands them. However, this was not the end: security was called in, and the young men were banned from accessing the pier until the end of their stay. It was the same with other forms of loud behavior by adults etc. 2) the area of the hotel is enormous, full of stairs, in the case of moving with a pram, it requires a lot of making up for the road 3) meals are served outside at large square tables. The pairs (two people) are joined by the service of foreign families. No chance for romance and intimacy. Moreover, the heat was very disturbing 4) the beautiful pier in the evenings is unavailable as it is rented for gala dinners 5) my personal impression: as a non-German person, I felt discriminated against and treated worse than other guests 6) no shops etc. around the hotel surroundings Overall: I wish I had chosen this hotel and would definitely not recommend it. I was guided by enthusiastic opinions from Polish websites, but now I can see that they were written several years ago. That clears up many things

Great place to stay with many pools, bars and places to eat. Great beach and continues activity. Rooms perfect, little balcony, but so much to do so no need to go on it. Only issue is staff cater for Germans. Sometimes serving them before anyone else. Only English family at the premises.
