I visited the Sueno Beach Hotel with my husband. I will try to structure this review in a logical manner to provide a better overview. Hotel It is a big complex that offers many different types of accommodation. It is of older construction. The reception area is very large and well appointed. Room and bathroom We were booked into a standard room. It is quite large but rather sparsely furnished. The bed is big and comfortable. The sheets have seen better days and are rather frayed. The bathroom leaves a lot to be desired. There is quite a bit of mold in the shower/bathtub area (see photos). The shower is not really a shower but a bathtub with a glass screen and getting into it is quite an athletic feat. The water pressure is poor. Terrace The terrace is quite large and as good as unfurnished. There are two cheap uncomfortable chairs and a rickety wooden table. It is very uninviting. Restaurants and bars The hotel offers numerous restaurants which are open alternately on different days of the week. We ate at the Turkish restaurant and were highly disappointed. The food was bland to say the least. The drinks were warm. The main dining room consists of a large inside and two smaller outside areas. They are sufficiently clean. The food is bland lacking even the most basic salt and pepper. It is offered plentyfully. There are numerous bars. Unfortunately the barmen do not even know how to make a caipirinha.... ice seems to be a rare commodity and one has to fight for every cube. Pools and beach The pools are quite wonderful. The water quality is superb. The beach is sandy and the water quality of the ocean is impeccable. Staff The staff is mostly friendly but speaks NO english...it is a real struggle to convey anything...even trying to get an ashtray and a straw were a major struggle. Environmental consciousness In this hotel this is almost non-existant. Not wanting a soft plastic cup is tantamount to a crime, and getting a reusable cup is a struggle. In the evening the beach is full of plastic waste (which is cleaned up by the morning). A lot needs to be done to sensitize the staff to how the environment can be spared. General The hotel shuts its airconditioning off at the end of September. As the nights are still around 77F (23 C) sleeping with an open window is nor pleasant. It is made even more unpleasant by loud parties and guests.…

We've enjoyed a beautiful private pool vila room, so cool and relaxing, the best experience. The food was good, a beautiful sandy beach and lots of activities here. We had a great stay and very much recommend this nice hotel in Side, Turkey.

We are more than satisfied with our stay in Sueno Beach hotel. The service, food, beach, area, everything was perfect. Variety of food in snack bar was amazing. We really can not point out any negative thing. Sea was with the softest sand and without any rocks. Beach was huge and perfectly clean. Really our true recommendations!

we were there two families with children for 10 days.we choose this hotel for concerts but we were disappointed not because the turkish singers,because is impossible to find a good table.the best tables always were reserved even 5 days before,but not for hotel guests for hotels managers friends and families and that make me feel valueless and foolish.in the evening of concerts people from outside were coming in and welcomed by managers and taken to the best tables.this hotels behavior makes me blind to see the good sides of it and i will never go back again to sueno hotels.by the way hotel is from 2000s style nothing modern was there you will go back 25 years

Dear Sunche, I'd like to address your recent feedback, as it seems somewhat unfair to judge us based on the information provided. We have a reservations system in place for our concerts, and guests have the opportunity to book their own tables after checking in. Therefore, the statement "reserved a table 5 days before" may not accurately represent the entire situation. I'd like to clarify that we own three hotels in the area, and occasionally, when we have sufficient capacity, Golf and Deluxe Hotel guests may have the option to join the concert through their own car (even sometimes we provide serivc). However, I would like to request that you provide evidence if you believe that we allowed guests from outside or allowed a manager's friend (who is not a Sueno guest) to attend the concert. We take this matter seriously, and it's essential to maintain the integrity of our services. We believe that this platform is meant for sharing genuine experiences, rather than using it as a means to seek revenge for any dissatisfaction. Hotel was generally not bad . Food was nice with a lot of different kinds of meat ,beef , lamb chicken and fishes. Fruits not many choices. Drinks were average but good enough for the price performance of the hotel. Pools were old but still good , kids pool and some fun pools are also good. Territory was small but nice with trees and charming. Rooms are clean , old but satisfying rooms. If some other positive things happening in hotel than this old rooms can be tolerated. —- Negatives: Reataurant workers were mostly welcoming and nice but they react very slow and bot coming to ask what you drink. Even if they come they forget to bring mostly at lobby. Lack of waiters. Reception half of them smiling not positive but some are ok. They dont listen to you if you are telling about your problem. Food court is a chaos , a lot of people and hard to wall without crashing to somebody around. Miniclub for kids are not working all the time. For example it works 3 hours than 3 hours closed. Room cards always not working and you need to go reception and change it always and they dont care about it. They tell you can stay till 14:00pm at hotel at last day and forcing you to leave , i have been to tens of 5 star hotels and first time i had such warning. We left sure before 14:00 but its annoying for people to hear this. Finding a sunbed at beach is so hard near impossible , you may go there before 11:00AM if you want to find free place. Dishes are bot cleaned good , one time even lemon came out from my baileys drink. Fitness room has no trainer or somebody there to control things. All machines are old and rusty , needs to be changed or need maintanence. As a conclusion if those negatives can be solved , i think it would be a perfect hotel . Still bot far to be perfect because those small things can be fixed easily. You know even a small negative can ruin peoples mood and holiday easily. But stll maybe i can try this hotel one more time but i am not sure yet. Thank you ! …

We stayed in standard room. My wife and I were with two sons of four years and nine months. A sofa bed was provided for my older son and there was a relatively good place in the room. Cleaning was done every day and the room and bathroom were clean. There was a balcony in the room. Our view was towards the forest and we could see the sunrise. The room was not luxurious, but it met our needs for a standard room and it was comfortable. The main restaurant of the hotel had a wide variety of food and for us who were from Iran, it was to our liking. There were many small restaurants next to the pool that served different foods and they were really delicious. The hotel has a beautiful private beach and spectacular sunsets. The pools were clean and ready to use. The distinctive feature of this hotel is the facilities provided for children. including the game city, business house, play house and children's restaurant. During our trip, there were two concerts that we had a great time. Another point is the proximity of the hotel to the historical city of Side, which you can visit with a morning walk. Two points that you should keep in mind when choosing this hotel: 1- The family nature of the hotel has caused that there are many children in the hotel, and people who are only couples and have honeymoon plans, etc., should consider this point. 2- One of the strengths of this hotel is the good hotel staff. This was the second time at Sueno Beach Side. Upon arrival we were upgraded for free (and without asking) to a "Lake Villa" room instead of standard room in the main building. We couldn't believe our luck! this villas have they own pools right in front, and instead of a small balcony you have a big wooden patio with 2 sunbeds just for you! Also the area is a beautiful garden, very nicely kept and decorated, and you can use the pools at any time during the day and night, and at every 10 meters there are some jacuzzi-style water jets inside the pools. The water in the pools is a little warmer than in the main pools and also has very low chorine smell - usually we don't like the chlorine smell in hotel pools and avoid them for this reasons, and only bathe in the sea. The only downside is you have to walk for about 5 mins to the main restaurant. But it's worth the effort, for being able to bathe at 1:00 at night in an illuminated pool ! The hotel has a large beach with no problem finding sunbeds even in high season (August) and I believe the largest wooden pier in Side, also full of sunbeds and with a bar in the middle. Besides the main restaurant, there are 2 beach restaurants so you don't have to leave the beach areas during the day. The "Side Street" near-beach restaurant is open between 12 and 16 which is nice, many hotels have shorter timetables. Also the main restaurant has breakfast from 7 to 11 so you don't need to rush in the mornings. The main restaurant food was very good, however there is not much day-to-day variation, but this is not really a problem since the choice is plentiful. There are also 6 a-la-carte restaurants which need a reservation, which we didn't try. There is a waterpark with slides, a "Luna Park" with a big wheel and other rides, a huge "LoliTown" for kids to spend all day at, a lot of pools, a lot of trees so the scorching Antalya sun is not so hard on you. There is a large amphitheater and they have shows every nigh, either local celebrities (which seemed quite popular based on the reaction of the Turkish guests) or show/circus bands, karaoke, etc. There is also an animation team but we don't really care for that, this is one more reason to enjoy the Lake Villas which were very, very quiet. There also is a spa with free access (only the massage and treatments cost extra), a free gym with all the required equipment, etc. The only downside was a guy from the cleaning team, whose job was to use a really long stick with a brush to clean the bottom of the pool, who tried to stop us from using the lake pool after 19:00. All the other cleaners were discreet and didn't say anything to the guests, minding their business even if there were guests in the pool, except this one. The management must take action and check that the personnel is polite and doesn't overstep its duties. Luckily, there was not a big problem because we just waited for him to leave, but still. The cleanliness of the hotel and the room was ok. The minibar was refilled daily with beer, water, cola etc and also there were fridges with water and Ayran throughout the hotel and even on the beach ! They also did a great job of repelling mosquitoes and other insects, despite all this water and gardens, we hardly say any insects. There are however a lot of cats, as everywhere in Turkey, which we love :-) There is even a Cat House and they seem to feed them regularily. The guests were mainly Turks followed by russians and they were not excessively noisy. The personnel is polite and speaks at least minimal English for basic interaction. Based on our previous visits in Side, there are some places on the beach where there are many rocks in the sea, which make the bathing experience less than ideal, even in the area of some more luxurious hotels, but happily, there is not the case for the Sueno beach, there is only fine sand on the bottom! If you like taking a barefoot walk along the beach, the Side old town with the antique ruins and a lot of shops, bars etc is 45 min away. It is worth a visit. We were in Sueno Hotel Beach Side for ten days in the second half of August. We booked this place mainly due to the pictures of the sandy beach and we weren't wrong. The beach is really large, with fine sand and comfortable entrance to the sea. There were also nice waves all the time so we really had lots of fun in the sea. The resort is family oriented and there were mainly families with kids, so it is a bit noisy. During our stay the hotel was full, but there were enough sunbeds and umbrellas at the beach. Not such case at the pools, but we could find place for the towels with a little walk around. The resort is really good. If you have kids this is the perfect place - good beach, many pools, big aqua park and funny splash park in the mini club - favorite place of my son, luna park (not included in the all inclusive, but not expensive) and of course game center with bowling and billiard (also paid). The landscape is really well thought. There are pine trees in the center of courtyard and large pavilions under the trees where you can rest and have a Turkish coffee or tea. Aqua park is near to the beach and other pools so you don't have to walk much. Luna park and game center work till midnight so you don't need to hurry with kids after dinner. There are lots of sports fields, good spa center and fitness. Everything is perfectly organized for the guests. Our room was spacious with large and comfortable beds. The sofa bed was a bit hard for my son, they should add some mattress there. The room had been well cleaned each day, mini bar also filled every day. No problems with shampoos and the other bath accessories, the housekeepers loaded them regularly. Soundproofing needs improvement - we really laughed at kids' outcries from next room, but somebody else would be annoyed for sure. We really liked the cuisine. There were plenty of meat, french fries and pasta for the kids but also lots of delicious local dishes. Recommend all soups, fish and desserts (especially baklava). Everything was fresh and tasty. No problems with finding a table in the main restaurant. We enjoyed all the evening shows, especially the concerts of Sibel Can - really great singer. The most important thing is that the whole staff is really friendly, hard working and with good English and Russian, so there weren't any problem with communication. Overall, great resort with really good service and for reasonable price. Definitely will be back again :)…

The hotel wasn’t as great as I was hoping, the inclusive food isn’t that good. The fish restaurant that I went to yesterday was good and the staff there were excellent and very friendly. We’re at the barbecue restaurant today, and the food is terrible. The meat is so hard. But all the workers are so nice and kind, they go out of their way to try to make us happy. Especially Kerim, he worked so hard for us. If we come back it will because of the super staff like him!
