Excellent hotel with very attentive staff and great service. Cebrail was a brilliant waiter in the restaurant. Facilities were really good and the swimming pools great too. Food was superb during our stay and there was always a good choice of different foods. Close to the beach and an excellent private pontoon area. Would highly recommend this hotel!

My husband and I visited this hotel in September, the hotel itself is very nice, the rooms were nice,good space, modern with everything you need, plenty of shelves, drawers and wardrobe space, fridge, hairdryer, plenty of mirrors. We did notice that not only the hotel but the area is more popular with Russians and Germans than British so did not see many other British tourists in the hotel. Due to covid we did find a number of facilities closed, mainly restaurants so were only able to use the buffet restaurant. I have to say this was our biggest complaint about the hotel, the food is very much tailored towards Germans and Russians and was very repetitive. There were quite a lot of stations in the buffet closed due to staff having to serve the food because of covid. This was very unorganised as there was not enough staff on the open stations and other people not understanding how to queue. Also by the time you got round the different stations and to your table the food was not very warm. Some staff seemed more rude than others especially as we had yellow bands being british, We didn't starve but did get a bit fed up with the same things day in day out so chose to eat out some evenings to break it up. The spa in the hotel was lovely, we had some treatments and the fact you could still use the spa facilities ( sauna, hot stone beds, relaxing loungers, pools) even when you didn't have a treatment was great. Short walk to beach where there was a lovely pontoon going out into the sea as well as plenty of sunbeds and a beach bar & restaurant. Location for us was ok, about 5 minutes on the bus into the middle of side although there were shops and bars along the strip towards side within easy walking distance. Buses run frequently passed the roadend of the hotel and were cheap to use. We used local buses to go to nearby towns and markets easily, all the buses have signs in them to say where they are going and which hotels they stop at. The hotel overall was ok but we only went due to not being able to go to our original destination because of covid, I would not forsee us going back but thats just a personal choice for us.

We arrived at the hotel in the evening around 7pm and were forced to go down to have dinner even though we clearly stated to the man on reception we just wanted our room key. Even after coming back from dinner we were told to go and have a drink in the bar.
There is no WiFi unless you pay a ridiculous price for it which is 2020 is just scandalous.
The food is not good and does not cater for English at all unless you want chips for breakfast lunch and dinner.

We have just returned from an 11 day holiday at this hotel, we were reading the above review from the family from Shropshire and totally agree with the comments. We arrived on Saturday 29th August at midnight tired from the travel from Glasgow, we were offered a drink and told that food was available in the restaurant this was soup and nothing else. T The hotel itself is very clean and lovely decor that's the positive, the negatives are very much as the last review we found the food to be sub standard and poor not hot and we would have expected a greater choice for this standard of hotel, we do understand that the hotel was not operating at full capacity due to the restrictions of Covid, we can say that no social distancing was regulated by the staff or management, the lifts were 2 people or a family this was not monitored again by the staff or management. Air conditioning was not on in any public area which made even having a drink in the reception lounge bar uncomfortable as the temperatures were 36 degrees plus every day. The meal times were to say the least a run the gauntlet to get food with people walking up behind you or shoving in and we found some of them very ignorant to social distancing. Our flight home was not until 23.05 on Tuesday night and you have to check out at 12.00 we asked if we could keep the room on until at least 6.00 but were told by the manager that the room had been allocated to a new guest, he did say that he could give us another room but the cost would be 100 Euro so we did not take to and felt that he had overpriced to put us off. No rep from Jet 2 was available all we got was an envelope at the start of the holiday with very limited information. We will not be going back to this hotel and hope people take note of this and the last reviewers comments all of which are fact.

Excellent hotel with great food and friendly service. We had a sea view room which was very modern and spacious with a small balcony. We had a problem with some of the bar/restaurant (male) staff understanding English which was a tad annoying as we have been on holiday to Turkey for many years and not experienced this in hotels before. Suggest the management sort this unless they only want German/Russian guests returning. S Club beach bar was a bit strict on closing time 6pm as we tried to get a refill at 17.45 and they refused to serve as they were busy chatting…it’s an open-air bar so people stay drinking after 6pm and just leave empty glasses on the table/bar so bit unfriendly. Nice place to watch the sunset btw. Only 2 channels in English on the TV which were both news. The aircon was ok at the end of September but not sure it would cope in July/August unless it is stepped up at source? Good news was that your key card is not used to keep electric/aircon going so you can go out and leave on if wanted. Extensive choice of very good food in the buffet restaurant and you can also go to one of the 2 specialty restaurants free with drinks once per each week stay. The 2 ladies in the bar near reception were super-efficient and spoke perfect English! We read in previous reviews that different nationalities had different colour wrist bands but we didn’t notice this and everyone appeared to be treated the same way. The Sense has a great private pontoon off the beach with safe stairs into the sea with a life guard on duty. If you want to get a sunbed/umbrella on the pontoon you had better get there early. We got there at 9.15am and got two single beds and move them together but most beds had towels on with no sign of people to lay on them! The second time we got there at 9am and it was the same thing. A row of 10 beds had towels/books etc on but were still empty at noon (3 hours later) so I asked the bar staff to remove so other people could use and he refused saying he wasn’t allowed. I showed him a photo of the sign which says do not reserve sunbed’s but he was not interested. I mentioned this to Guest Relation’s and the Turkish lady said they should remove after 2 hours and would have a word … guessing nothing gets followed through and this happens daily as this must have been a much worse situation earlier in the season with many more guests. The guy who moves sunbeds around said he was the first person on the pontoon and the row of sunbeds I mentioned were already reserved with towels! They must put them down very early in the morning! Not good enough so MANAGEMENT please sort this out for both the pontoon and around the pool. Apart from a couple of gripes we would definitely return though as we had a great time and we were impressed with the overall experience and I wake up early if the pontoon reserving is still going on! I would put the hotel on a par with Paloma Perissia and Side Star Elegance nearby which cost twice as much.

Me and my wife have just returned from a pleasant weeks holiday at the sense delux hotel.after having an hour flight delay, we arrived just before 9.00 pm, and was asked if we would like to attend dinner before the restaurant closed, which we duly did, then on our return was directed to our room, which was one of only 13 within the hotel. A very pleasant room in general,which was a swim up room. although at first the air con didn’t work, along with the safe, and there was an initial smell in the room which resembled drains that needed unblocking. We notified reception about the safe, and air conditioning, which were promptly rectified, although unfortunately the air conditioning in the room, and across the whole hotel was very poor, and what we would call non existent. Regarding the smell, we thought we would allow it 24 hours to see if it abated before mentioning it, in which it did settle down slightly, so left it at that without reporting.
In general the hotel is well kept, clean and provides everything you need. A word of warning for any English visitors, good luck if you meet any others, they are pretty non existent, and we felt massively not catered for on the food front, it is a massively German/Russian oriented hotel and felt the poor culinary experience we had was a big disappointment, so be prepared for a struggle at meal times if your British.we didn’t really get involved in the entertainment, and we went out of the property some times for meals in side. The towel hire was ok, but limited to two towels only, and they were thread bare, and of very poor standard, it’s the little things that would make this hotel an actual 5 star hotel, and not a 4 which we would give it. Nice location, close to a very nice beach. Staff were hit and miss, some very miserable, the odd one or two cracked a smile, mainly to the German clientele. Overall a 7/10 for us, and not sure on a return to the hotel with certain issues, but would return definitely to the area of side.

Just returned after a seven night stay and had a really nice relaxing holiday. Hotel is nice and clean and the food in the restaurant was excellent, nice, fresh, hot and plenty to choose from. I liked that the chief’s cooked some of the meals in front of you and were always accommodating and polite. Waiters were polite and friendly and were quick to ensure you4 table was cleared and to offer drinks.
The pool area was lovely and clean and staff were always coming around the pool area ensuring that it was clean and tidy. The pools were clean and no unpleasant smells at all. I liked that there was a adults only pool area.
Staff at the pool green bar were also friendly and couldn’t fault them. The pool snack area was clean and tidy and my only complaint would be is that the food was sometimes just warm and repetitive, chicken strips, fried onions, chips, pasta , pizza, burgers, hot dogs and salad everyday but saying that you could go to the main restaurant and have more choice if you want but for me personally I like my food hot.
Entertainment team where present and did do activities which I was surprised to read one review say that they were disappointed? Darts, yoga, water activities, beach ball games were all offered, not that I joined in but the team were never pushy when coming around the pool area and would make conversation. Daily activities were also posted on the notice board.
I noticed that they also had children team but as I did not have any children cannot comment.
Spa is available and staff would come around offering leaflets and inform you what they had on offer but again this is something I did not participate in however staff were present and it appeared busy when picking up pool towels which the hotel offered .
Rooms were very clean and tidy and room service every day. The fridge was stocked daily with water, bottles of pop and also tea and coffee available in the rooms. Hairdryer, safe, air conditioning were also in rooms.
Shopping is excellent and only a short walk (10 min) away with also bars and restaurants.
My overall experience has been really positive and would recommend The Sense De Luxe Hotel and would definitely return in the future.

The hotel, although it doesn't look much from outside, is beautiful inside and always spotlessly clean. The private pontoon is lovely & by far the best along that stretch of beach. The sea is rocky in areas but still accessible. We saw lots of fish & went snorkeling off the pontoon. Our room was modern, although word of warning, the air con only went as low as 18 degrees, which wasn't cool enough for us. Our air con also went off several times & had to be turned off at the mains to get it back on. The toilet & shower doors were also glass and could be viewed from every area within the bedroom. We also couldn't access the safe 3 times within the room & had to wait in for guest services to come & open it for us & reset it. The pool area was beautiful, lots of activities & a fun foam party one afternoon which we thoroughly enjoyed. The entertainment staff worked very hard & were very friendly making an effort to speak to all guests. You can also collect fresh towels daily from the spa to use at the beach/pool. The thing that let this hotel down for us was the food. The hotel mainly caters for Germans & there were very few Brits at the hotel. The meat was not always cooked through & things like burgers & kebabs were not like British burgers & kebabs. The desserts, whilst they looked amazing, were not tasty at all & all very similar. You can't get ice cream in the main restaurant either. There was plenty of salad & fruit but it wasn't to our taste. You cannot get an English cup of tea & the coffees are very small cups. The orange juice at breakfast tasted watered down & no English breakfast food at all although you could get chips, I mean who wants chips for breakfast! We enjoyed the holiday but probably won't be back to this hotel, we were ready for home after a week.

This is a fabulous hotel and certainly worthy of its five stars. My room was clean and comfortable with plenty of wardrobe and drawer space, tea and coffee making facilities and a bathrobe and slippers provided. The fridge was full of bottles of water and soft drinks and was kept well stocked. There was a room safe provided free of charge.
The decor of the hotel is beautiful and all areas are kept immaculately clean. It's a short walk down to the beach bar which has a large terrace overlooking the beach. Drinks and snacks are included the same as at the bars and patisserie inside the hotel. There's a promenade by the beach which goes all the way into Side.
I didn't visit the spa although it was highly recommended and treatments were at a reasonable price. There are several shops in the hotel including a hairdresser, clothes shop shop, jeweller and a shop selling things such as sun creams.
The food in the hotel was excellent, a vast selection and all good quality. I particularly enjoyed the fish, lots of variety, well cooked and tasty. The restaurant was a pleasant area and the waiters were very helpful.
There were very few British guests at the hotel, it's particularly popular with German guests but this wasn't a problem at all. The staff treated us with the same friendly and courteous attitude as they did the other guests.
I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone who is thinking of staying there.
