I was apprehensive with some mixed reviews. We arrived late due to flight delay. Check in was smooth and efficient. The porter swiftly brought our bags up so we could sleep. Then the holiday commenced, well what can we say, it was brilliant. Not quite the five star we are used to but the tired rooms and Inefficient air con was insignificant as the staff are incredible. Our room was kept spotless and cleaned quite early every day. Mini bar topped up. Food in buffet restaurant was vast, really something for everyone, I’m not a buffet person but so much at times I ate a little and couldn’t be bothered to look at all on offer. We went to the Turkish a la carte, well you couldn’t fault this, we had to stop the guys bringing more food, we felt so bad as we just couldn’t eat another thing, but they did bring a fabulous Turkish dessert, omg it was like a very thin crepe with a sweet paste inside and homemade ice cream, just Devine!!! One a la carte is given but we were offered a couple after some stupid Russian tried to press the doors of the lift closed and my mums arm was stuck in the door, Black from bruising. It wasn’t the hotels fault but they tried to make every thing better. Sadly mum had to be taken to hospital, we had had the most amazing service from the Guest relations team, Melek, Anastasia, the whole team were totally and utterly incredible. I was contacted and helped every step of the way. Eventually when mum came out, I was called and asked what or how they could help. Constant support and help, it was incredible!!! We even had a beautiful fruit arrangement sent to our room, Anastasia thought mum might just fancy some fruit!!! She looked after mum and me, I’m so grateful to her but the whole guest re,actions team are the best I have ever come across and would have liked to speak to the GeneralManager to tell him but Managers do not mingle and speak to their guests, one exception the brilliant assistant food and beverage manager!!! I did speak to him on many occasions as my Son is on a General Managers programme and interacts and communicates with his guests on a daily basis, this here was disappointing. IHG, Four Seasons and Rixos we always chat and are asked about our vacation, not here, this I don’t feel is good. Anyway the managers are irrelevant as the staff are wonderful but I’ll say it again BEST ever GUEST relations and I’ve travelled a lot, all over the world and this was my 5th holiday this year, trying an Iberostar selective hotel next weekend, they have a lot to live up to with a perfect guest relations team!!!! The little guys who go around the pool and restaurants cleaning are amazing too, it’s so clean, drop a crumb and they see it and whoosh it’s gone. Facilities are great as are animation team. Pools loved. Used the gym, pretty good. Great yoga. Please send a huge thanks to all, keep up this incredible work, if I could give 10 stars I would and I’m not usually that generous👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏…
