Came on a last minute 7 night family trip with my sister and two teenage daughters. The first room we were given was below standard. We complained and our room was changed in the morning to a much more satisfactory room. Initially, restaurant and bar staff were extremely rude and we also complained to the hotel manager and our tour rep. After this, the staff were fake friendly as we had complained. There were 3 members of staff who were brilliant and nothing was too much. Hotel cleanliness was very good and food was of an excellent standard. Local spirits were watered down and it was only worth drinking wine or reki. Generally a good stay. Definitely not 5* as much of the furniture was worn and in need of replacement.
This was our 2nd visit to the lovely Linda Resort Hotel. Apart from the short, 1 euro price of a dolmuş to Side (which we adore!), the hotel is wonderfully comfortable, with the warmest, friendliest staff. To get the negative stuff out of the way first... our initial room was totally underwhelming when we arrived; small, with a tiny balcony. Nothing like the room on our first trip. Spoke to reception the following morning, and we were given an alternative room without any problems. They wanted us to enjoy our stay, and put the problem right without fuss or questions. The other difference between this stay and the last, in 2014, is that, we weren't offered food and drink on arrival. (2am, after travelling a total of 12 hours to get there). Too late to make alternative arrangements, so we stayed hungry. Our final criticism is that, unlike our last trip, the animation team (if there was one this year) never came round and engaged with guests. This is a shame, as we made good friends with them last time around. Right, onto the positive stuff! The Linda could have done no more to make us feel safe from Covid. Proper social distancing signs (but might have been better printed in LARGE font for Russians!) Temperature checks whenever we entered the restaurant. Chefs to serve, rather than self serve, to avoid everyone using the same serving spoons, and so much sanitiser you could bathe in it. Seriously, the tables were well spread apart, and EVERY ONE had its own bottle of sanitiser. As did every lift. We felt safer here than at home in Britain. Now... forget EVERY negative review about the staff. They are ALL absolutely charming and attentive. If their English isn't so good (which we did sometimes find to be the case), it's because so few Brits have discovered the beautiful south coast of Turkey. And given the behaviour/reputation of a large number of Brits, thank the Lord for that. Don't go and spoil it for those of us who love and appreciate it. If you struggle to make yourselves understood in English, why not make an effort to learn some Turkish. I promise you, you'll enjoy your experience there so much more. Even a simple please and thank you goes a long way. The food at the Linda is lovely. There's something for everyone. Yes, it might get a bit 'samey' if you are there for a fortnight, but that's the nature off all inclusive. The chefs can't cater for each individual guest. And then there's potential waste to think of. To anyone complaining, I would say, be realistic. They are producing hearty fresh meals. If you want Michelin quality food, don't go all inclusive. Many reviewers complain that Linda isn't five star. By British standards, it isn't. It's an absolute maximum of 4. But hey, all hotels abroad (even in the UK) make similar claims. For us, the Linda is somewhere we would DEFINITELY come for a third visit.…

Myself and partner stayed at Linda resort last week having thought it would never happen due to Covid. All in all we enjoyed our stay, pools and pool areas were clean and comfortable, our room was decent (not the best view) and were cleaned everyday. Only the main buffet was open however the evening selection and snack bar selection was tasty and always fresh. I only have 2 real negatives, firstly breakfast was poor probably due to our personal tastes (couldn’t wait to get back for a full English) and due to the hotel being predominantly German and Russian tourists the hotel staff barely speak a word of English and some of the staff came across as a little rude. The chap who greated us at the main entrance (little blue suit) was a superstar and carted our bags up and down on arrival and departing and we’d go back just for him. All in all we had a pleasant stay just don’t expect 5* hotel in the Maldives, it’s totally different to 5* Turkey!!…
It was a perfectly holiday at last week in Linda Resort.Amazing main restaurant kitchen, beautiful and relaxing rooms, very relaxing and clean pools and more. All of the personals are very kindly and good workers especially a waiter in main restaurant. He named Hatip and he is a exceptional young man and a good waiter. Thanks for Hatip and the other crew for our good pasting holiday...
We booked this hotel on the basis that it was 5 star with lots of activities and all inclusive and booked in from 24/12/19 to 5/01/20. Upon arrival we were given a twin family room but had booked a double bed room. We had indeed received confirmation from the hotel that this room was booked and we would get a nice room. The receptionist said we would need to return the next day (Christmas day) at 10 to change the room to our booked room. He made it clear we could not keep a family room. The room was absolutely disgusting. The curtains torn off, the bedding dirty, the room in disrepair and mould. We were so unhappy but as they could not provide us with another room stuck it out. Although all inclusive was told dinner finishes at 20h30 and then there would be no food until soup at 23h00 to 00h00. The food was awful. Very low quality. We didn't eat that night. The next day we went to reception at 10 as requested only to be told that we needed to come back the next day. Still no room free. The lift had broken and workmen on Christmas day were repairing it all day and smoking in the hotel whilst on the job. We asked about activities and we're told these are light as it's not summer time. There was literally nothing to do. The customers were mostly pensioners and a lot of alcohol was being consumed. We don't drink alcohol so did not like the many Russians drinking so much then being loud and disruptive. There was nothing special done for Christmas day. Not even Turkey. So again very dissatisfied. The next day went back to reception to change the room. They tried to give us a ground floor room but my partner said no we asked for double room and requested quiet high up. We were given one on 5th floor so moved. Again no activities that day and food absolutely horrible. That night we realised the bed coils were poking out of mattress so we complained to housekeeping. Was told cannot change as hotel busy. So they put a double duvet on the matrass and a single in top to cover my partner and me. We were furious. But despite complaining nobody cared. Asked for refund refused. By now we realised that we were literally stuck there. No activities food only limited times and very dirty hotel. Mould, disrepair, dirty. We fell ill both of us for 3 days had to go to the pharmacy to get meds. Management smoking behind reception in office of this non smoking hotel. When we complained was told no one smoking. There is nothing good at this hotel and customer service non existing. Upon return home sent a complaint email and the Respondent became so personal saying that we had a holiday very cheap at that hotel. I could not contain myself. We paid a lot more from England then the Russians did so took offense to that. Was asked why we complained about having to pay 2euros for a cola and 2 euros for coffee and how much does it cost in UK. Imagine, we go to an all inclusive hotel and then need to pay for some drinks. And when we complain are asked to look at our own UK places. Terrible place.…
Ok let us start with a truefact,im a world traveller with many year under my belt so this is NOT a first time hotel review but is my most bizarre so far Okey lets start with some creepy 1 world s...,yes they start the day att the hotel with a rooster on the speaker and then guten morning guten morning(good morning) music from germany, thats total F..... up for every body from other parts of the world, and for my first time ever i had to put my review outside the hotel to,everypart in side like on the bus, taxi, shops lets brake it down to everywear in side and the hotel,i mean everywear, yes the first language you encounter is GERMAN AND RUSSIAN everywear, they have taken over everything and its f.... up thats turkish people has been that stupid and let german/russian take over everything, remember that german and russian is a very small world languages, some parts they cannot speak english but perfect german and russian, except from that the hotel is partial clean, had very good food but is the same day after day, comfy beds, excellent staff except for the manager in the restaurant part, but i had 3 rooms here because of room number 1 had hot water issues, room number 2 had internet problems and my 3 room is fine except for no sound proofing att the toilet plumbing so i can hear everything that coming from the top very loud and the cleaning of my room was missing for 3days, its a shame that i as a customer have to prove my point everytime there was something wrong is not good, you get that feeling they dont trust you. beside that was the pool outside cold, the hotel its very worn down and it should have been a free minisafe and the hotel is more like a 4 star hotel and thats not the german/russian problems in calculated in the review…
We arrived at the hotel upon checkin we were given a little room for family 3 adults and a 2 half yr old. However I was told few occasion that they will change our room on the third day I given up asking. Reception staff was extremely ignorant and no customer satisfaction. Each excuses were poorly! List of things to be aware of before booking this hotel which I took pictures. If you are expecting 5* don’t. 1.. you have to pay for your WiFi 2.. for pool towel you need to get card of reception which cost you money 3.. you have to pay for safe 4.. travel cot (see pictures) dangerous 🤦♀️ 5.. cracked all over the walls 6.. bathroom is extremely small. My husband had to sit side ways as it was no room for his leg. 7.. sink was all lose This is the issues we had which I didn’t expect to see as it was 5*…
very lovely hotel its my second time im here with my family. dont miss wedensdays nights. clean pool good animation team polite staff cleaning rooms every day nice foods good internet thanks to manager and staff
Great hotel and staff are friendly. Food is off good quality and they have a massive Turkish night on a Wednesday. Althought the hotel comes up as in side, it's actually outside side. It costs around €10 in a taxi for side. The market in side is good for cheap fakes. The hotel has some nice little shops outside. Five minute walk to their all inclusive beach. Also right outside the front, although we never went to it as the hotel has slides in their pool. Two pools here. One busy with the slides and the main pool is quieter. I'd recommend this hotel if your looking for a chilled family place. WiFi isnt great in the rooms and sometimes is impossible to receive.
