I will not stay anywhere else. Gazza pasha star hotel in Side , is a small family run hotel, so welcoming every visit, it's so personal when you are not just a paying guest your made to feel part of there extended family, they keep in touch during the year. Mehmet is the 100% best member of staff, he works so hard , multi tasking most days, last year he still was serving food in the rain lol. Rooms are clean. So many things to see and visit all close, You can take a bus free from hotel to the beach, or it's a beautiful walk , passing through the ruins/bars/ shopping centre.
I have stayed at this Hotel 7 times now and will continue to book whenever possible...its budget friendly and its the only place I have stayed where I can honestly say you are treated like part of the family...nothing is too much trouble and it's the little things that make the difference...everyone is on 1st name terms...Mehmet is 1 in a million and will keep you laughing from start to finish...Seyda greets everyone with a smile and warm welcome...the food is great and the themed nights are well worth it...rooms are clean and the staff always have a smile in passing...free bus service daily to the private beach and a 15 min walk into Old Side which is stunning on a night time...I have stayed in hotels all over Turkey but its Gazipasa Star that I always return to as your not just a number but part of the family.…
Been going to this Hotel now for about 8 years now usually twice a year Reception is managed by Seyda who speaks excellent English and also very friendly and helpful also in this area there is a well stocked shop la⁶ courtesy bus takes you and picks you up which is helpful. On a saturday just outside the Hotel there is a huge Market also shops and supermarkets bars and restaurants. A walk down to visit the old ruins which will take about 25 mins is well worth it very Historical. Overall the Gazipasa star is a very enjoyable relaxing place to stay you go as strangers but definitely leave as friends
The folks here go all out to meet everyone's needs. Nothing is too much. Really friendly atmosphere. You find that you come once, meet friends then come back again. Mehmet the bar man is one of life's unforgettable characters, genuine to the core and will do everything in his power to make your holiday the best it can be. It is a family run hotel and their passion and hospitality is outstanding, treating your family as there own. Visited 3 times, strongly recommend.
