Actually, yes there is. But from my experience you can always ask them politely and they give in eventually. But don't forget, this age limit is always for the protection of your children. While my stay I saw a little girl whose nose was bleeding because of an accident at the slides. They bothered the lifeguards so much that he gave in even though he warned his family of the consequences. So think wisely.
