Do not listen to the bad reviews, I was panicking as all the reviews came in after we had booked but just be open minded. Your holiday is what you make of it ! We had the best week holiday, we would definitely go back ! The food is good, always something for you to eat whether it be chicken, lamb/beef or fish at nights and dinner in the restaurant. The beach bar was a massive hit for us at dinner time, fresh pizzas, chips and salad. They also do chicken nuggets, chips, salad and burgers at the pool bar which was lovely. I seen a review about flies around your tables at dinner and tea time, we hardly seen any. The room itself was lovely, cleaned everyday if you switch the sign on by the door in your room, mini bar was stocked up daily, towels were swapped daily, and the shower was super powerful which is always good on holiday ! People who have complained really must be very picky about the room because the only thing we seen were splashes on the paint as it was matte but again it’s honestly nothing you can’t look past ! The slides were fun, there’s always a life guard on duty round that area which is good, music on by the pool again if your picky it could seem abit load but there’s always other pools you can sit by that’s less loud. The night entertainment seemed good for children, lasted till about half past 10, the only issue was the entertainment for adults, they need abit of music or live singer around the terrace where the lobby bar is but there was a few of us so we just made our own entertainment. The beach is lovely and clean, changing rooms and showers down there, also option to do water sports for extra too. We did a boat trip on a pirate ship boat for 25 euro each, would definitely recommend ! Dinner and soft drinks included, we jumped of the boat into open water in the sea, we had a foam party on there, a belly dancer, face paints for children and pictures with a parrot to take home, honestly we had such a great day, we booked that down on the beach. The beach is probably about a 10 minute walk but it’s literally 5 minutes on the FREE shuttle bus which was good, they come every 15 minutes. I also seen a review about none of the workers speaking English, the maids do not really speak much but the majority of the staff knew English. When we arrived at Antalya airport we was told it was going to be 1 hour and 15 minutes but it was more like 45 minutes which was good. There’s not a lot of bars and restaurants nearby but there is around 3 round that area. Our favourite was the titanic bar, cocktails were lovely there. There’s loads of markets that were good to visit within 5 minutes walk. Great family holiday, would definitely recommend.

Just returned from Side, 3rd time, and I never get bored of this beautiful place. We stayed at the Side Crown Serenity, it’s not actually in Side so people should be aware of this. It’s about 20 mins on the dolmas which is €2 and it’s directly outside so very easy. This was perfect for us as we like to get out and explore. The hotel is lovely, staff are fantastic, really can’t do enough for you. Rooms were comfortable, (3007) we had ground floor with small terrace. Was overlooking pool area but due to the amount of plants outside it was obscured, we quite liked that but others might not! Big thanks to lovely lady in guest relations who sorted out a late check out for us due to our flight being changed to very late night one! Much appreciated. The hotel is spotless, food and drinks plentiful, you won’t go hungry or thirsty, always something on offer. Wifi is not great, but worked in main bar area and room, and wherever you go in the bars and restaurant they are always happy to connect you so communication isn’t an issue really. Definalty recommend the Side museum and amphitheater, so amazing to see all the artefacts, and it’s only about £6 to get in both. Shopping is amazing if you like a good ‘fake’!

I don't understand what the bad reviews are about. We've just got home and had a fab time. Staff, service and location was perfect. Areas being cleaned continuously. Room serviced daily. Fridge replenished with soft drinks daily. Bottled water available around the hotel. Pools, one with slide clean. Staff looked happy and friendly. Ismail, serving in lounge bar,was always smiling and makes a great cocktail. When they ran out of mint for our Mojito, he picked some from his garden. Yes they are not premium spirits but you don't pay premium prices. Will and his Animation team kept us entertained with water aerobics, water polo, darts and dance workout. Join in or sit and watch. The adults evening entertainment only lasted for half an hour but that may be due to being early season but it did not spoil our holiday, we met some wonderful people and had great fun. I'm a fussy eater but found something substantial at each meal time. The chef's also cook fresh dishes to order. The cakes and deserts were wonderfully presented. There are 3-4 shops in the hotel and they do encourage you to go in and buy , however not as persistent as shop owners outside The beach has an all inclusive bar and serves a tasty buffet lunch. Plenty of sunbeds available. Free shuttle to beach which runs continuously, or a 12-15 min stroll. Advise to get shuttle to beach first time. We walked and ended up quite a way away and there is a slight hill on the way back which may not suit everyone. The hotel has a dolmus stop outside where you can travel into Manavgat or Side for 2Euros pp each way and take roughly half hr, dependant on pick ups en route. There are also many shops, stalls, bar and restaurants across the road from the hotel but be prepared to be hassled in the shops, although this seems to be all across European countries and not just here. The music round the pool during the day was too loud for my liking, I like to lie and relax with background music. The rooms were a little noisy, you could hear guests in the next room talking and doors banging close by. Our room was situated over the rear entrance to the hotel so we had noise from empty beer barrels bring rolled out early morning and the refuge bin collection but ear plugs helped dull that. All in all great value for money and I'm glad I didn't let the bad reviews put me off from booking. Thoroughly enjoyable stay. Thank you Crown Serenity
