Thank you Mustafa and his partner and son for our wonderful stay at your beautiful hotel and going above and beyond to make our family reunion special ❤️. My room was beautiful and clean and had the most amazing sea view. The brekki was great and loved the turkish tea we had every day. I would highly recommend this lovely family owned hotel and hopefully will be back one day.

My partner and I stayed here for a week beginning of October. We arrived late at night, around 1am. The transfer bus was not allowed to take us to the hotel but the walk was short, so not a problem. The owners were waiting for us and led us to our room. The room was very small and had side aspect. In the morning we asked to be moved to a bigger room and if possible with sea view. The owner was very good and that was arranged quickly. Our second room had a balcony, sea view and more space. The air conditioning was working but we didn’t use it much. We left windows open all night which was enough. The mosque is close and you can hear early morning prayer call. I got used to it after first couple of days and it didn’t wake me up. Breakfast was plentiful, boiled egg, cheese, olives, salad, fruit, jam, honey and couple of different breads. It was enough for me to last me till dinner. The room wasn’t cleaned during the week, towels were not changed or bins emptied. With so many restaurants to chose from in Side we didn’t eat dinners here. Also WiFi is very good. We enjoyed staying in Antik part of the city and in a traditional pansion so we were very happy with our choice. ,)

Avoid this hotel unless there are no other options. The only reason this hotel merits 2 stars is that they gave me a 50TL reduction on my room. My room was supposed to be 300TL with taxes and everything, but after complaining about the false advertisement of having free parking at the hotel, they gave me 50TL off because I had to figure out where the parking lot and bus station into the old town was, followed by walking a few hundred meters. The only reason I chose this hotel for the night I spent in the old town was because of the free parking. As a few other people have commented, they don't seem to have rooms available despite what is booked. It's unclear if the booking discrepancy was what hotels.com sent them or not because my reservation clearly showed multiple times that I should have a double bed. The hotel receptionist/owners son who spoke a little English pulled up what he had received (in Turkish) and said it didn't mention a double bed reservation. As a number of other posts have mentioned too, the "sheets" could be upgraded. The ones in my room were super scratchy, and the bed was quite uncomfortable in general. The towels were of questionable cleanliness, and where there should have been a shower curtain to keep the water from the shower in the shower area, there wasn't one causing just about everything in the bathroom to get wet during my shower. Having lived in Turkey for almost a year, and having vacationed and worked here for short periods multiple times in previous years, this place had one of the worst breakfasts I've seen (including hotels with cheaper B&B rates). The fruit and veggie quality was poor and the cheese, meat, egg, and bread availability was minimal and low quality. The only other redeeming factor of this hotel besides getting the 50TL reduction was the proximity to restaurants and the beach and the ruins.

I loved this hotel. The facilities are very good, it's quiet and it's one minute to the beach. The staff were lovely despite the language barrier I felt very attended to. The breakfast is excellent. The decor may be slightly dated in spots but in general this is a very good small budget hotel in a beautiful location.

Stayed for a week in this lovely little hotel. Rooms basic but very clean. Take a travel kettle! The friendliest, nicest staff, I have ever come across. Very little English spoken but we got there with Google translate and lots of laughs. Would definitely visit again. Thank you Hussein and Co.

I stayed at villa Onemli for a week at the beginning of May with my partner and absolutely loved it, after our late arrival (2am) one of the owners of the hotel was waiting for us to arrive and take us to our room and even offered us tea which was a lovely gesture at such a late hour. The breakfast provided was simple but perfect for setting you up for the day and certain items were changed daily. The lady who also ran the hotel was kind enough to bring me some food to our room the next morning as I was tired from our long journey and missed breakfast. Rooms are cleaned daily to a very high standard. And only a 20 second walk to the beach. From the moment we arrived we felt completely at home and the two owners couldn't do enough for us, communicating over google translate was good fun and we learned a little Turkish too ! Would definitely recommend for a relaxing holiday. Thank you for your kindness villa Onemli ! We hope to return soon.

Only about 20 paces from the sea but one block back from the front in a much quieter area. Good breakfasts, olives, cheese, bread, eggs, tomatoes & fruit but with the unheard of addition of freshly cooked gozleme (pancakes) and a sort of pakora thrown in too! Good hosts too, my only complaint would be they changed the sheets more often than needed! Writing this on our terrace on the last night before going home in the morning so you see they have wifi and there's aircon too. Would recommend to anyone except those seeking a 5* place. This is traditional Turkish in the old part of town away from the big all inclusive hotels. Not much English spoken though.

Everyone should stay here in you visit Side. The homemade food is honestly better than the food prepared by the restaurants, the staff are helpful with finding areas in Side, and the rooms are clean; all for a very good price. Thanks to all at hotel onemli!

I highly recommend this sweet little boutique hotel of Antik Side. Very nice and helpfull owner and staff, very clean and quiet rooms and excellent breakfast with homemade specialities served in the garden that looks like paradise with all its trees and flowers. Beach is just a few meters away. Large choice of restaurants in the neighbourhood. Many shops around.
