We stayed here in August for 1 week, hotel is nice with lovely grounds, good pools and drinks, food is the same each day more variety needed, the entertainment is very much aimed for the Russians, the things that really let this hotel down is firstly there are cats everywhere, I do not mind cats but not in inside the dining areas! think there is an hygiene issue here! 2nd the bar staff are very rude, they will always serve their favourites first, waiters are very unhelpful and also have their favourites, IE Turkish and the Russians! the rest they have no time for! cleaners missed cleaning our room twice and bed sheets never changed! All in all it was a disappointing holiday as we was expecting 4*plus but instead got 3* This is a nice hotel let down by the staff and mangers using the excuse that the language barrier is to blame instead of the lack of training for their employees?

I very recently stayed at this hotel with my husband and our two children. The hotel is large, rooms are split over a number of different buildings across site. We stayed in the main building in a ground floor room near to the lobby. Our room was tired, not worthy of 5 stars. It was adequate however was not cleaned once during our two week stay. Bedding was not changed either however clean towels were provided every day and the mini bar replenished (soft drinks and water). The facilities were good. We spent most of our time at the Splash Pool where the children loved the three water slides, lots of fun however be warned they are not open all day. Lifeguard on duty although on one occasion the life guard thought it would be more fun to remove his shirt and whistle and play along with a group of teenagers. Breaking all the rules they had heavily enforced throughout our stay so far. My two children were not allowed to travel down a slide together for example however this life guard saw nothing wrong with joining five teenagers in laying across an inflatable and flying down the slide into the splash pool where small children were disembarking the other slides! A farce! Especially when this meant for about thirty minutes while he 'played' there was no life guard on duty. Toilets by pool DISGUSTING. Rarely any soap (take hand sanitizer with you). Queues at bars very long often with only 1 person serving. My only other complaint would be that three out of four of us developed a serious stomach upset about four days prior to coming home. I spoke to guest relations as this was following eating at one of the restaurants. I should add that this was one of two restaurants you have to pay extra. I didn't mind paying extra and in fact I did so to use the spa, the parasailing and the steak house also. However as three of us were sick - and two of us still unwell, I took the time to speak to guest relations. I reported the issue - my 12 year old spent a day in bed but was not even offered an apology just told 'well nobody else was sick'!! Upon checking out I was upset to see they insisted on charging me for this restaurant despite the fact we had been very unwell. Says everything you need to know about their Customer Service. A shame really as it left a bitter last taste of the resort. Positives: very close proximity to beach and activities there were lots of fun - we went parasailing twice and there was plenty of other things to do. Food good, snack bar adequate for lunch and although not a huge variety was always tasty. Entertainment in amphitheatre very good - particularly loved by my 12 year old who loved the dancing and the circus evenings. Lobby very good. Bar open 24 hours and fully air conditioned. Speaking of which, air con in all the rooms and no restrictions. Some waiters were exceptionally helpful. Plenty of activities however some were cancelled without warning, on one occassion my husband and son stood waiting at archery for 20 minutes before giving up. A detailed plan of events would be a good idea - we nearly missed the Marvel film showing on the pier as had no idea there was a movie evening planned however pleased to say my son enjoyed this. Overall I would rate this hotel a strong 3 stars, possibly 4 in some areas.

We visited as a family of 7 with varying ages and found this hotel had something for each of us. The food was very good and always had variety. The 5 a la Carte restaurants were definitely worth visiting. Had to book a day in advance but this was not a problem. The staff were friendly and helpful. The best welcome at reception we have ever received as you sit down in comfort with a drink and the staff come to you. Plenty of sun loungers and not squashed together. The pool is large and warm so spent loads of time in there to cool down. Found that euros is the easiest currency to use so don’t bother with Liras. Side town centre is only a 10 minute taxi (€8 for 7 people) or a 40 minute beach walk away. The resort is very large and we were given 3 rooms together, so this was great. WiFi is good all around the resort and free. Would definitely go back again.

We are a fun, young at heart couple in our 40’s and early 50’s and found that there were plenty of things going on during the day and night to keep us entertained. We enjoyed the foam pool party, and the white party, which is held on the hotels pier where everyone dresses in white the most fun, we literally danced all night and the girls dancing on their dancing pods were amazing too we felt like we were at a London night club. At the very back of the hotel on the beach side past the theatre they play dance music and have an outside bar late at night but don’t advertise this, we literally found it by change following the base line we could hear in the distance you could easily mistake it for the hotel next door! Music is really good house music. Don’t be put off though if you like quite. This hotel has something for everyone and I mean everyone, there are plenty of quieter areas in and around the hotel, and lots for the kiddies to do too. Food is nice and plentiful but by day 4 it all started to taste the same. I’m not sure if it was the oil they used or just mass catering. I did start to get bored of it as you realise it’s pretty much the same every day. It was ok for our 7 day stay but if I were here for 2 weeks I probably would have ended up eating out. Lymphatic massage in the spa was out of this world. Highly recommend. Gym ok but be sure to get the air con turned down it was too warm in there some days and the air con was turned up to 24c Bedroom a bit in the small side to the point only one of us could walk past the bed at a time. Bed out of this world. Room super clean. Air con not cool enough for 40c heat even on its coolest. No iron in room or available to hire. Coffee sachets and creamer always given but only 3 of each, each day which was strange as 2 of us shared a room and if we both wanted another coffee one of us had to go without. Not the best beach I’ve been on in Turkey in my opinion a little unkept and in need of some attention so we spent most of our days by the pool the atmosphere was better there anyway and I enjoyed the music they played so much so I shazamed most of it and made my own play list. My negatives are all very minor and didn’t spoil our time here at hotel Turquoise. Did we have an amazing holiday? YES. Would we return? NO, but only because we have very high expectations from staying in many 5* properties in the past. And there’s just so many other beautiful hotels and areas in Turkey to visit.
