Hotel's Favorite
This hotel is located perfectly, with the beach less than a 5 min walk away and plenty of shops and places to eat, within walking distance.
The hotel is very clean and well.kept. The majority of staff are friendly and welcoming. My friend had an issue with a rude waiter and one of the waitresses didn't seem to appreciate taking our orders, but whatever! As I said, the majority of staff were great. We tipped our fave staff member generously when we left.
Our room overlooked the pool and was okay, Noticed a couple of days that the sheets were not changed which was annoying but we told the housekeeper and that was rectified. She didn't seem happy, but that's what we paid for - to have clean sheets!
The food...hmm..I've had better but we never went hungry. The food at the snack bar, we preffered over the buffet lunch during the day. The crepes at breakfast were nice. We had a nice meal at the a la carte restaurant, but feel portions could have been a bit larger.
Entertainment was okay a couple of nights, the Beyonce impersonation routine were good.
You can use the water slides next door at Miramare Beach. The kids loved those. The Beach can get busy but we always managed to find sunbeds, but then we did go later in the day. The sand is soft, not grainy or rough.
Lots of German and Russian guests, we only met two other British families during our stay, but it didn't make a difference. We had a great time regardless.
Tip: We got our own stainless steel bottles filled up with cocktails at the pool bar, as they'd stay cold for hours and save us going bk n forth!

Firstly let me explain this is our 9th visit to Turkey and we would normally book 5 star but we found that this year the prices for 5 star had risen considerably (approx 50%) since our last visit so took a chance on 4 star...
Positives:
1:Original room we booked had a poor view so we requested a room change and apart from waiting 24hrs the reception were very helpful and the new room had not only improved size but also much better views... Thanks...
2:Food very good, (in restaurants) lots of choice and varied themes each night, you won't go hungry 😋
3: Rooms cleaned daily and fresh towels provided for both room and pool.
4: Pool clean, big enough for swim or play and pool area kept clean and safe.
5: Although not all the staff speak alot of English they are still friendly and if you make an effort to communicate they are helpful.
6: Bar/Restaurant services are good and I had no issues whatsoever getting service whenever it was required.
Negatives:
1: Original room view was poor but this was resolved within 24hrs.
2: Biggest disappointment was unfortunately the lack English speaking tourists, 90% Germans so this impacted the entertainment and all staff spoke fluent German but limited English. Unfortunately this also led to lot's of smoking area's and only small sections allocated to non smoking 🚭
3: Definitely the worst sandwiches I have seen anywhere in any hotel at the late night bar, bread/buns mostly stale with appalling fillings ( easy fix with soup, extra fillings, fresh bread etc).
4: Hotel next door you are made to feel like a pauper with a different colour band so we tried once and then avoided.
5: Hotels interiors dated and needs upgrade.
Entertainment: Mixed bag, usual hotel experience some good, some dreadful.

We arrived at around 22:00. The receptionist (although spoke little English) made us feel very welcome from the outset. Day one we were sat by the pool and got greeted by the entertainment team. Namely Gokhan and Tito. Without those two we wouldn't have had half as much fun. Although saying that, all the staff and guests were very, very friendly and accommodating. Nothing was ever too much trouble. 5* service throughout. The rooms are very clean and comfortable as it is throughout the hotel. Although expensive (that's my opinion) I would strongly recommend taking advantage of the in house photograph team. Very professional.
If you do travel here from the UK, take euro and not too much lira as most things are in euro.
I assume this is down to exchange rates and the resort is primarily aimed at the European market.

Worse hotel ever, staff very rude, they were only after people who speaks german,you will stay in queue to be served if you speak English. Stealing things unsolved by staff and manager,they not helpful at all, all cameras around but they choose not to help.room clean poor, very poor, just change bins and towels, the floor and toilet all dirty. Not to mention the prices they had for laundry service, you better buy the clothes than wash it.
Definitely will fill a formal complain with jet2holiday.

This is a gorgeous hotel. The grounds are immaculate. The pools are warm, very clean and large. Food is the excellent and a huge choice. Downsides you have to be up extremely early to get a pool sunbed but there are others available in the grass areas. The beach is about a 2 min walk from the hotel. Very flat so great is you have any disabilities. There is not many English speaking staff here but you get by. The hotel caters for everyone but is predominantly steered to the German tourist's. There was only around 15 English famies here according to our Rep but do not let that put you off. We bought Lira with us, don't bother everything is in Euros. Overall a fantastic ace to bring your family and I would highly recommend

We are in the middle of our family holiday.
First thing I must say is the hotel grounds and pools are stunning and spotlessly clean.
Family rooms well equipped fridge re filled daily and again cleaned to a high standard.

I stayed for 12 nights with my daughter, I was apprehensive as I have not been to Turkey before. However, from the moment we left the airport we felt very comfortable with our coach driver from jet2, and the hotel was very welcoming when we arrived.
Room was first class, fridge stocked, small balcony but ok for us to be honest.
Food - wonderful. Although quite repetitive we enjoyed every meal and came home half a stone heavier! Very tasty food and a good selection.
Staff are lovely! To be honest they made our stay.
The photographers on site are wonderful, we had a set of shots taken and are so happy with the memories they have given us.

If there was a lower star than 1 I would rate it. It’s not a hotel for English people and that’s fine but when the staff are rude leave you queing up and stood round for service so they can serve the more populated tourists who arnt English that’s then a massive problem. I won’t go into further detail as I will be putting a formal complaint in with jet2.
Never in all my abroad holidays have I been made to feel like I’ve paid 5 grand to be treated like I’m invisible!

Hotel is lovely and clean and the staff are very helpful.
Staff speak German better than English and the hotel is mainly German tourist but the staff do speak English and understand you if you are patient and speak carefully.
The food was nice although repetitive but I did enjoy it.
You have to be down at 06.30 to get a sunbed which are reserved despite there being signs on the sun beds not to reserve. I went down at 06.30 every morning and relaxed on the beds until about 09.30 then went for breakfast. I did have an issue with a German family who decided to move my towel from the sunbed when I went for breakfast despite them knowing I’d been there for 3 hours as they had. Another German couple saw this and they ended up arguing in German about the situation with me in the middle of it which was a bizarre situation but was resolved in the end thanks to the German couple who stuck up for me. Generally there was no problem with the different nationalities but they do not understand personal space or a queue system.
The sea is lovely and warm and the water sports is good although expensive.
The entertainment was quite good on an evening or you can sit in a very relaxed bar nearer to the main building.
Side Harbour is about 10 min taxi away €12.
Around the hotel there is plenty of shops to haggle in but there isn’t anywhere near to exchange money as the hotel don’t offer this service and nothing around for that.
Would I recommend this hotel probably yes it’s a good 4*.

Returned home from Miramare 2 weeks ago, big issue with the language barrier, most staff speck very little English, and its hard to understand them. People at the desk are very rude and only a few could understand English. Most of them would just shout back at you and they would then speck to each other in Turkish, and then ask you to come back in the morning. Family rooms are very average and it was a let down and they also need updated. Hotel is very clean and tidy and I would give them 5* for cleanliness.
Beach lovely. Entertainment not brilliant maybe due to the language. Food ok but repetitive, Guest relations lady was very rude and was not helpful at all, also they have changed the policy for the A la carte restaurants, we were told we had a choices of 3 but got told we can only book Pascha as their policy had changed, reserve sun beds is a big, you need to be up by 5am to get your sun beds, if your down after 8am good luck, during our 10 days stay we only get sunbeds once. Dear guest roshniv607, First of all, we would like to thank you for choosing our hotel and for taking the time to share your valuable feedback with us. Your feedback and ideas are very important to us. We are sorry for the problems you have experienced about the language issue and you can be sure that we will inform the relevant departments about this issue. Miramare Beach has two A'la Carte Restaurants, they are called Olive and Solemare. Miramare Queen has one A'la Carte Restaurant and it is called Pascha. As a guest of Queen, you could make reservation in Pascha for free. But the other A'la Carte Restaurants do not belong to Queen Hotel, due to these reasons you could not use Olive and Solemare for free. All of the agencies we have contracted with have been informed about the concept of both of our hotels. We think that there is misunderstanding. Our Guest Relations Staff has tried to help and informed you about this issue. Unfortunately, despite of the warning signs our guests make reservation for sunbeds. We are working on this problem. The satisfaction of our guests is the most important to us. Thank you for sharing your remarkable suggestions with us, and we are always waiting for you at our facility, where we always aim to provide the best service. Our main restaurant dinner time ends at 21:00. It is between 23:00 and 00:00 after dinner. There are sandwiches in our patisserie until the morning.
