They are literally one of the bad hotels that i encountered, They don't have basic empathy with customers and language barrier is worst and seems like they have egoistic way talking with the customers for no reason. food is below average here. i would request everyone to think twice if you ever do reservation here.

I went during feb half term with my mum, dad and sister for 7 nights and we had an absolute blast. We got to the hotel at about 11pm and the hotel receptionist was really friendly, we were even able to have a lovely meal as soon as we arrived to the hotel after a day of travelling which was a really nice gesture because in most hotels you’ll stay starving till the morning! The location is stunning and the hotel was just phenomenal. All the places were really easy to locate like the lobby, restaurant, pools, toilets etc. the beach is in walking distance and with the good weather we luckily experienced it was a really beautiful walk to the beach and back. The beach staff were so lovely too especially the bar tender and the pastry pro kulsum. The hotel it’s self is really clean and is always maintained which is a massive bonus. We were soooo spoilt for choice when it came to food from breakfast, lunch to dinner. Everything was warm and delicious and the desserts were just mouthwatering. For those who are saying the food it catered to Germans I can say that’s false. There were lovely Turkish cuisines all through out and every day there was a theme like one day where there was an array of seafood to choose from and the next day there was a hint of Italian like pizzas and pasta so there’s deffo food there for everyone, I mean there were even chips, nuggets and burgers for the fussy eaters so what more could you possibly want! The salads and different cheeses and sauces were an added bonus. We were always greeted as we entered the restaurant and staff and the waiters were so helpful, there was one waiter particular that took really good care of us on during our evening meals, always greeted us, topped our drinks and always had a smile on his face. The entertainment in the evenings were good especially on the last night as there was live music which just topped the whole experience. We were always greeted by the manager whether we were in the restaurant or by the bar in the lobby which just shows how friendly turkish people are in and this whole stigma that people have set that this hotel is catered for Germans - NO it’s catered for everyone who actually wants to experience the culture and have a relaxing holiday which is the whole point of going abroad on holiday. We will deffo be visiting side crown palace again soon.

Travelling solo with a 3 year old autistic child I was concerned about going all inclusive with a child who has extreme sensory overload with load. I can count on one hand what he eats. Chips, plain pizza, nuggets, ham sandwiches (but leaves the bread) and ice cream. But the hotel has been fantastic so far. I lost his bag with his tablet in it on the way back from the airport and they rang round and found it for me and had it delivered to the hotel. The food choices were overwhelming for him but he had chips and ham sandwiches. Even for breakfast they made him chips, because he was so overwhelmed it was a safe food for him. Today we missed the ice cream counter and he started really getting upset, I’d already been out to try find some to no avail and no succeeded. He couldn’t understand why I promised him ice cream and didn’t give it to him, he started acting in reception and One of the hotel staff went out and brought him chocolate ice creams. The would even take any money for them. No all staff are English speakers but you soon get to know who speakers English. You can also go to the meeting point rep who will translate. Iv always been nervous to do all inclusive because of his autism but the staff are brilliant with him and can’t do enough for you.

The worst holiday I've been on!! Staff was very rude and very disrespectful. Either they couldn't speak English or they was simply rude beyond limits. Food was average but a big disappointment for kids food. Despite me explaining my child has Autism an very high level sensory especially towards food my child was left with no food provided by the hotel. The second day I requested for chips only as this was the only thing my child ate from there menu it was not available even when I tried ordering on room service. But when I said beef burger which comes with the chips an cost €10 it was somehow available then. Bathroom was dirty. If anyone going there with kids especially with special needs I suggest you rethink...Even the manager never had a smile on his face no warm greetings just once or twice throughout my one week stay..I can go on...worst experience ever having being a person that travels very often!

Dear guests, We are sorry that you were not satisfied with our hotel and the service. If you had reported your sick son to us at Guest Services or Reseptıon, we had done everything for you. Since you couldn't communicate, could it be that the kitchen staff or the waiters didn't understand you? We could have done everything for you if you had contacted us. We are very sorry, we hope that you will visit us again so that we can make up for the comprehension. Best regards. Side Crown Palace Hotel

After reading some reviews on this hotel we decided that we would go for it and book a 3 week stay in January, the total cost for 3 weeks flights, transfers and All inclusive stay at the hotel was £644 each with Mercury holidays which was a bargain. So we went with open minds mainly to escape the British weather. On arrival at the Side Crown Palace at 11.30pm we were checked in and shown to our room 1109, the room was very spacious with plenty of storage space a king size bed and a single bed. We found the bed hard and requested a mattress topper which was fitted within minutes of the request. The only other problem as such was it was quite noisy until after midnight because all the reception, entertainment area and bar are open plan and we could hear people talking clearly. We asked about upgrading the room but it was going to be quite expensive. It didn’t spoil the holiday at all. The buffet restaurant provided a vast array of food at every mealtime, the quality of some of it wasn’t great, I think they would probably have been better having less selection but better quality, having said that the majority of the guests were Turkish or German so the hotel would have been catering to suit them rather than the handful of Brits. We always found something to eat that was good. All the staff were brilliant, reception, porter, bar staff and restaurant staff all went out of their way to help us with anything that we needed. And also thanks to Oscar entertainment for making us welcome in the daily darts tournament! For what we paid we thought it was good value and as a bonus the sun was shining for 20 out of 21 days We would definitely look at returning to Side Crown Palace again

We came to this hotel for a week in November (off season, cheaper rates) so weren't expecting much but were blown away with the quality. The hotel is for sure catered to Germans, with their songs playing by the pool all day, german entertainment and a mix of food but we didn't mind. Most staff spoke good english, a few only spoke some words but we had no issues communicating. The room was clean and simple, one english channel (mtv) but the real star is the water pressure in the shower; Absolute heaven. There's a free mini bar with a few drinks. The pool was a bit of a let down. The actual pool area is beautiful but the water is freezing even in hot weather. We usually don't mind a non heated pool but even this was too cold. The indoor pool is also unheated but obviously warmer, however we chose to swim in the sea which is significantly warmer even on colder days. The ice cream by the pool is a nice touch. There is a shuttle to the beach, but we chose to walk as its only a few minutes. You walk through a small bazaar with plenty of fake goods and snacks on the way. As we went in the off season, the snack bar was closed which was unfortunate but there was a lady offering some turkish grill food. We chose to just walk the few mins back and forth to the hotel. Plenty to do for kids as there are a few play parks near the beach. One thing we did find is the lack of stuff to do past dinner time. The gym and pool are closed, entertainment doesn't start until 9pm so you're left a bit bored. I imagine in the high season there is more to do. Food is definitely the winner, and despite some reviews saying there's no choice we found ourselves with too much choice. Each day was themed (the best was oriental night for sushi) and there was always plenty of hot food. Deserts are beautiful, drinks were lovely and even my picky eater boyfriend was spoiled for choice. I think the poor reviews are from people expecting full english breakfast and nuggets everyday, those people need to stay in england. The staff are lovely and couldn't do more for you, so please bring some tips for them. For stuff to do away from the hotel, you're spoiled for choice again. Across the road is a large bazaar for shopping. Further down the road is another couple of malls, a waterpark, mcdonalds and plenty of sights to see. Excursions are pricey but worth it, especially the ruins. I for sure recommend this hotel for those wanting 5 star on a budget. The sister hotels look lovely also, but I would say this one is the better choice. To improve, consider some heating element for the outdoor pool and keep the gym/indoor pool open later for those who don't drink. Other than that, great work

I stayed along with my husband for 2 weeks all inclusive. The hotel itself is lovely. The food was below average ,always cold repetitive and catered mostly for Turkish and Germans. Very few British stay at this hotel and the ones that do are treated differently to German guests. We were ignored by the bar staff who went out of their way to serve the German guests. Staff spoke to us in German even though they knew we were British. The entertainment was mostly in German. Drinks were watered down . My advice before coming to this hotel is learn to speak German

Stayed at this hotel for 7 days in August. Would not recommend. This is not a 5* hotel. Food was always cold. Very repetitive. Not much choice for children at all. Rooms are very basic. We had a family interconnected room and this wasn’t very big at all. No wifi in the rooms. Wifi only works in the lobby. This was very frustrating as we asked 3 times about wifi in room and they said they would get maintenance to our room. On the fourth time of asking we got told there is no wifi in the rooms. No real entertainment in the day. Other than the pool and the three water slides it was actually really boring. There is a free shuttle bus down to the beach that runs every 30 min. Very small designated area for swimming. Also you need to know how to speak German if you do stay at this hotel. We were the only English family and no one spoke English. I wouldn’t waste your money on this place at all. Very disappointed.

Well what a improvement stayed here in April 2019 and it wasn’t the best experience staff were not interested in helping the English at all hotel was still the same, food was good and on a plus the beach area is a great place to chill so decided to try it again and yes the staff were great as long as you tip them which I didn’t mind as we all need to make money to live on we were well looked after by the majority of staff so we would recommend this hotel the rooms were cleaned every day the cleaners worked so hard to keep the place spotless
