We arrived late and had a very warm welcome from the owners son.

The kitchen had closed on arrival but he ordered a pizza delivery for us which we paid for and arrived quickly.

There is no lift at the hotel but he carried our cases to our two second floor rooms.

Both rooms were identical with balcony overlooking the pool.

Rooms are basic but ample space for a double and single bed, super clean with good storage and a fridge and air conditioning. Shower room with plenty of hot water.

On the ground floor there is a restaurant and pool area all spotless with staff cleaning all day. Lovely atmosphere.

Our half board offering was of a very good standard and just enough choice to satisfy all in our group.

Pool was spotless with plenty of chairs and low level music played all day which did not interrupt sleep.

We ran a tab for drinks and this was very reasonable in price with free tea and water available.

The location is 20/25 minutes walk to the beach or 10 euro one way taxi but there is a free shuttle bus which runs twice in morning and afternoon. There are a couple of shops and restaurants within walking distance.

The roads around are a little uneven and a with a number of steps that lead to the front reception, it may not be the best choice if you have mobility issues.

All staff very attentive and this is what you can expect from this well run family hotel.

We enjoyed our stay and very happy to recommend.

Being a non smokers, our personal message to management is that you should consider implementing a smoking area away from the pool/restaurant area. We were continually having to endure smoke from customers and staff alike, especially during the dinner period which disrupted our enjoyment of our food. We moved tables a couple of times to get away from the smell.

I trust these comments are helpful and thank you again for your kindness and hospitality, much appreciated!

Regards
Kerry Applin

Just come back from a week away here and i’m already planning on going back next summer and making it a regular trip. Whilst this may not look as grand and premium as other hotels in the area, the manager, his family and the staff provided an outstanding relaxing experience! The rooms are simple and well air conditioned, which was very much needed. Everything was cleaned extremely regularly and left little surprises in the room to return too which was lovely. There isn’t too much variety to the breakfast each day but the food in the evening was lovely and fresh and always tasted brilliant. The staff were constantly working to keep everything clean and if you were finished with a drink or food in a packet, the rubbish was collected by them almost instantly. The bar provides a good rage of drinks and lunch time meals which were great value for money with good portion sizes. Everyone who works here is extremely friendly and lovely to talk too and the manager will personally come round and make conversation with all of the guests. If you have a problem or need help with anything, as soon as you ask they will sort it for you no matter what it is. We wanted to go to land of Legends and within minutes the manager had booked us a bus there for just 20 euros! The town is around a 10 minute taxi away which cost around 10 euro which was brilliant for evening trips or day trips to the market. Overall if you are looking for a simple yet personal and lovely relaxed experience, this is a brilliant place to stay.

The 1st time I have been away on my own & I couldn't of wished for any thing more, this small family run hotel is described as a budget hotel, I was very impressed with Side Spring, the owner & his lovely family made you feel so very welcome, the rooms were a very good size & very clean, beds comfortable & pillows lovely, the food was of very good quality & a good selection, every night we had different choices & at the weekend a bar-b-que by the pool, the pool was fantastic & u could use it up till 10pm, also it's the same depth all the way round with a baby pool on the side but no slides which I liked, because then there isn't lots of children, If your just looking for a quite laid back do nothing break then here is ideal, food is available all day from the bar next to the pool, the food was excellent & so reasonably priced, there is a free shuttle from the hotel to the private beach which takes about 5 minutes & brings you back later, the beach was lovely & sunbed's & umbrella's were free of charge, the bar on the beach also does food which again was very reasonable & very delicious. The area is a bit quite but if you walk a little way there are shops & restaurants also a market on a Saturday morning, next time I am going to explore more but I was very content just lazing around the pool & eating. I will most definately return here & will have 10 days next time, very nice plants around the hotel & the gardens very well maintained, every thing about Side Spring is a positive & I can't wait to return with my family this time. Thankyou for my wonderful stay is my last words..

Side spring hotel is amazing, it’s a family owned hotel and welcome families, we have been treated like royalty! Room clean, staff amazing, pillows and beds are comfortable feels like home away from home, it’s upsetting to leave! We have had a wonderful time and they have made the little one have a magical experience! They remember names they speak loads of diffrent languages to make sure all guests can get what they need when they need, always ask if we need anything is everything okay and deal with special requests properly and professionally! If you are planning to come expect a comfortable relaxing hotel, they are knowledgeable in the area and can order food for you if you don’t want to eat in the hotel, they recommend tasty local food and make sure we have a good holiday. You can rent a car through the hotel at a cheaper rate than the local people! I would recommend to anyone who wants to travel alone or with family even if it’s with friends they can accommodate anyone. Even can recommend places to shop! If you are thinking about side spring don’t think anymore just do it, the rates are good and worth any penny

We absolutely loved our stay here! It's a lovely small, friendly hotel which made us feel the most welcome I've ever felt in a hotel.

The entire place is spotless, staff always cleaning and the rooms were beautifully made up each morning.

Rooms were basic but perfect with a lovely sized balcony. Pool and sunbed area was perfect, with a lovely bar and shaded area to relax and eat at.

We were half board and we thoroughly enjoyed the food! The choice wasn't huge but everything served was a fantastic quality. Most evenings we went up for seconds! Drinks and lunches were reasonable cost and we set up a tab to pay off at the end of the holiday. What made this holiday amazing though were the staff! They were so friendly, kind, funny and helpful. The owner and his family made a huge impression on us and made our time even more memorable!

We genuinely will be back again. Couldn't fault it and we now have big holiday blues. Thank you so much for having us!

We stayed here for 4 nights and we were very pleased with the service.

Rooms were lovely and clean with free air conditioning, a must in a country such as Turkey. You've also got the option of a safe in the room for a small fee, something we paid for.

Beds were very comfortable and the balcony area was nice and clean with a very handy rack for hanging up things to dry.

The food was a Mediterranean cuisine but they also had several things akin to British food (cereal, eggs etc).

Staff were absolutely wonderful (including the manager) and exceptionally attentive. Any queries, concerns, questions etc directed to the staff and they were more than happy to try and assist/help.

They arranged our quad experience for us and it went fine without any hassle.

There's a free bus which takes you to the beach which is a cracking bonus, leaves in the morning and returns in the late afternoon.

Overall we had a lovely stay and I'd be more than happy to stay here again :)

Bar opened at 10-10 at the pool with a selection of Vodka and Gin and selected mixers , You may also have different types of wines, Staff will also make you a cocktail if requested which was really nice.

The Pool is open from 10am til 6pm and wasn’t usually packed.

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner was a set menu and was usually Turkish cuisine (not for fussy eaters)

Cake time was at 4pm which cake was brought around the pool.

Every 3 days sheets and towels were replace in the room
We felt that towel should be replaced daily as our shower had a leak and would wet the floor and we used them to clean the floor.

Only 1 AC worked in our room but worked really well so the one in our room didn’t need to be on.

Staff were really friendly even though they didn’t really speak much English but the once’s that did treated you like family.

The only really big issue was that there wasn’t a lot of British which was a shame as it was difficult to socialise

Unfortunately there was no entertainment but could easily be accommodated by going to The Red Lion Bar which was 10 mins aways walking .

All in all it was alright , please remember that covid has taken a big affect in TURKEY and economy is a bit worse off , but it doesn’t change how nice we were treated .

Where do I start ,arrived early hours of the morning, hungry and thirsty ,taken to our room expecting a drink and snack waiting. Nothing, not even a bottle of water. Mini fridge in room, empty and it stayed this way through the entire stay. How this hotel can sell as an all-inclusive is beyond me. Bar closes 10pm every night. The only drinks available are ,gin, vodka, wine, beer, soft drinks. Cocktails cost you €5 ,there is no snacks in between meal times ,no ice cream or lollies available, the meals were basic ,casserole twice a day with rice ,vegetables, and salad. No dessert, only fruit. At breakfast there wasn't even any toast available. The family that run this hotel ,watch you like hawks ,making sure you do not drink to much. The rooms are desperately in need of an upgrade ,bedside lights did not work ,shower head hanging off ,sink taps all rusty. And only one door on the wardrobe. We witnessed them discarding wardrobe doors on some waste ground opposite the hotel. The only good point of this hotel is the pool area is kept spotlessly clean . Worst hotel I have ever stayed in , with the rooms ,location, staff, all inclusive disappointing.

Have just returned from the most pleasant holiday at Side Spring Hotel.

Really nice pool area and wonderful food. Nice rooms.

But the best thing is the family that runs the hotel. They make sure that nothing is missing, and do everything to ensure that all guests have a wonderful holiday.

Must leave again as soon as possible

I spent 12 days in this hotel in March. What I wanted is a clean budget place with functioning facilities and good options for walking/hiking, and that's what I had.

Side's beachside promenade is spectacular, long and fabulous. Antic archeological dig site is fascinating. They have built a part of town over the ancient ruins, preserving them and at the same time making them visible by installing glass pavements. It's worth seeing!

Spring Side is a budget hotel, incredibly friendly family-run place which delivers good value for money. If you enjoy a more local, authentic and immersive experience - this place is for you.
Rooms are spacious and clean. Food is simple and inexpensive (Turkish home-cooked style).
I spent most of my time walking around as this town has so much to offer for anyone with appreciation of archeology and natural beauty. And I felt at home returning back for dinner.
I am grateful for my experience!
