The Marvida Family Eco hotel is celebrated for its spotless environment and family-oriented atmosphere, offering a lively vibe with activities that cater to all ages. While opinions on the rooms vary, with some guests commending the cleanliness and views but others pointing out issues with size and noise, the service consistently receives high marks for being attentive and accommodating. Guests have called out the hotel's amenities, such as varied dining options and dedicated children's areas, as enhancing their experience, although the value proposition receives mixed reviews due to the cost of on-site services.

We are staying there at the moment with our two children aged 2 and 3.
The hotel is located 1 hour drive from the airport... we find it far and if you want to visit Antalya, you have to use a taxi or tour operators.
Not much to do on foot nearby, it's an area full of hotel complexes.
The setting: pleasant with lots of greenery and a maintained and cleaned exterior. Perfect in summer, it's good to take a walk in the evening before going to bed.
Swimming pools: 5 swimming pools, with a small pool for babies. The deckchairs are next to each other and already reserved early in the morning. When you have had a lie-in, it is difficult to find a place after 10 a.m.
It’s not the hotel’s fault but that of the vacationers…
Slides are installed there but they close at 4:30 p.m. If the children have had their nap, not sure if they will be able to go there in time to play.
The swimming pools are cleaned at the end of the day, but the pools are cramped compared to the mass of vacationers who swim there.
Catering: the self is relatively varied. Be careful during peak hours... you will have to wait for a table to become available or look for a free one. The staff is quite responsive. However, the dining room is dated and could do with a good lick of paint.
Room: ah the room… Not very clean… at least ours. Old decor and dirty carpet. The curtain in our room was stained. In the bathroom, I found hair on the hairdryer and on the marble and no shower gel when we arrived. Traces on the toilet paper holder. Dust on the furniture and when I asked the maid to change the dirty glasses, she rinsed them and gave them back to me... holes in the sheets, and quick cleaning of the room. Safe that doesn't work, fridge that heats up.
I admit that I was disappointed by this aspect.
Wifi: ok, available everywhere.
Activities for children: Russian entertainers, our children only speak French, we tried a morning but the language is a barrier. Jana was very gentle, but difficult for our little ones to latch on to. The playgrounds are old and dirty (we found plates of fries in them) and the rides are paid, dilapidated and rusty.
The beach: a 10-minute walk, along the lake, we found the beach very pleasant and quieter. The snack bar on site is practical and allows you to spend the day there. The only downside is that it closes at 5 p.m.
The sea is good, bring aquashoes because there are pebbles on the shore. 1m from the shore, we no longer have a foothold but with buoys, it is easily managed.
The staff is nice, quickly overwhelmed given the mass of vacationers and certain people who are ill-mannered and lacking in civility.
Basically, if you're not too careful, that's fine. But in my opinion, the hotel deserves to be renovated. For the rest, we cannot re-educate people!

Excellent family hotel, all facilities for relaxing with children. There is no loud music after 22, a few pools for babies, slides for older children, always a few lifeguards by the pool.Sunbeds occupy from the morning. By the pool is a full cafe with food with 12-17, ice cream, fruit, desserts, grain coffee only there.

There is a children's club with a lunch break with a variety of workshops, dances and shows, a mini disco evening. Run by a Russian-speaking girl (Veronica?)just 🔥, only a person with a big heart can give so much energy to children.
The sea is beautiful, sand and Pebbles at the entrance, walking about 10 minutes along the lake (unsympathetic, blooming, but with ducks), by bus 5 minutes. All the sunbeds are under the canopy, there's always plenty of space, there's a cafe until 17, you can stay for lunch there. Every day at 10:15 on the beach yoga/pilates/stretch with Elfi charged sociable pleasant(just ♥️), happy to recharge with her every day. at 11 aqua aerobics in the sea and at 16 zumba.
Food is many and different, a separate compliment to the staff of the restaurant, dishes are cleaned instantly. Alcohol is local, in the bar by the Amphitheatre more varied cocktail card, live music.
The room is spacious, with fresh renovations, the cleaning was excellent (room 4207) above the restaurant overlooking the pool. This room has a change of utensils and cotton pads/soap. Shampoo-aka shower gel in a dispenser on the wall. No hair balm/ body lotion (who cares).

Thank you for your rest, attention and care!

Being a resort dedicated to families with small children, you will only feel their presence at the beach. Although there were no children in the group, we were pleasantly surprised by the facilities they can benefit from. The fact that it is a hotel built many years ago, can be seen in the accommodation part. We had the room on the 3rd floor in building 3, with a generous balcony and enough room for two adults. The bathroom is relatively small. The minibar was replenished daily with juices and water, there is a safe in the closet and the air conditioning is provided by an internal unit. There are few cars in the parking lot, towels are changed in the morning, there is the possibility to go for a walk outside the resort in the evening and do some shopping, for those who are passionate. The food in the restaurant is for the unpretentious, you can always find something to satisfy your hunger and the snack at the beach or the pool has a tempting offer. The beach can be reached by shuttle, which is every quarter to a quarter of an hour, or on foot, on the shore of the lake. We preferred the second option because it was relatively quick and the scenery along the way was relatively beautiful. The entrance to the sea is a bit steep, the sunbeds at the sea and the pool were enough during the time we went. For those who arrive after 9:00 p.m., when dinner is over, there is the option of finding some types of food, fruits and sweets between 11:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m. for a late dinner. I recommend the hotel to families with small children, especially because the quality-price ratio is very good. All the staff were professional, from the young man preparing the cocktails at the reception bar to the staff cleaning the beach. Finally, we would like to thank Mrs. Vera at the reception who promptly solved the minor problems we encountered.

This is the third year we have come to Turkey and this is unfortunately the most disappointing hotel we have stayed in. Besides, I don't understand people who find this hotel fabulous or superb (I think false comments). It's just okay.

The hotel is old and needs a lot of renovation. We had a room on the ground floor, more or less correct and spacious but on the walls there were 20 dead mosquitoes crushed by vacationers... the walls are yellow and there were two spider webs, the room bathroom is dated (like the rest) and there was rust. The air conditioning worked well. Concerning the cleaning it was very complicated, superficial cleaning.... the cleaning was not done she just changed the linen and tried to make the bed, I had to ask for the cleaning to really be done, with a baby who crawls on all fours had to at least wash the floor.... the floor was washed twice in 10 days. The cleaning lady asked us to keep our bathroom linens because she was not allowed to change them every day (a 5 star you say?!!!) With 2 children it is obviously impossible...especially when I had to clean the floor myself....besides the pool toilets were a horror, similar to public toilets... the food was good but repetitive as can be, we went out to eat 2 evenings for a change A little. The cocktails were terrible, the last comment which said that the mojitos were good has probably never tasted good mojitos... besides all the drinks were low-end drinks like the rest of the hotel. if you wanted original drinks like red Bull (3euro) corona (8euro!!!)... No table service whether at the pool, at the restaurant (normal) or at the pool snack, you have to pick everything up yourself- even. I've never seen that before in Türkiye, it's not up to 5 star standards. The attractions for children are all paying, 10 euros for 10 minutes (it hurts) the arcade games are 2 euros per token (ouch)... in the evening popcorn and cotton candy, also paying. On the pool side there are three slides which have very restricted hours closing at 4:30 p.m. with a break from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.... the children take risks when it's closed by climbing anyway... but I understand it's so little open. My 3 year old son told me (mom why is it still closed??) All meals you have to allow 20 minutes before finding a table. By the way, I don't understand why the hotel calls itself eco? There are supposedly bins for sorting, when I hesitated to throw away waste, a colleague told me: throw it in any bin anyway they are together in the end (great!!!) Anyway to finish On the positive side, most of the staff are friendly and smiling, the grass is beautiful and well maintained. The kids club is nice (even if repetitive), the swimming pools are OK (a little more games for little ones would also be welcome, there is just a slide). The beach is far from the hotel but there are shuttles every 15 minutes provided by the hotel (3 min by shuttle). Unfortunately, I would never return to this hotel and would not recommend it. I will not give more than 3 stars and never 5 stars!

Stayed here with my wife and young daughter for 10 nights, we didn’t arrive until early hours of the morning and were immediately greeted by the friendly staff on reception. We were helped to our room by a member of staff and on the way he pointed out the location of the bars and breakfast area etc. our room was very clean and the complementary mini bar was fully stocked. The buffet restaurant for us was the biggest disappointment, the food served was good but seemed to be the same thing on offer regardless of what night it was (fish, Turkish, chefs night, etc.). As well as this the restaurant was always packed full and we would often struggle to find a place to sit and with having a baby we would often be unable to get a high chair for her, if we were to do it again I would recommend booking the al a carte. The hotel staff from the waiters to the cleaners are extremely friendly and would always go out of their way to say hello and showed an interest in our little girl and often made her smile which to us meant a great deal. The pools are also great, all of them offering shaded areas for those wishing to stay out of the sun, the staff are constantly ensuring that the pool areas remain clean and that the walkways are kept as dry as possible to avoid accidents. The onsite shop is overpriced and I would recommend leaving the hotel if you want to buy inflatables or snacks for your room, my daughter wanted an inflatable and the shop onsite charged 40 euros for a small inflatable ring, as well as this they charged 12 euros for a biscuits and a bag of crisps. Be aware before booking that some things advertised have hidden charges such as the onsite fair and the al a carte restaurant. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to others.

We vacationed at the beginning of September. The weather is perfect, about +31°C. The water, both in the sea and in the pool, is at the highest level, but only from morning to lunch. Then it brings little relief. But this is my subjective opinion. The room where we were 330_ was a little tired, but everything worked perfectly, TV (we inserted our own flash drive with movies) + Russian-language channels and air conditioning and refrigerator. It is worth noting that neither the air conditioner nor the refrigerator will work unless you leave one key card in the slot in the room. Therefore, we only received cold drinks the next day (we stopped the night before). In general, the service, room cleaning, and grounds are very good. I would especially like to thank Zarina (Smiley service). A very friendly girl. Always help with any questions. Through her we ordered a restaurant (a la carte), a separate veranda on the beach (at sea 25€, with service -50€). She told and explained everything in detail. We took her advice and were not disappointed. I also thank Vera and Katya from the reception. They helped us settle in well and check out later. To Elizabeth, a special guide - Thank you!!! The only thing I didn’t like was that they smoke everywhere they can and cannot. Despite the fact that the hotel is family-run, people smoke near the children and near the pool. If you are calm about this, then this is the place for you.

We have just stayed at this hotel for a week, and although the area is fab, we found that the negatives of the hotel outweighed the positives unfortunately.

We arrived at 1:30am so weren’t welcomed with an explanation of how the resort works, towel rules etc - maybe it could have been a language barrier as a lot of broken English occurs or it could have been due to the time of arrival. The decor in the hotel rooms wasn’t very up to date, dark green and beige walls and green carpet but it did have a clean bathroom with a decent sized shower. The house keeping lady who cleaned our room seemed nice and you could have your room cleaned every day, but they didn’t speak any English so we often referred to Google Translate. The beds were comfortable if you like quite a firm bed and sheets were changed regularly. The pool areas were nice, the slides are fun and there is also a smaller pool called ‘the relax pool’ which is for 18 years and over only. The biggest downfall of the hotel was the food. We paid for all inclusive yet ate outside of the resort 5 days of the 7 we were here. When we did eat in the resort, we basically lived off French fries, chicken skewers and desserts. So if you don’t like fish, cold sliced meats, cheese, aubergines or rice then you haven’t really got much choice - this food was very repetitive too so you find yourself eating a lot of the same stuff. The Bill Cosby Steak house outside of the resort is delicious, would highly recommend the steaks and lamb shish from there as an alternative to the food here. The aqua bar food was some snacks foods for during the day, the chef there seemed really nice. The area has some good fake designer shops, especially in Side central and Manavgat market. We used the bus quite a lot to get to these places as taxis charge high prices. There are also some smaller fake designer shops outside of the hotel which are good and can get busy on nights. There are also lots of crickets and bugs as the resort is surrounded by a lake, this is out of the hotels hands but it is something to be aware of if you are scared of bugs.

Over all, unfortunately our stay at Otium was not the best. The entertainment is mostly aimed at children, the food was not very good and was repetitive and the rooms were out dated. Would definitely return to the area but not this hotel.

The hotel is beyond praise. The area is clean and well-groomed. Smoking is allowed only in designated areas. The rooms are cleaned daily, swans and candies were played, a very friendly and smiling woman cleans the place. I was also very pleased with the attitude of both the staff and vacationers. We were worried, we thought there would be a negative attitude, but no, it didn’t happen. And there was heaven, and ice cream heaven for children almost all day, from 10 to 17 in the children's restaurant mr. Crab 🦀, and from 18:30 at the main restaurant. The food is tasty and varied. For both very young children and adults. And our main love is the children's mini club. And especially the girls Julia, Veronica, Elvira, the children ran there with pleasure and wanted to spend all their time only there. Holly Festival of Colors, soap bubbles, pool games, face painting, 🏅 competitions. Veronica the chef, what incredible charisma and a mega-lighter. And the Son still misses Yulia and wants to go live with her 🙈❤️ We will be happy to return to this hotel again. It’s a pity, of course, that these girls will no longer exist, but what if)))

Our first holiday in Turkey was wonderful and it was love at first sight. Starting from the reception, the lady who cleaned our room every day, through the Chef, the guys behind the bar and those who take photos at the resort, the animators, managers, the wonderful lifeguard on the beach, we send warm kisses from Poland to all of us. We came back late in the evening the day before yesterday, and we already miss it... The food was delicious and in huge quantities, both in the main restaurant and by the sea or by the pool. Everyone could find something for themselves. The rooms are clean and well-kept, large swimming pools, nice two larger slides apart from those for children. If you need silence, you can find it by the adults-only pool, which is great. Everyone was very kind, smiling and friendly. Well.... I want to go back there!!!
Guests from room 3307, 11/10-25/10 (with a beautiful view of the garden, and from the bed a wonderful view of palm trees looking into the room). Best regards!!

Hello, the hotel is very good despite a not very cheerful facade and worn carpets in the common areas and the rooms.
The rooms are a reasonable size and the bedding is comfortable but it’s a shame that the extra beds for the children face the air conditioning! The bathroom is small for 4 people. The soundproofing of the rooms should be reviewed, there is no possibility of sleeping in or taking a nap with the noises of the neighbors, corridors and swimming pool.
The restaurant is pleasant and the choice is great! It’s varied, fresh and the theme evenings are very nice. We found the concept nice, especially the children's corner and the buffet in their size which gives them the opportunity to choose and help themselves. For parents of babies, everything is available including bottle warmers and blenders to make purees on site!
The hotel has 4 outdoor swimming pools, 1 of which with slides, 1 paddling pool under parasol for children, 1 in the Kids club. There is also 1 indoor swimming pool and various facilities that will certainly please many.
The staff is very kind, helpful and smiling. We arrived in the middle of the night and the very quick welcome and check-in was great! A little snack might be missing for those who have had a long trip!
For those who struggle to speak English, you will find a French-speaking person at reception who will help you and give wonderful advice! She is incredibly kind and caring.
We were traveling with the children and this hotel is perfect for a family trip but the activities are not all included!
Table tennis, the playground (turnstile, swing) and mini golf are free. On the other hand, arcade games, small rides and billiards are chargeable (€2 per token for the arcades and €10 for 1 hour of billiards).
The Kids club leaders are kind and friendly. Every evening there is a mini disco for the little ones followed by a show for the older ones.
The hotel is well located and there are small shops inside and nearby. It is located 10 minutes by taxi and 20 minutes by Dolmus from the towns of Side and Manavgat with a large market/bazaar on Monday and Thursday)
In short, for a trip with children (or without) the hotel is very good and very family-friendly! We will definitely return

I would say yes, but i found the labelling of food to be difficult to understand whether it was truly vegetarian (daughter) or not. There is ample food choices available and always plenty of fresh fruit, vegetable dishes, rice dishes, pasta's etc. Turkiye don't really have much in the way of meat replacement dishes ie plant based burgers or sausages.
