Don’t normally leave reviews but I felt I had to tell what an amazing time we had at this hotel. Food was great and the staff were so welcoming, helpful & friendly but a special thanks must go to Ekram, he absolutely made our holiday the best time ever in Turkey, he goes above & beyond for all guests, nothing is too much trouble for him even going shopping on his day off for me. We have made a friend for life!!! Sayanora, don’t ever let Ekram leave, we will be back in April next year!!!
Staying at Sayanora Hotel currently. Service from all the staff is best I have ever encountered - especially from Mr Ekrem who welcomed me when I arrived tired and hungry. Since then he has been consistently helpful friendly and cheerful. As a solo traveller of advanced age his welcoming smile has made mealtimes a pleasure. If I return to Turkey in future I will definitely come back to the Sayanora to meet Mr Ekrem again.
We have spent one great week in this hotel. The hotel is small but very nice service and also tasty food. The stuff is very kind and helpfull especially Mr.Ekrem :) Small swimming pool but not crowded, close to the beach and Antic Side. You van spend great time im great place :)
The service at the hotel restaurant does a great job. Ekrem waiter is very nice and professional and makes sure that each guest feels good during their stay at the Sayanora hotel. Regards also Gulsen. Thanks to her, we could have a trip to Alanya with the family ❤️
Pleasant memories of the rest. Nice hotel, helpful staff. Everything is clear. Very tasty food. We had a rest as a family and everyone liked everything very much. The sea and the ancient city are within walking distance. I would like to say a special thank you to the staff. Very attentive and positive guys. I would like to say thank you to a separate Ekrem. A very funny guy and a good waiter. He does his job professionally and with high quality.
OMG The food was very turkish and very good. Rooms although a little tired were very clean and comfy. reception staff were very helpful. As i was on my own I didnt venture out in the evening as the main ways to the beachfront were unlit. The hotel is in a very good position for Side for all amenities but surrounded by wasteland.
Had a brilliant time here food really tasty and something for everyone the hotel staff at the bar and restaurant we're excellent the cleaning staff we're amazing our room was always spotless and smelling lovely hotel really close to beach and side town was a 15 min walk along the shore pathway we were late in the season but still enough shops and restaurants open to keep you going we would come again with family as is a mainly German resort the ruins are worth a visit and there is lots of them to see Thank you sayanora for a really enjoyable holiday John and tina
the best thing about this hotel is the cooks. very tasty prepare. and a kind gardener who always smiles and greets you. many people in may and June were accommodated in cheaper rooms than was paid for. and someone at all settled in other hotels, more modest.
Don't cater for English. Not many English there. Lady at reception very very rude and aggressive speaking. Waiters brilliant and work hard pool lovely. Very near shops and beach. Room asked for pool view got back of restaurant. Rooms ok. Clean bed linen but not top sheet. Floor very dirty shower floods and could do with a revamp. Would not stay again better in the area for same money
Overall very disappointed, Payed for a pool view, however the only view I got was a view of the kitchen wall!! I traveled with friends and they requested a pool view and did not get one either. Our experiences were similar and they were also disappointed. In my room, toilet tissue could not be flushed, very poor drainage , the shower incredibly slow to drain, left standing in a pool of water. Cleaning consisted of a fragrant liquid being poured onto the floor and wiped throughout the room. The bed is very very hard and the bedding provided was a thick orange blanket, which was far to hot for the climate, There was no additional white sheet to cover with, like most hotels. I had to ask for it, which was difficult as no cleaners spoke English. Once I recieved the sheet, it wasn't changed and I had to ask for this too. The air conditioning didn't work, so night times were very unpleasant. Highlighted some of the issues to management, they were very unhelpful, I asked to be moved, but they said they couldn't move me. Hardly any staff spoke English, only management, Suzie one of the managers was very rude and very unhelpful, however the other managers were a little better. Food had limited choice and was very repetitive, not really to my taste, but there was always salad. Leftovers from the day before were always mixed in with the breakfast dishes, I even noticed a dish from Fridays Dinner mixed in with Sunday Lunch. None of the food was labelled in English, only Russian/German and Turkish, it was like a guessing game every time I choose a meal, not helpful for allergy sufferers. Very limited all inclusive alcohol choice only whisky, raki, wine and beer. All other drinks required payment, in addition soft drinks were awful, so only fizzy drinks as a good option. The positives were that the hotel was within walking distance to the beach, local shops, bars and restaurants... which was definitely needed as an escape from this awful hotel.…
