Wasn’t the worst, nice staff, great location for the beach and the shops, lovely wee area. But really only caters for Germans, never heard an English speaker whole time I was there, staff had very poor English too, all inclusive had plenty of choice but again mainly catered for the Germans almost all the food I didn’t even know what it was, would be really bad if your a fussy eater.

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful week here recently. The outisde areas around the hotel are kept clean and attractive. Rooms are cleaned daily, there's a nice variety of really good quality food on offer for a small hotel and the range of drinks available at the bar is more extensive than many other larger hotels I've stayed at. But the 'piece de resistance of this little gem of a hotel is provided by the manager Youseff and his staff. They are so friendly, welcoming and really cannot do enough for you. I was lucky enough to enjoy my 50th birthday here and the staff made it extra special and wonderfully memorable. We found ourselves holidaying at this hotel by accident due to our original hotel closing because of the Covid-19 pandemic, but what a lucky accident that was! Thank you Youseff and everyone at the Side Temple Hotel, we will definitely be back!

I stayed 7 nights at this All Inclusive hotel for my vacation and it was a very nice surprise for me, indeed! Very clean, excellent food, very good beer, wine and Turkish arak :) Very good coffee and lovely tea. Also very confy bed, I slept like a baby. Not the least, the service was impeccable, all the staff did a good job and were very friendly and helpful. I really had nothing to complain about and, believe me, I am a very picky person. All in all, very good value for the money, I recommend this hotel with all my heart!

Just returned from a family break here. As we got this holiday very cheap our expectations were not high. Which was good. The hotel itself was cute. Clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Great location. Air con good. Staff pleasant. I'm the least fussiest person but the food was not nice at all with flies on most of it but it didn't bother us as plenty of restaurants around and unbelievably cheap. Chicken wrap £1.40 and delish. For a family of 4 to eat out with a few alcoholic drinks each was around £25. Scuba diving was rubbish. The jeep safari was excellent!!!!! The drinks in the bar at the hotel were not great. The beer was lovely. Ran out of white wine. Vodka tasted funny and anything else you had to pay for. (soft drinks OK) Bus ride 40p each. Weather in 40s. You get told to get out of pool at 6. Beach lovely and 5 mins away. All in all a lovely holiday.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 weeks during September. A basic 3 star hotel, which is all I need. As expected, lots of German guests, which is not a problem, as they were mainly nice friendly people. Language barrier is always a problem wherever you go, & we all managed to communicate somehow. Facilities are basic but good. I thought the food for a 3 star hotel was very good indeed. It was good produce, & very well cooked. The corbas were really good & piping hot. Salads were many & varied, & the Esme was excellent. Breakfasts superb. The hotel should be very proud of the staff they have, as they are the best I have encountered in Turkey. They work tirelessly most of the day, & are always smiling, pleasant & helpful. I would readily stay at this hotel again, & the on site masseur is fantastic. He really knows his stuff. I had 12 massages while there, some people had them every day. Really good hotel.

My husband and I arrived on the evening of 8th September and were checked in or so we thought with passport details being taken etc. And offered a drink from the less than limited all inclusive bar. We just wanted to go to the room unpack and cool off. We were then told we were being taken to the 'other block' for tonight and in the morning would be moved close? It turned out that they did not have a room for us and took us to the Sunberk hotel across the road. Our booking confirmation with 'On the beach' was arriving 8th for 10 nights! The said they we had to come back tomorrow after breakfast when they will have a room for us and thought thus was acceptable. The room at the Sunberk was disgusting tiny and the toilet was in the shower!! The air con was so loud we could not have it on so a very uncomfortable night unable to unpack and just manage. Back to reception after breakfast which was lots of cold meats cheese and salad bread and jams all uncovered with lots of flies on it, no toaster and if you wanted orange just you had to pay 1 euro for this, we were told no room ready yet and come back later and just waved away. The arrogance was unbelievable and made worse with the lack of English and the 'no undrerstand'. German is the language here and the guests that are made to feel welcome. All signage was in German nothing in English not even a flag with the other nations outside. I can do basic but this all inclusive was disgusting, meals were lots of salads and 4 hot dishes not choices just dishes. One pasta one rice one meat and one something else that we could never decide what it was as again no signs plus for dinner there was a soup too. We only saw potatoes twice during the 10 days. Again all open no covers. Plus melon and a couple of cakes for dessert for the flies to feast on. So we ate out at some lovely restaurants in Side which I can highly recommende but this made our cheap holiday very expensive. Drinks were the usual 4 local spirits cheap and nasty red or white wine. No cocktails or local alternative. Two positives are the waiters were lovely and the pool was great. Finally after our 10 days (9 at this hotel) we had to be out of the room at 12noon even though our pick up was not until 10pm no alternative room just a toilet and shower around the pool area. I strongly expressed my disappointment at reception at paying and in possession of confirmation for 10 nights and only being in my room for 9 nights and was told after a lot of 'dont understand' they would speak to the manager but of course the manager never showed his face but wrote on a piece of paper 12.00 to leave room. This hotel is more like a 1 star so if you just want a basic room near the beach with a nice pool this is for you otherwise avoid this hotel.
