The main advantage of the hotel is the staff. Attentive staff, good housekeeping, excellent food.
The hotel is within walking distance of the main historical sights and short walk to the beach, location is the great for walkers. The rooms are not modern one, but clean and cozy.
Great choice if you want a relaxing holiday.

The hotel is small, with a private pool and a private beach a short walk away. The rooms are cleaned everyday, fresh towels, air conditioning and fridge stocked with bottles of water on arrival.
The downside was the food, which may be because we were from the UK and everyone else were from places like Polond, Russia, Germany, Netherlands.
Sprouts and broccoli for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Turkey nearly every day. Salad with added fly protien for breakfast. Chips for breakfast. Some folk struggled to put anything on the plate, like myself. Turkish night was awesome with chicken kebab, and one lunch was burgers. Kids were not catered for at all.
Service at the bar, we had to wait for cleaning to finish before we were acknowledge and served, I don't mind waiting but don't ignore me.
In short, food and bar service could definitely improve.

This summer we visited Turkey, in the city of Side. Our choice fell on the Sunberk Hotel. The selection criteria were as follows: proximity to the city center, the presence of a sandy beach, the ability to go to the beach on foot and not for long (not by bus), a green area on the hotel premises. These conditions coincided in this hotel. The first impression - well, yes, as in the description on the website... We were greeted warmly and checked in at the specified time. While we were waiting for check-in, a hotel employee (she works at the spa) Leah, a friendly, helpful person who cares about the hotel guests, approached us. After resting from the road and walking around the hotel grounds, we were pleased with our choice. We were accommodated in small houses, we liked the room, we needed everything for convenience, everything was there. They cleaned every day, it was fine for us, we didn’t look for any shortcomings in the cleaning, since we were on vacation, and there weren’t any. The food is also good, varied, in addition to the usual three times there was also an afternoon snack - various cookies and drinks. For hotel guests, a “Turkish Night” was held with performances by artists and the preparation of national dishes; "Evening of live music" with fish dishes. On other evenings there was always light music. We didn't swim in the pool, but there were always a lot of people there. A hotel beach with sun loungers is nearby. I walked at a slow pace and there it was - the warm sea. There is a stone descent at this section, but the bridge “removed” this obstacle. There is sand in the sea itself, the depth does not begin immediately.
The proximity to the city center with attractions makes it possible to stroll along the embankment in the evenings and admire sunsets, beautiful views, and ancient ruins. There is a historical museum nearby, which is also an interesting place.
We are pleased with our vacation, and the hotel played an important role in this.

My husband and I visited Sila for the first time, although we have been to Turkey many times, mainly in Alanya. The hotel was offered by a tour operator; we were looking for a city hotel. We checked in immediately, we arrived at 20.30. We were immediately sent to dinner. It was late dinner but there was a decent selection of food. We got an excellent room, 217. It is not far from the pool and on the first floor. The hotel is two floors, no elevators. Green, cozy and quiet. The food at the hotel is very good, there is always a choice. If you come at the end, you will still be found. During our stay, which was 7 days. There were two themed parties. On Friday a young group of girls performed and sang very well. That evening we grilled delicious fish. And it was Turkish night on Tuesday. Turkish dishes were served and at the end of the evening there was cake and ice cream. Gorgeous takeaway. Walk along the beach for 10-15 minutes. First along the back streets, then past the cute resort shops. By 11 o'clock the sunbeds are gone. There is an entrance to the sea - a ladder. But the bottom is great. Sand, flat. For a very long time there is no depth, comfortable.

There is no animation in the hotel, there is nothing to do with children, the main contingent is elderly Europeans. If this does not scare you, then the hotel is suitable for you. I do not recommend the hotel to couples with young children and party-goers.

A very pleasant hotel. We arrived early, but the kind girl Aitam immediately checked us into our room. The rooms are partly in a 3-storey building, partly something like a town house in which we were accommodated. The room is small, never new, although traces of cosmetic repairs are visible. However, everything functioned and the beds were comfortable. An avocado tree grew right next to the house, ripe and unripe fruits fell right onto the veranda. Inside the hotel there is a cozy promenade of various trees and flowers, there are cages with birds and parrots. Very nice. The food for three rubles was simply amazing. Not every foursome feeds this way. Grand respect to the chef.
It's a ten minute walk to the beach along pretty streets. The beach on the stone embankment directly under the ancient Greek fortress wall is quite cramped, but somehow we fit in quite well. Descent to the sea along the bridge. The hotel has a remote beach - it is spacious, but boring there. We went once and that was enough.
In general, it’s okay to rest.
I would add the salary to the girl Aitam and the chef.

We went to the Turkish hotel for my husband’s birthday, expecting a feast of delicious, authentic Turkish food, but unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The food was far from authentic Turkish cuisine, lacking the rich flavors and traditional dishes we had hoped for. The meals were bland and uninspired, missing the vibrant spices and fresh ingredients that usually make Turkish food so enjoyable. Instead, we were served generic, poorly prepared dishes that didn’t reflect the country’s culinary heritage at all. It was clear that little effort went into the cooking, and the overall quality was well below average. Sadly, the food ended up being one of the biggest letdowns of our stay.

There were people who wrote negativity in the previous comments. We did not encounter any negativities. Chief Chef Bülent Bey and Chef Ergün Bey offered many food options at every meal. Cafeteria employees Esra Katkat, Emre Uysal, Hasan Kaya, Salih Mert Ülker, Yunus Katkat, Eren Korkutalp served with all their heart and soul. The cleaning staff also had the same understanding. A Turkish Night and a Classical Music Night were organized during our stay. It was great. Mr. Mahir and Hüseyin at the reception were also friendly and understanding. The sun loungers by the sea were sufficient. The place to swim was rocky, but we went into the sea from the beach just to the right and left.

We spent our vacation in this hotel. The hotel is at a great location, its near the beach and old town. Hotel is beautiful-white-blue colored, with a pool. Staff, manager and maids are very polite and kind.
Food is excellent (especially cookies and cakes), I only wish that they could change the breakfast a little bit, because its always the same.
Everything else was very, very goooood. Hope we'll come back again!

A hotel where you can feel as at home. Great hospitality, starting from the reception guys, the front desk managed always open for help and make your stay at the hotel more comfortable, the restaurant guys, they all became my friends. Plus the food is excellent and room cleaning every single day while we stayed there... In shortly you will get much more than you've expected and even payed for, and want to stay there at Side Sunberk again and again. This was my 3th time in this hotel.
See you soon again Side Sunberk ☺️

I am on vacation 2 times, everything is excellent, I am absolutely delighted with the staff, food, animation, wonderful music, delicious drinks in the bar, and the flowering gardens give me a wonderful mood. In the evenings we were delighted by Turkish artists and warm, unforgettable nights. The road to the beach takes only 10 minutes. Within walking distance are: shops, banks, market, pharmacy. I would like to thank all the staff (especially the receptionist) for the warmth they gave me, and I personally say hello to Ayten. I want to come back again! See you soon, dear Sunburk. With love, your Inna, I will be back))))
