The main advantage of the hotel is the staff. Attentive staff, good housekeeping, excellent food. The hotel is within walking distance of the main historical sights and short walk to the beach, location is the great for walkers. The rooms are not modern one, but clean and cozy. Great choice if you want a relaxing holiday. Mira, Serbia

We spent our vacation in this hotel. The hotel is at a great location, its near the beach and old town. Hotel is beautiful-white-blue colored, with a pool. Staff, manager and maids are very polite and kind. Food is excellent (especially cookies and cakes), I only wish that they could change the breakfast a little bit, because its always the same. Everything else was very, very goooood. Hope we'll come back again!

Just stayed at Sunberk Hotel and absolutely loved it. Was a little reluctant after reading reviews was pleasantly suprised. Location fantastic. Close to everything. The food was great and the staff and management were awesome and the happiest staff we came across. There was 11 of us from Australia and they bent over backwards to accomadate us. There wasnt nothing they couldnt do. Thankyou Sunberk for accomadating us. We will definately be back. Would recommend 100% Ali İldir and Gülcan Ildir.

Nice hotel with quite nice rooms and a very good location. The staff were friendly, but mainly there for the russian guests. The food was average, typical for a 3 star hotel in Tyrkey, however, during our stay, the many russian guest did not now how to wait their turn when lining up for the buffet. So in short: If you don't mind to spend e week or two with a lot of russians and their behavior it's a nice enough hotel.

We definately got the worse apartment in the place ,room no 410, very old and tatty, needs pulling down really, but decided not to move as it was very quiet, after a day in the belting sun we could sit outside, just, as the patio was tiny, and enjoy the shade under the trees. We werent given a sheet to put over us, just a blanket, i stole one off the cleaners trolley and from then on was issued a clean one every day. The staff , from the gardeners, cleaners, waiters, reception, everyone, EXCEPT the Manager, were EXCELLANT. The food, at best, just ok .we didnt pay much for this holiday and was happy to eat out sometimes. The worse bit about our stay were the other guests, we were the only English there for the most of our stay, this usually would not be a problem to me, i can get on with most people, but not these. totally ignored my smiles and good mornings, infact i think i had become invisible, they often tried to walk through me as opposed to round me, Side is a must, we were located very near the old part and the beach, i would definitely recommend this area. Side is very large and you could end up quite a long way out of it all

This is my second stay at Sunderland we really enjoyed it again. There were however one or two let downs- 1. The breakfast isn’t very good. Really odd combinations with broccoli! We went out for breakfast every day cos there’s just not much to choose from. 2. The bar manager is quite rude and does not know how to treat guests in the hotel. At 8pm I went to the bar and requested a cocktail and he looked at me in disgust and said not right now. I went back an hour later and he done the same thing. He told me niece off for spilling a drink near the pool which was just an accident, commenting on taking glasses when the drink she spilt was in a plastic cup. Other than the two issues we had a good stay and will probably return at some point

We came from this hotel after a week vacation. The hotel is really good according the price that you pay. It really worths the three stars. The room was big. The food was delicious, except the breakfast, could be better, but you can always find what to eat. The employees are very friendly and always with a smile. They cooked fish outside and also there was Turkish night, so they cooked fish and kebab. The biggest disadvantage that I could find is the beach as the sunbeds are broken and you need to go early to take it as if you come at about 11, you will have to lay down without umbrella. However, the hotel is in a great place in the city. All the attractions are really close.

My friend and I have just returned from a week in Sunberk and we have to say we were pleasantly surprised! As it was a cheap and cheerful holiday we were not sure what to expect but we could not really fault the hotel. The only thing we did not like at the hotel was the breakfast - other than that the food was really nice. The rooms were clean and quite spacious. The brothers running the spa are absolutely lovely and would definitely recommend the hamam! The hotel is perfectly located near all the shops, restaurants and the beach. Wi-Fi is and safe are only 10 euros each for the whole week and the wifi was quite reliable - odd down time during a storm but that's expected. All the staff were really friendly and welcoming - I would 100% recommend the hotel and would like to return in the near future.

This hotel is great for the price. It is ideally situated for Side old town and historic center. The rooms are clean and in good condition. The restaurant food is OK but we eat out most of the time so cannot comment on the quality. The Hamam is good and very professional and a good price. If you are after a English only Hotel this is not for you but if you are after a good quality, clean and friendly Hotel this is the hotel for you.
