There were four of us on holiday here in August (26 & 28 years) and can only report positive things.
We were warmly welcomed at the reception. The rooms were not ready by 12:00 and we could enjoy our first meal in the restaurant. The food was very varied and delicious over the whole 10 days. It had something for everyone.
When we were allowed in the room, the page with the suitcases helped us. Very friendly and motivated, which you can't say about every hotel. The rooms were very nicely equipped and clean. They were well cleaned every day and nothing was missing.
The pool area is very large. Nevertheless, as in any hotel, there are difficulties with the loungers as they are occupied very early. The facility was very clean including toilets. You could always see someone cleaning and disinfecting, which pleased us very much. The beach area is also nice and clean. You really always saw someone cleaning and cleaning up.
There was food and drinks around the clock. The only thing we can complain about here are the cocktails, they don't really have them under control. But it's not a point why we would deduct a star here.
We can also recommend the hotel photographers. We had a wonderful photo shoot with friendly photographers. Here a little negotiating skill is required at the price, but it is really worth it.
Staff at the hotel were generally friendly. There are always some who are not. But you can find that in every hotel.
As a conclusion we can say - A wonderful place, very clean, friendly staff, varied food. A successful holiday :)

The hotel is spotlessly clean with lots of attention to detail with friendly and helpful staff.
Rooms: The rooms were comfortable and spacious with a free well stocked mini bar which is replenished daily.
Pool area: The pool was large and very clean. A lot of sunbeds are reserved around the pool area by approximately 8am and it is worth noting that there are no lifeguards around the pool or children’s slides, so if have younger children you will need to supervise them. There was a lifeguard at the top and bottom of the larger sliders, but they didn’t get too involved with anything happening at the bottom of the pool.
The areas around the pool and snack bars are incredibly slippy and I would highly recommend that anyone wears shoes or flip flops as we saw some nasty falls in 7 days.
Beach:The beach was easily accessible from the rear of the hotel, it was clean with plenty of sun beds and its own snack bar.The water was warm and clean.
Restaurant: The food here was exceptional! The quality and presentation for the amount of guests in the hotel was outstanding. It was clean and everything looked fresh with many different options available.
Entertainment:The night time entertainment started at 8.30pm with a mini disco, followed by the main act at 9.30pm which was usually a magic show, kids circus or a dance, show all of which were entertaining.
Overall we felt it was a fantastic hotel, which was great value for money and we would definitely return and recommend.

First the good points the hotel is clean and well presented, rooms, although not big, have everything most people need. Balconies are on the small side, just enough room for a couple of chairs and a small table. Given that we were on an all inclusive package the food was plentiful, well presented and a very good choice. The pool is very clean although in busy periods you will need to be up early for a sun bed, the better option is to head to the beach where sunbeds and shade are plentiful.
The bad things:-
The water slides - these are a deathtrap as there are no active lifeguards and no one monitoring who is using the slides. The lifeguards seem to spend most of their time on their phones and out of sight. As a result you have small children using the same slides as fully grown men. Some of the slides you can see top to bottom and therefore whether it is safe to proceed, others you can't see the bottom from the top and with no safety system in place you don't know whether the previous user has left the slide before you go down. Also the splash pool at the bottom is used as a swimming pool meaning you can't be certain it is safe when you set off at the top. Our concerns were reported to our hotel through our TUI rep but they didn't seem bothered about improving things.
Language - The hotel is very focused on the German market, this means that although a significant number of British guests use the hotel it can be difficult to communicate with the staff. This led to problems one night when, unknown to us, there had been a widespread power cut across Turkey meaning the hotel needed to use its generator, unfortunately our room was close to the generator which kept us awake all night, when we complained we kept being told that it would be fixed shortly, but not that there was a wider issue. Knowing this would have made a big difference.
Customer service - we arrived at just before 9.30pm and by the time we checked in it was 9.40pm by this time the main restaurant had closed and we weren't allowed an evening meal. We were told that we could have cake or bread rolls. Also on the day we left we asked about getting a picnic bag as we were leaving early before breakfast started, with the same response so we ended up buying food at the airport.
Most of these faults would be easily fixed which makes the issues all the more frustrating and resulted in my score of 3/5.

It is 3 star if that. Very disappointing and would never return
The rooms are very dirty and old, the bathroom was absolutely disgusting
I think you are paying for the waterslides which are quite a walk into the other hotel Taj Mahal next door
The food is really poor, very repetitive and not good quality at all. Kids were throwing bread all over the floor /playing about with it then picking it up off the floor and putting it back in the baskets, kids picking up food and messing it all up, i think food should be served to kids or parents should serve them as its just gross and not nice for everyone else
Fizzy drinks served at dinner were all flat and not fizzy
Orange juice at breakfast was 2 euros per glass which i think is an absolute joke! it was full of pips and pith also
Restaurant queues were really long, i didn't bother getting much food as i hate queuing then people push right in at the front, it would help if food was served in this case
Restaurant waiters don't offer you a drink when you sit down you almost have to shout at them to get a drink. If you tip them they come over straight away
Pool food is very poor quality indeed! awful quality and hardly any choice
Drinks are absolutely gross as well, really sugary and syrupy, also run out of a lot of drinks too
WiFi is absolutely atrocious and completely unuseable, even in reception there is no signal or all bandwith is being used. Can't get any access in the room whatsoever
Rooms were cleaned ok but certainly are not spotlessly clean. Really need completely refurbed and renewed. The coffee tray has wooden sticks not wrapped and covered in dust which is gross
The air con in the room is not very good at all, it just barely cool. We left it on the whole time we were there and im sure it is turned off at night or the temperature is increased so it isnt as cool
All furniture in the hotel is filthy dirty and stinks of wet dog where people sit on it all in wet clothes from the pool, the chairs were all really low as well which made it difficult for me to get out of as i have bad knees
We had to get up at 7am to get a sun bed around the pool which is absolutely crap when you are on holiday. By 8am all sunbeds had gone!!
No waiter/waitress service around pool, which is really poor for a 5*
The pool was really nice and water was warm
There were 3 of us in one room and we had a ridiculous camp bed style bed instead of a proper bed, we asked reception for an adult bed in Turkish but they just said they dont have any available which i do not believe, why even have these beds?? It was so uncomfortable
Beach was lovely but it was too hot to walk on the sand so we stayed around the pool. Great sun shades on the beach and sea was warmer than the pool
Would not recommend this hotel or return here. I would go to Titanic Marden Palace instead, it is absolutely wonderful

The food was good, a large selection in the buffet to suit all palates, snack bars around the hotel were tasty (don’t forget to visit the patisserie). The beach bar was really tasty.
Drinks were good at all bars but the the lobby bar and Fantasia bar indoors did the best cocktails (Hussein was very good who worked here). Definitely visit these.
The littler pool bar tucked away at the back near the waterfall in the pool is always quieter.
Funfair was great, and what we saw of the evening entertainment was enjoyable.
Beach was gorgeous, busy but could always get a lounger and sea was lovely and warm. Very sandy and no rocks so perfect for children.
If you come out the hotel by the beach and turn right and walk to the bridge in the morning you can see lots of turtles.
The swimming pools were all great, was tricky at times to get a sun bed but we always managed in the end. The slides at the neighbouringTaj Mahal that are for use are great, you wouldn’t know it’s another hotel it’s not an issue and can use all facilities there.
The only negative was we found service for drinks at breakfast to be very slow. Some days I e left breakfast not having a drink.
But the waiters for lunch& dinner were good. We found tipping just a couple of euros or lira of an evening got you the best service, it was 100/% worth it. The waiter working the section right at the back, first name initial was N (maybe N.D something? I feel awful I can’t remember as he was lovely).
Lots of guests of all nationalities but we were always understood and no one was rude.
I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The room was very clean however we agree that the room and hotel perhaps needs some sort or refurbishment as it feels a little dated. We were initially given a room with twin beds however the guest relations hotel staff quickly offered a change of room with a double bed. The bed was much more comfortable than the the single beds had been. We had a fantastic pool and sea view in room 5152. The entertainment was very good and there was a variety of acts during the course of the week. Overall we would highly recommend this resort for a fantastic holiday experience. Thanks again to all the lovely staff at the hotel, they were all outstanding and made the experience very memorable 🌅♥️
The food was of good quality, but again of strange mixtures for example, at breakfast there was a cauliflower saute, brussell sprouts floating in some form of liquid, mashed potatoes. It appears that these strange items are very popular with people other than Brits. We were there over Christmas, which was a non event. The tables were dressed Christmas eve, but the food was a repetition of the days previously with the highlight being lamb chops, which were very good, but not a Christmas favourite. Being a Muslim country and apparantly hotel no bacon or real sausages were served, there were eggs cooked to order and also ommlettes, which again were edible. I can only say there was always something to eat, but it wasn't something to get overjoyed about.
The drinks were varied with a few imported makes except if you are a Gin drinker, then you have yo put up with Turkish gin, the beer was ok as it was Effes.
The staff ere very friendly and attentive.
The 2 A'lacarte restaurants we tried the Asian and the Italian were very good and reasonable at 20 euros per person.
The location is so so, but there are regular Domus services into Side, for a couple of euros.
If you are looking for a nice hotel but not worried about the food served to you, then this hotel would be ideal
