We came here with our family. First day we came here , we got bored and we decided to quit hotel but later animation group including ayel orhan rabia changed our decision. But overall in compare with other hotels (voyage, maxx royal,..) Foods and location are weaker But animation group as I said made us enjoy a little bit more.

The room was lovely, spacious and well appointed - we were particularly taken with the television which was part of the mirror, the only problem was that there was no British channel available to watch on it. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very modern with an excellent shower. As the rooms we had was in one of the blocks we were pretty well central to all the amenities which were also very impressive. There was a wide range of organised activities laid on during the day and it has to be said that Martin and Slim did a great job of keeping us informed of these - and the evening entertainments - they worked tirelessly to drum up participants and make sure that everyone was having a good time. The food was also excellent, I don’t think there was anything that you couldn’t find on the buffet tables so nobody went hungry. The downside of the extensive buffet was that the place was packed with children which made walking around a bit precarious, apart from looking at the food you needed to watch out for dropped food, dashing toddlers and crawling babies - don’t get me started about the noise - we did ask why there was no area set aside for adults but were told that this was a family hotel that encouraged children, so be warned if you if you like a peaceful time on holiday, you won’t find anywhere where there are no crying children and shouty parents. There were about 5 bar areas open at various times around the hotel complex, and you could get drinks in all of the restaurants, the downside here was that there was normally only one person serving and two tidying, who would help at a push, which meant that you had to wait a fair time to be served, but for the most part they were pretty efficient. So for those adults who wish to bypass the chaos, there are a number of speciality restaurants - we particularly enjoyed the Italian, Asian and Mexican restaurants, (there was a 9E cover charge for the Italian and Mexican restaurants), the food and service is excellent and if you are lucky there won’t be any grizzling children in attendance - but if there are it is the waiting staff that have to dance around them so the danger of tripping over them is minimised. As for the bars my advice is to tip the first waiter / waitress that gives you table service, they will make sure that you are looked after for the remainder of your session. There are also the cabanas, these cost 60E for the day, they are gorgeous, secluded little enclaves where you receive waiter service all day, again a tip at the start of your session will ensure you get excellent service all day - for a further 50E you can have the cabana for the evening too and this price includes a barbecue, they set up a table and a cooker and provide more food than 4 of you could possibly eat, (you can ask for someone to cook the food for you if you wish). We had a lovely day enjoying this experience which they advertise as “ be a sultan for a day”, just see IPad on the guest relations desk to pre book the days you want - (we called him IPad, he was a lovely guy for whom nothing seemed too much bother). The journey from the airport was only 1 hour, despite being the last drop, but it is a little way from the main shopping centre of Belek - there is a bus service that costs 1E pp each way, but we had a taxi for 6E. Belek has a very nice little shopping area but the prices are fairly high - as are their overheads - if you want the cheaper “ genuine fakes” then the market trips through the holiday reps are well worth the price. We found that we got a very good price on goods through the hotel shops and they didn’t mind a little bit of haggling on price. We loved the layout of the hotel, which was quite magical of an evening when all the mood lighting was employed, there were lots of little seating areas and best of all, from our point of view was that the hotel encouraged cats which would settle down on your laps enjoying a good fuss. There was also no shortage of sun beds over the extensive grounds, the beach was also lovely, and very well kept, there was a further bonus of a pier with 40/50 sun beds where you can take advantage of any sea breeze. To be honest we couldn’t fault the hotel, the facilities or their staff in any way at all, if we could have done anything about the seemingly “millions” of kids and the amount of Russian guests - who lets face it are not the happiest of people - it would have been 5 stars al the way.

It is not a fancy hotel but definitely it is good. The interior design corresponds to the name Atlantis - there are maritime and mythological motives in its decoration. The hotel is situated on the beach and is surrounded by a very beautiful garden with green lawns, palm trees and lots of flowers. The standard rooms are rather small but they are nicely decorated. If they face the sea, the view from the balcony is fantastic. The part of the beach in front of the hotel is the best in the village, in my opinion - it is less crowded than the neighbourhood. The food is good and there is a lot of choice. They serve different kinds of meat and fruit. The only complaint is that they never serve Turkish coffee or any other good coffee. Instead, there is instant coffee from a coffee machine and some very weak ground coffee from a kettle at breakfast. Also, one might miss porridge or gruel for breakfast. Most visitors of this hotel are German so all the staff speak German but very few of them speak English or Russian. Anyway, it never really was an issue. As for entertainment, there is nothing interesting in the surrounding area. If you want to see something more than your hotel and your beach, you will need to take a bus to ancient Side or book various excursions from a travel agent.

We spent two weeks here with my family in the summer of 2010. We enjoyed the stay and received all we needed. Staff was very very kind, we met smiling helpful people, and service was ok. Meals were delicious and variety was also great. By dolmus we visited old Side several times. This hotel has a good price-quality ratio, well, I only can recommend it!
