First of all, the hotel is beautiful. The moment you enter it takes your breath away. The service is one of a kind. the whole staff is incredibly friendly and will do everything to make your stay unforgettable. The food is really good, especially in the Steak house restaurant. The foie grass there is to die for. The rooms are super nice and the resort is just beautiful. Overall 5 stars appreciation and will definitely come back.

Overall, I have mixed feeling about this hotel, perhaps because I had such high expectations for it (many describe it as better than Maxx Belek, which we loved). We did enjoy ourselves but, honestly, I don’t think it’s worth the massive price tag. I would return, but only if I got an exceptionally good deal. Best bits - The setting is absolutely stunning. - The food! On a par with Maxx Belek. I can’t imagine you’ll beat it in Turkey (though we are looking forward to trying Lujo next year which may be in with a shot?). Didn’t have a bad meal and the desserts are absolutely delicious (better in the restaurants than the patisserie). Coconut panacotta and ginger crème brulee were our favs. Also had the best tiramisu I’ve ever had. Not having a buffet helped us not to overeat! - The homemade ice lollies were amazing – an unexpected highlight (try the mango and coconut!) - Fish restaurant was our fav, with the best staff overall. Special thanks to Ryan, Jorome, Aykut Mete and Eyup. - House wine is excellent (we liked the Sauvignon Blanc) - Huge rooms, loads of storage, extremely comfy beds and pillows - We loved the wild goats that were everywhere in the afternoons. Watching them climb up the cliffs was mind-blowing. They were quite nervous of people but a few were brave enough to be hand fed. They seem to have a (very warm and friendly) guy who’s in charge of keeping them in check and not straying into certain areas. - Rock climbing for kids was a highlight – shame it’s only on once per week and the guys running it did not seem to be enjoying their jobs… - They serve pork! This is the first time I’ve seen it in Turkey (prosciutto pizza and bacon at breakfast) - The waterpark was excellent but not for the feint hearted! - Kids club was well equipped (but we weren’t blown away by the staff). - Water is clear enough for snorkelling Negatives - Jeez this is a noisy resort! There is loud music playing all day from the various bars and it travels so far that you end up hearing multiple streams of music simultaneously! Don’t get me started on the aqua-aerobics sessions! - The evening entertainment goes on to 10:30pm or sometimes a bit later. I can’t imagine there is anywhere in the hotel you could escape the noise of it. Fine if you are watching it but not good otherwise. It was very intrusive when in our room. The noise from the nightclub could also be heard in our room until the early hours but not at such a high volume. - There was also an extremely noisy cockerel that seems to live around the royal residence buildings and it started crowing at 2am every night through to morning. It meant we had very disturbed sleep. We just couldn’t tune it out. - The beach wasn't very attractive (grey gravel). Such a shame all the white sand has washed away. That would make such a difference. - Cocktails underwhelming. Poor, tasteless mojitos (we found the same at Maxx Belek) - Room was large and comfortable but very dark - The loos (especially in our room) were always a bit smelly even straight after cleaning – not sure why : /. ( a contrast to the otherwise lovely smelling hotel) - The loungers around the main pools were comfy but all the rest were the basic type – not what I’d expect at somewhere of this class. Fantastic experience. The hotel has so many plus points including a fabulous personal assistant on what’s app and in person. Rooms were fab. Water park and spa (which kids are welcome) was great and entertainment was out of this world. The best I’ve seen. Cocktails were remarkable. I would like to give a very special mention to the best waiter I think I’ve ever had Mete in the fish restaurant he remembered our names and made our kids feel so welcome. He really made our experience all the better so professional friendly personal and super efficient. I really hope next time we visit (we will return) he is made manger. He was Exceptional. The waiting staff at the beach Resturant were also very good. The breakfast was amazing there. The only downside to the resort was the beach being shingle and it being windy. …

Maxx Royal is more than a Holiday! Maxx Royal is an experience to live! You cannot imagine what is waiting you by looking the web site, pictures, and videos. You should be there to understand how big the concept is. Everything even little things are done to satisfy the client. I travelled a lot and even in Europe you will never experience something like with Maxx Royal! Maxx Royal is my best hotel forever! We used to go in Maxx Royal at Belek but this time we wanted to discover the Maxx Royal at Kemer. The place is just AMAZING you are between mountains and sea with the companies of beautiful goats. The place is peaceful, perfect to rest and charge your batteries. There are lot of entertainment all day long, every morning you receive a detailed message on your WhatsApp group by your Maxx Assistant. Believe me there’s something for everyone. During the evening there are also few programs like life music, different bands, dance at the Black Diamond outside bar, etc. because show must go on 😊 The swimming pool is very big, the sea is beautiful, and water is like crystal! Our royal residence family suite was crazy! 185 square meters! Living in the middle of parent’s room and kids’ room. The terrace with jacuzzi. Don’t know how to explain, it was very nice, luxurious, huge, clean, comfort, bedding flawless, the words are not enough to explain how everything is big in this resort! As I’m saying each time after my holidays at Maxx Royal is the fact that the resort is and stay my best choice also because of the personnel! The personnel are more than qualified, too professional, friendly, talkative, handsome, servable, good listener! At the end of your holidays, you’re like a family with them! That’s why I would like to thank all personal of this resort that’s makes our holidays INCREDIBLY WELL! I dont have to descrıbe this resort ıts by far the best ın everythıng and anythıng . first they upgraded our room then then the gave us late check out without asking WOOOW . the location and the architecture like a paradise , best food from all over the world from best chefs , best drinks and sweets , best service and smiling staff , best houskeeping . simply best everything . The location, room, and people are great! The food is also awesome. Very friendly for families with kids between 2-8 years. We will consider coming back again when our daughter is older, so she can enjoy the programs in this resort.

Absolutely amazing 10 night stay at the Maxxroyal. From start to the last day I simply can not fault this place. We have stayed at many luxury hotels and this has to be the best. The hospitality from all staff members was amazing. Loved the WhatsApp concept, having your own personal assistant keeping you updated with daily activities, events and taking care of dinner reservations. Thank you to Ekram and Rocio for making our stay very enjoyable and thank you for making our birthdays extra special. The resort is spacious, safe, tucked away amongst the mountains and very unique. Loved the mountain goats who are very friendly! Spoilt for choice as so many options to eat and loved the 24 hour Azure restaurant as well as all the others You have to pay a small supplement for the Gastro, Bronze and Teppinyaki but its worth it (Thank you to Lester at Teppinyaki - his service was outstanding). Daily activités were great lots of options to suit everyone. Loved the bike riding. The spa and gym facilities also great, however, would have preferred in door heated pool. Evening entertainment was fantastic, again suitable for all. Kids club looked brilliant and safe (did not use as travelled with an 15 year old). The water park is a brilliant addition and very clean and safe with life guards at all times. Plenty of sun beds and the pool waiters and waitresses were so helpful and constantly asking if you wanted anything. Forgot to mention the chocolate strawberries were out of this world. …

Amazing hotel, extraordinary hospitality with a personal assistant model, world class a la carte restaurants. Marvelous nature, great beach surrounded with goats :) Extremely green, very well designed and decorated hotel. Cocktails, drinks, sweets, night shows were all perfect.
