When hiking the Lykian way you basically hike from one fantastic view to the next. In that perspective it is really impressive that this hotel offers views to absolute top almost any other view I have seen on the Lykian Way....The view from Belos ruins being a possible exception. The hotel seems a bit run down but it has great... More

We arrived at the gül mountain hotel by accident during our hike of the lycian way. After some difficulties of finding our way there, we felt very warmly welcomed by the hotel owner. During our entire stay, the hotel kept surprising us, first of all with a very empathetic service (for example offering laundry at our arrival, making a little... More

Doing the Lycian Way at the end of the season meant that many of the places we stayed at were winding down. We were one of only two couples staying at this large hotel, although there were some large tour groups at lunch. This meant that the advertised pool and sauna we were looking forward to were not available, which... More

Good place to stay when hiking on the Lycian way or other paths through the mountains near Antalya. The rooms are basic and a bit damp and the whole place has a bit of an outdated touch, but this is the only drawback, as the food served is great, the views of the Antalya bay and the mountains are beautiful... We came across this rustic hotel and restaurant on a drive out from the Finike area. It has good views and the added on annex gives a second area for guests to use. There is an indoor pool (covered for the winter) and a small sauna room. The main lounge and restaurant area was also warm and welcoming. We had... More

The best aspect of this place are the expansive views over the surrounding mountains. We only went there to eat, so I can't comment on the rooms but the food was good and the staff friendly. But the place does look a bit rundown. We thought it was closed when we arrived - it could do with some money being... More

during our hike on the lycian way we stayed one night at gül mountain hotel. the whole place has more the caracter of a mountain shelter than a hotel, but this is what we needed. the room was clean and offered everything necessary. due to the season and the altitude it was a bit cold, but we found enough blankets... A strange place. Helpfully situated high in mountains above Antalya for start of Lycian Way long distance walk. The hotel feels more like a run down youth centre but the staff were friendly and helpful and the food good. There is a very cold indoor pool; table tennis and expansive views.

We arrived late - 10:30pm - after a 2hr transfer from Antalya airport. Providing us with an excellent dinner of oven roasted trout, salad, fruit etc was no bother. A hearty breakfast followed before we set off on day 1 of our Lycian Way walk. Average rooms but you cannot fault the friendliness of the owners.

This place is a fabulous mountain retreat. Most people staying here are doing a hike on the Lycian Way, but we opted to spend four days just doing day hikes and walks. The rooms are simple and somewhat small, but clean and comfortable with incredible views of the valley and ocean beyond. You are miles away from the hustle and... More
