Stayed for a few nights in October and was really impressed by this hotel. Our room was extremely clean and modern, although bathroom could do with updating but that is the only negative. Everything else was fabulous. Staff extremely helpful, breakfast is out of this world, relaxing bar and pool area. Very stylish hotel and lovely owner
This is very well one of the best hotels within The Bay Area. The rooms are large and modern and exceptionally clean. On top of this the breakfasts are magnificent. My only quibble I think breakfasts should be served at 8:00 not 9:30.
On a trip initially planned as 7 days, my friends and I spent 23 beautiful days in True Blue. This was our first time in Kalkan so I was a bit unsure of what to expect and what to do. But even on arrival, we knew that we made the right choice. The loveliest owner, Tuba, greeted us with a warm smile and welcoming arms. The hotel arranges airport transfers which are very smooth and reasonably priced. The spacious suites are delightfully furnished, modern and chique! The hotel is newly remodeled, from bathrooms to the furniture, everything is brand new, spotlessly clean, and has everything you can need. We stayed in the suites with the kitchen units which turned out to be a great choice for our almost month-long holiday. The internet, which was a big concern for us before arrival since we all had to join zoom meetings and online classes, was very unproblematic and very fast compared to Turkey standards, with an average of 28mbits. What surprised me the most was the breakfast. Unlike the many boutique hotels I have stayed previously, True Blue’s breakfast was incredibly varied and simply delish! Honestly, it was beyond 5-star hotel standards and with recipes - which we learned later, were Tuba’s - we had the infamous Turkish breakfast experience every day. The pool area was quiet, chilled and with very comfy cabanas and sun-beds, our work sessions turned out to be a breeze. The hotel is near the Kalamar Bay, which made the trip serene and tranquil, much needed after the vivacious nights in Kalkan center. Slightly out of town with just £3 for a taxi ride was perfect for us. We had an activity for almost every day. Patara, Kaputas, Kas, and many more rare gems are accessible with transfers that Tuba’s team arranges with just a phone call, all reasonably priced. It is also possible to book boat trips, and do water sports, which we opted frequently. I usually hesitate to go on long trips with friends but frankly True Blue changed this forever. We are already looking to come back next year and maybe even sooner. Huge shout out to Tuba for her motherly touch throughout and making the trip unforgettable for us.…
Stayed here for 4 nights with my friend. We only booked it a few days earlier and were really delighted when we arrived as everything was so lovely. The suite had a Sea View and was really spacious, particularly important as one of us had the Sofa Bed in the living room. The whole place is immaculate; very pretty and incredibly relaxing. The staff are lovely; they are all so helpful. Breakfast is exceptional. We had been travelling for several weeks and I believe this the best place we had stayed in. It is a little out of the way but is walking distance to a lovely restaurant and Beach Club in a very quiet area. A taxi to the Harbour takes five minutes and is about £3. I highly recommend this Hotel.
Room was mis-sold. Locks to door and balcony were broken. No useable shower. There were positives, and I left a positive review on booking.com in the spirit of helpfulness, but have subsequently been harassed in a hectoring and rude manner by the owner to change the part she did not like. I did try, but link had expired. She became personal about it.
