Un emplacement hors du commun, un personnel très serviable et accueillant nous sommes ravies! Such a great location, cheap, and reliable picture. Very nice and helpful receptionist, we are very pleased with our stay! Thank you for your hospitality
Great value for money. Good breakfast. Charming staff. Perfect location steps from the heart of the old town. A little shabby but we love that about it. Swimming pool small but a bonus. Five minutes walk to eat and drink by the sea. Five minutes walk to the buses and trams. Only downside. Uncomfortable rubber sheets on the mattresses.
I've been traveling solo for a year and I usually mix staying in both dorms & affordable single rooms. I usually stay in single rooms in places that I want to rest, linger & recharge. Held Hotel was the perfect place to recharge & relax. Quiet in heart of old city. 5 minute walk to many restaurant & live music options Nice pool to take cool dip & relax next to pool with Wi-Fi Basic single room with private bathroom Friendly family hosts Good, full breakfast included in room price 10 minute walk from tram stop from airport I stayed for 4 nights, sometimes not leaving the hotel until late afternoon when it was cooler outside. Easy to lay by pool or nap in private room. I also recommend renting bicycle nearby (hotel hosts can direct you) to cycle to nearby beaches, including Lara Beach where you'll pass the beautiful lower Duden waterfall on the way to the beach to swim. It's only 45-60 minute bike ride along coastline on mainly protected, separated bike path. It's very safe & flat bike ride. You can also go the other direction to the other main city beach.…
I happened across the Held by accident. I was staying at a four-star hotel on one of the main arteries in the old town of Antalya. While that was okay, it was overpriced and the rooms were small. And was billed of course in euros not lira. The Held felt like being in a comfy, unpretentious house. My room faced the street but was pleasantly quiet compared to my previous hotel. My room was well maintained and clean with private bath, TV and airco. A simple Turkish breakfast came with the room with tea or coffee. There's also a small pool for dipping in alongside the house that I hadn't noticed until a day after I arrived. Relaxed, friendly, simple and very affordable - in lira - I can recommend the Held.
This is one of your possible cheapest stays, yet don't expect more than a bed to sleep in. The rooms are very basic, with maybe some leaking sink or broken A/C. Looking at the reviews from people abroad, maybe I was too much of a local to see the authentic Turkish ambiance, but this surely wouldn't be what I expected. The location is great, it's in old town, like many other small hotels/hostels. Since the hosts are quite friendly and the stay is cheap (I'm talking for off-season and in comparison to other places nearby) I'd say this is a 2 out of 5.
