We are a couple that are slow traveling the world and have spent three months in Turkey, staying in multiple places right across the country and the Route Hotel is hands down the best place we have stayed. Location : Right in the middle of the old town area of Antalya but with really high quality parking right next door. So you can safely park your car if you have one with you. Rooms : The bedroom is standard, it has a wardrobe, fridge, powerful shower with plenty of hot water and there is a daily maid service. The rooms are sparkling clean but are not the star of the show here. The shared areas : This is a pretty unique place, where there is a nice indoor restaurant/ seating/ work area as well as a gorgeous courtyard with a log fireplace as a centre piece. There is someone on reception 24 hours a day and they even have Backgammon boards to while away the time if you need it. Breakfast : A proper Turkish Breakfast and now we see ourselves as experts on Turkish Breakfasts and you won't find better in town. Real attention to the details and has tea/ coffee & bottles of water included. Lunch/ Dinner : This place focuses on the food and well... the food it exceptional, it features an extensive Burger menu and as we have been working in the hotel this last week, we can tell you, we see the fresh ingredients being delivered every day and the burger patties are clearly handmade with love. You won't find a better Burger in Turkey and you will be hard pressed to find a better burger anywhere. The Staff : This is the star of the show, it is a tight knit team that all work together to provide the best experience, from the kitchen, housekeeping and front of house, everyone is on their game. Many other places in Turkey could learn from this team. We will come back to Antalya and we hope to be able to stay here, it is small so not many rooms. If you are wondering whether you should book. We would suggest just do it. You will find I don't review on Trip Advisor very often, that is because as constant travelers, that would be almost like a full time job in itself. But this place was something else and deserved my time to write something.…
Intially I saw the good reviews of the Route Hotel which attracted me. We stayed end of March 2021.We were really inpressed with the hotel and recomend it we will certainly book to visit again. The Turkish breakfast is worth the stay alone, lovely and fresh with everthing that you could wish for.
A fabulous stay with the team at Route Hotel. The second time visiting and just as impressed! Lovely warm welcome, super clean rooms, attentive service, wonderful breakfast and a fab location in the old town. Special thanks to Sezgin, Firket & Zeliha for their care of us.
This small hotel and restaurant has an amazing feel and is located in the heart of old town Antalya. As a result, everything feels personal and friendly. The staff enhance the experience with great service, big smiles, and delightful foods and drinks. The neighborhood has a major music scene and there are a lot of bars concentrated in a small area, so, expect noise and activity when staying at the hotel. Route Hotel had live music performing while we were staying, which we enjoyed too. I would highly recommend it for those that want action but in a relaxed setting. It's all very charming inside and outside.
One of the best places i have accommodated in on a vacation, very guest focused and generous in many ways, in addition to being successful in imitating and indulging in the style of the surroundings of the area of kaleici the old city
We stayed in Route hotel last week for 3 nights before flying to Cappadocia. First of all the staff at the hotel is amazing and breakfast was huge and delicious. There is no elevator so you have to drag your luggage and carry ons to the second floor, where the rooms are located. Rooms are clean and nice but smallish in size, compared to what we’ve seen in Turkey. Especially for 3 people with large luggages and carry ons. The worst was probably the loud music coming from the restaurant/bar across from the hotrl. They had live performances every day so it was almost impossible to fall asleep. Overall it’s definitely noisy in Kaleici, unless the rooms are soundproofed. When we were checking out we found ear plugs in the desk 😂 but it was too late by then. We didn’t try the food as my daughter and I are vegetarians and it’s a burger restaurant.…
Good service and great location. Tiny but very cozy room. We stayed for 3 nights when we checked out early morning they provide us for lunchbox. All staff are friendly. We will definitely stay here again.Highly recommend!
Friendly, welcoming staff. Very good location for Antalya/Kaleiçi. They serve very nice breakfast and clean rooms. There is a nice fireplace that never goes out in the hotel's public area where you can have your dinner in the winter moths. I was quite satisfied during my vacation here.
This place is really small, but the service, staff members, restraints and location make up for it. The receptionists/servers, Hulya, Feiko, and the other gentleman, were helpful, kind, and friendly. The chef, Zelea, prepared our breakfast and everything was delicious. The hotel’s lunch/dinner menu was mostly American, which was not a bad thing. I’ve tried their burger, chicken strips, and salmon salad and they were all delicious. The location is in the middle of the old town so car access might be limited. It’s really close to the colorful houses, a killer view of the Ancient Harbor, and plenty of souvenir shops and restaurants. There’s also a convenience store right in front of the hotel. The only improvement I wish could be implemented is a better soundproofing for the room and the windows. Other than that, I would recommend this place. …
Travelled solo and just needed a small sleeping place. This place fit the Bill. It’s close to the beach, and many good restaurants nearby. Definitely a place to stay if you like to just walk around and explore. I booked small places before and some are pretty sketchy despite the pictures. I was nervous honestly when I arrived but too much amazement, the hotel was well maintained and very clean. The staff is great too, because it’s a small hotel ... the staff can tend to you more individually and be personable. Loved it, thank you Route Hotel for an amazing stay.
